I like his personality, it's well-rounded and still strong, and the image of him in a library makes me happy. The whole ribbon-effect has interested me for years, even just in general, so he definitely gets points for that and for his fear. <3

Okay. First off - design wise, he looks fantastic, and he's a perfect fit for the shop. Just, yeah. Love it forever.
Personality wise, excellent job fleshing it out.
I think you should take a look at his FEAR a little and work on it - because when I read it, I didn't understand what he actually does for his FEAR attack. It sounds vague, and could use some tightening up.
And seeing as I was just talking about goals in another thread, while I see that his goal is to hone his craft, you might want to think about some specifics. Technically the goal is good and an acceptable reason to be here, but I'd love to here some specifics about what he plans to do once he's honed his craft. Not 'what do I wanna be when I grow up', mind you, but 'What is driving me to be better?' and 'Is my future as a FEAR-collector in the human world a factor at all?'.
All in all, I think this is one of my favorite quests, the design is pure awesome, and I see him and Kallos having a lot of fun interaction, so I look forward to you both joining us. XD

But yes, going through the enrolled student's journals I was noticing some specific differences in the way they laid out their FEAR to the way I laid out mine. *salutes* thank you for the heads up~
As for a goal...*chin rub* I hadn't actually thought of a more specific goal, no. Thank you again for pointing that out~

The new FEAR is waaay clearer and sounds fantastic. You MIGHT come up with a problem around year 3 - Quote: Cat is now capable of unraveling living things, and thus his enemy. Because I don't know if that's allowed. But TBH that's something only a GM can tell you, not me. So don't worry about that till he's enrolled. XD But I love the unravelling of ribbons used as bonds, AND I love that in second year he can 'unravel' the reality of things like rocks and the environment. BOTH excellent adaptations <3

Yeah that's something I wasn't 100% on for battles and stuff, even though it doesn't hurt them and they can be repaired it's still rather...yeah. I was thinking something like a 1-in-20 chance of it actually succeeding or something lololo- Though that is ages and ages off, so we'll wait and see what the GMs think, yes >v<

HEY HOSTEL I RILLY LIKE CAT TOO. He's my favorite looking. /drool My only question is. WHAT ARE HIS FAVORITE BOOKS? Does he mostly like reference/non-fiction? WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF HE GOT LOST AND STARTED READING BOOKS IN THE UM, HISTORICAL FICTION SECTION  /shot forever. ANYWAY, I do really like him, my only request for my own curiosity is his book preferences, if he has any! Sorry if someone already asked this btw! I um, I DIDN'T READ THROUGH THE PREVIOUS CRIT CAUSE I SUCK

Baha Rav <3 this question was actually asked twice but I'm more then happy to expand on it~
Cat's curiousity compells him to be interested in EVERY book he reads, regardless of how good or bad it is. He's read classical historical novels that changed the world and he's read twilight. He wouldn't directly hate or like any book- bad books are still entertainment value for him, like B grade movie enthusiasts, while good books are just well written sections of prose. Yes, he even reads adult fiction if he can get his hands on it. Regardless of the level of horror or smut, he would probably still find the book entertaining in it's own way XD
He does, of course, prefer books with the Cheshire Cat in them |D
(and you are Cat's favorite-looking too /fogs up window creeperface style)

There is no constructive crit I can honestly give you for this, Hostel. Not only do you know I love him to itty bitty pieces but SO MANY OTHER people are honestly interested and fascinated by him.
He's well thought out. He doesn't contradict himself... his FEAR is amazingly awesome. For Jack's sake you even have a whole post dedicated to outlining his quirks.
I hope you get accepted on this guy soon. <3
