Welcome to all of you 3nodding And, yes, develina, you should definitely stop learning Pascal. It's become obsolete by now... I stopped using that about 5 years ago ^^ I just remember those days long ago when I knew what I was doing xp
You mean you don't know what you're doing ? eek sweatdrop

well, where to start....I am a senior out of high school (just graduated) and I am fluent with C++, HTML, and BASIC. I am also familiar with JavaScript, MFC, Java, and I want to get into pearl or python after strenghtening my skills with the above languages...I like anime, computers (of course), video games, drawing, reading, other literary arts, and women (I am a complete gentleman, I assure you). There isn't much in this world that I dislike, however. One thing is broccoli, nasty stuff...lol, but other than that, I am pretty happy go lucky I guess...if anyone would like to know more about me, pm me, as I do not use my journal much...(you could look at my profile, but a pm is preferred). I am looking forward to learning from the members of this guild, and hopefully contributing in a positive manner... 3nodding

Good for begining commands, but not good for learning instalations and the more detailed aspects of Linux and how a computer works. After you have enough of that, I suggest finding a minimalist Distro and setting up a full system from the ground, (Learning how to make a Dual-Boot system also helps) lol... I love brocoli... mmm... steamed..... he eh, anime... loveit.

Hi sweatdrop Name is Joshua. I'm 15 in Michigan. I am a script kiddie programmer. I have two 2-D games that I made I did both in a specific game programming language called BlitzBasic, which is like visual BASIC and Direct X combined. Besides that I've made a few small math homework programs in C++, but I am a know-nothing in C as far as games are concerned.

Hi I'm about to graduate from college. I've learned Java, JSP, Servlets, SOAP, .NET ASP. I'm going to teach myself C++ this summer. How many here are fluent in C++?
My thesis is creating a bug app using JSP. It's for the other beginning programmers at the university.
I look forward to talking to like minded coders. smile

My name's Jimmy, and I'm a code junkie.
Crowd: "Hi, Jimmy!"
I'm currently seeking a programming degree at Blackhawk Technical College (a little podunk college in south central Wisconsin), and will be chasing my dream of becoming a game designer once I graduate.
I have beginner's experience with C++, ASP.net, and Oracle SQL, slightly more experience with VB.net, and I've accumulated two years with Java(2). Not to mention the programs I wrote in high school for my TI-83. xd

And i know how to make a dual boot system ^_^
