He furrowed his brows as well as she looked at him her answer was soft but he could tell she didn't whole heartedly agree with him, but that was her choice. He at least felt less of a jerk than he had before in treating her such manner however he did not feel completely at ease either. "I'm glad you are at least willing to try, how many flowers do you need?" he replied not waiting to upset her any more, the least he could do was to help her out at this point.

The mare tried to think how many flowers she needed, and tried to think of how much she would usually bring back. Taking a short moment to consider the answer, the mare looked up to him when she had her answer. Her eyes reflecting a hint of shyness as she looked up to his eyes. “I think I usually bring back ten to fifteen flowers back, depending how big the flowers are.” As soon as she was done with her answer, her eyes would lower back down to the ground, feeling a tad embarrassed meeting the gaze of the stallion.

Ten to fifteen was a lot, or at least in his opinion it was luckily the flowers had started to grow if it had been winter she would have very little of a chance in find so many. He watched as she lowered her gaze back to the ground at least now she was answering by looking at hi m however her constant looking away was not going to be any help he thought as a frown started to ebb on his lips. Honestly he felt a little stupid worrying about some mare he had just met, this wasn't like him but he still felt in a way he was responsible to help her no matter what. He lowered his head so that he could see her aqua eyes as she looked down, they were in a way bluish when the glow of his own eyes caught them. "Then I should help you with that many," he replied keeping his head lowered.

Nolens Volens did not think the amount was not too much. It might take her a while, but the more time it took, the more time she was able to get away from her caretaker. At least when she was out, she would not have to worry over the watchful eye of her caretaker. The mare searched around the area, trying to see any distinct red flowers about. She would guess that they would not be too close to each other so they would not need to compete for resource, but not too far away from each other because they needed to be near each other, at least that was her guess.
Her ears perked up from being cocked back. “T-thank you.” She said softly, her eyes looking up to the stallion before her. “I d-don’t know what I can do to… repay you.” She said. “You’ve been too kind to me,” Her thoughts got to her and started feeling nervous again. Maybe it was a bad decision to talk to this stallion. Her eyes fell onto the small skeleton on hanging off her dream catcher. A sense of sadness filled her being again, pondering what to do after all this over. She could not possibly see him again after this.

"You are....... welcome," he replied unsure at first of the right words to use, it was not often that he could at least say you were welcome let alone heard the words thank you. He felt an odd wave of appreciate and happiness spread across his body as if he was embarrassed by her kind words and for once he couldn't look her straight in the eye. This wasn't something he was familiar with, he never felt embarrassed by anything his family had said to him though why should he be by a mere mare? He gave a small shake of his head before looking back at her as she looked back up to him. "You don't have to repay me, you are always more than welcome to come here to look for flowers when need be," he replied looking back at her and then to the small skeleton that hung on her dream catcher, what an odd thing to have. He wore nothing however bones that showed on his one leg, otherwise he was rather plain disgusting looking fellow who matched the darkness. "I'm far from kind I am merely doing what is necessary, I am sure that if you return I will still be here I don't have anywhere to go."

The mare nodded her head. “I’ll be sure to stop by if I need anymore flower.” She said quietly, not sure if she actually can stop by to visit the stallion himself. The mare did not want to know how her caretaker would feel if she made any ‘friends’. She did not think it would work out well if she did make any friends and her caretaker found out. The caretaker made sure that she remembered by chaining the bones of her last ‘friend’ to her dream catcher. She looked up to the stallion, “But, you have been kind to me.” She said softly. “And I’m grateful.”
The mare blinked and moved forward, considering she needed to start picking the flowers. She had spent a lot of time dallying, and she needed to hurry up and return to her caretaker. “I’ll be sure to remember you’re here.” She said softly, looking up to him with a brief smile before seeing a flower. The mare moved over to it and delicately nipped the flower down on the stem and caught kept the flower in her mouth, waiting to find another.

Jiibay merely gave a nod as she said she would stop by if she need, he wasn't sure if she really would or not however it was a thought and an offer if she wanted. He wasn't one who had friends, he didn't even have soquilis he could even call as acquaintances not even a familiar to chat to not that he ever felt the need. He just took the loneliness as part of his curse and treated as so, there was no point in worrying about trying to get friends when others seemed to never stay. However, when she said he was kind he felt that rather embarrassing emotion wash over him again as he forced himself to keep looking at her. Jiibay didn't want to appear shy or even bothered by it however he could still feel a hint of heat starting to appear in his cheeks which only made him feel even worse. Even more so when she smiled at him he couldn't really face her anymore, this was far too much kindness that he was use to. Sure his cheeks were rather red and for once in his life he was rather glad that his dark coat never let anything show. "I will be sure to make sure that there are flowers around if you do decide to come," he replied watching as she nipped one holding it in her mouth.

Nolens Volens listened the stallion and pondered his answer. How could he be sure there are flowers around? Certainly there wouldn’t be flowers all year-round, would there? The mare looked a tad puzzled, but was still grateful that the stallion was so generous and helpful.
The mare continued along, picking a flower periodically from small batches of flowers instead of taking all the flowers from the same batch, and did not seem to noticing the stallion’s reaction to her kind words. Instead, she tried to focus on the task on hoof. She had to collect flowers lest her caretaker decided to be impatient and decided to seek her out. She would hate it if the mare found her with this stallion. She had no clue what her caretaker would do to the stallion, and did not want to get him involved.

Jiibay noted that she didn't take all of the flowers from the same area let alone the same batch, he merely assumed that the goal was to collect as many various flowers as she could for this so called caretaker.
He was curious however at what kind of caretaker forced the mare into such silly task such as picking flowers and so forth. He understand why someone would want flowers but was there any reason to force someone else into believing they were worthless and then demand of them to pick flowers? It seemed rather extreme though this shouldn't have been confused with his own father's bitter ideas of disposing of the angeni raced that had cursed him so long ago. However, he was assured that there was just as much of a chance meeting the caretaker as there was meeting the mare again. Despite his promise he didn't believe that she would dare to come back again, no one really did that was.

When the mare finished gathering enough flowers, she paused for a moment feeling the sense of dread overcoming her being. She always dreaded going back to her caretaker, but she did not think she would know how to fend for herself if she were alone by herself. At least, that’s what her caretaker made her believe.
Placing her small bouquet of flowers down on a soft patch of grass, the mare raised her head to the stallion still looking rather shy in attempting to meet his gaze. “I-I have to go now.” She said softly, finding it hard to meet his gaze despite what he told her. “If I stay too long, she’ll find me… and I wouldn’t want you to get in trouble for talking to me.” She said softly. The mare rolled her bottom lip between her teeth before looking back up to him. “I’ll r-really try to visit you ... if I can… if that’s okay?”

Jiibay gave a nod though he had to admit he was pretty sure that if he did come across her caretaker that he wouldn't have much to fear if he did get in trouble with her caretaker. Not that he would find himself in need of hitting a mare however he couldn't imagine someone who in possibility her size really intimidating to him, his sister and father on the other hand were much more deserving of fear than some overbearing mare.
"I am not afraid of much however I do think it would be rather in bitter taste if I got you in trouble for talking to me since it was I who insisting on helping," he replied with a mere shake of his head. "As I said before you are more than welcome to return and or visit I am sure I will be around considering I do not have anywhere else to turn. Please be careful and safe however on your return to your caretaker despite myself having little fear I worry more or less something more threatening than me will be happy to hunt someone like you."

Nolens Volens offered the stallion a small smile, and nodding her head. “I will be extra cautious then.” She said softly, not quite sure if she were able to handle a situation if something wanted to hunt her. Trying to hide her nervousness and newly sprouted fear, the mare picked up the small bouquet of flowers and moved herself towards the direction she had came from. She glanced back to the stallion before disappearing into the underbrush.
