Gabriel Valiamont:
I will protect you.

Gabriel clambored out of the carriage following his sister. He fixed his green and gold coat, adorned with only the best cloth in the kingdom. He took a look around before sighing. A scowl returned to his face.

It could only be Lightning who would greet him. The man had no manners at all and acted like a child, more so than even Gabriel. The composed boy watching the adult fly his sister around. He definately didn't care about personal space either which only irritated the boy. Soon, upon getting out of the carriage, Lightning turned to Gabriel. The older man began to play with his hair and talk about nonsense. Gabriel ignored te idiot and kept by his sister.

"Rather talkative now are you?" Gabriel meant it as an insult but apparently Lightning didn't mind. However, he did notice that he kept glancing over his shoulder as if he were checking for someone. Probably Aunt Libi. She was always putting him on such a short leash.

Allison felt heavy pressure on her back at first Holy! she couldn't complete her thought as she was pulled up in the air, turned around to facing a man she saw more frequently when she was younger, and as she got older and ventured on her own she'd see him less, but either way he was still a family friend none the stranger. She didn't care for the grabbing and tackling, along with the love, it still left her confused and surprised, but when she was younger she'd laugh at the spinning. This time she felt a little stirred, and strong arms yanking at her body, but as she was sat down she still stared out confused and shook her head lightly as she heard him "Oh! Hey Lightning" she said, still a look of slight surprise, as she took a step over to her brother's side almost holding on, but decided against it. She was now a bit shy towards this place, but she spoke up after her brother with a faint, fake smile "Well, it's exciting to be here also, and I'm curious on the teaching. Where's Aunt Libi?" she questioned him. By exciting, she rephrased it to cover her anxiety rising at higher levels than needed, and her curiosity was true to wondering what hell thsi might be.

"Of course, I saw them just a while ago," he replied, recalling the memory of the twins. "It was a royal carriage I believe. I only saw the them for a few moments. Twins. Both gracelings. Maybe they're the king's children?" He didn't really care much about the matter of the new students anyway. The only reason he had even come back to the place he loathed so much was to see someone he loved wholeheartedly. Even if it meant risking himself (though he doubt the penalties were actually gruesome. Ethan just didn't like being scolded by the teachers if he got caught).

"Oh right I forgot," he suddenly said, digging around in his old brown shoulder bag. He produced a dried, withered rose that limped lifelessly. With his grace, the stem straightened itself to life. The dark wrinkled leaves lifted and restored its healthy green color. The crumbling petals bloomed voluminously. Now in his hand was a beautiful deep ruby rose, its light, sweet scent lingering gently in the air. Bowing politely as a gentleman should, he handed the flower to Fai. "For the 'Rose'~" he said with a cheerful grin.

|| sorry >.> quick post, I'm not supposed to be on~ ||

Fai listened carefully as he explained, so she wouldn't miss a detail. She figured it was either the two children of the king, or perhaps someone related to the king. But imagine! The prince and princess! Right here, that would be exciting. And the fact that they were both gracelings, was amzing as well.

But she was also a bit surprised when Ethan had something, she was once again curious, which will eventually kill a cat or two, for what may be in the bag. She wished to scowl upon the rose he dug up, but smiled, he did not know, he did not have to. She always... Frowned upon being called 'The Rose', roses hid one thing among another with overlapping petals, and thorns despite their beauty, harming those who come near. But she smiled, she thought to herself, If I wasn't called the rose, or made that association, I would accept it gladly. So, she pretended she was never called that in her life, nor how truly she found it to be, her description of a rose upon herself, everything she hid, talents, secrets, and truths.

But still yet, she was amazed with his grace, he could bring beautiful objects back to life, and she would always be appreciative of that. So she reached out and lightly took the rose from him, "Thank you very much, its wonderful." She held it gently, but she still felt the thorns lightly scratch against her skin. "Anyways," She changed the subject, she didn't want to think much more of it, "Do you think you'd get in trouble for greeting the new students?" She asked, "I'm really eager to do so, and..." She trailed off, "I do hope they can fit in and all, since others might treat them differently.

Libi had been held up in the front by two youngsters. They were maybe six, seven years old and they each looked to her for an answer to an argument. Once she'd told them who exactly had the right to walk through the hallway on the banister (That being no one) she descended the front steps to the school with a lithe sprint and brushed off her clothes as most would before meeting anyone they hadn't seen in a bit. Her eyes sparkled in the early sun as she passed the steps into the main hall and headed for the carriage Lightning had already greeted.

She heard the end snippet of the Princess's question as she approached, and her red tinted lips curved into a wide smile as she reached the small grouping that included the carriage driver, the prince, and the princess. Behind her were two guild members who burdened themselves with whatever needed to be taken off the carriage and placed in the sleeping quarters for the new arrivals. They'd probably already been briefed by Libi. She was always a step ahead.

"Aunt Libi is watching from a distance~"
She said, letting the last word flow off in an odd manner. She gave a half-curtsy, proper, at least, in the circumstances, and then watched the two men she'd assigned to the carriage task walk away with whatever the two had brought. They'd all be going to breakfast, so Libi saw no need to make more than one trip inside and outside in the morning if there was no need. The carriage driver handed her a letter which she took and slipped into one of the hems on her skirts.

"It seems like you've both grown since I saw you last, oh, it's good to have you here." The Matron seemed sincere enough, although when she glanced at Lightning she couldn't help but notice Gabriel's mused hair. No personal space... Libitina had always had personal space, and always given it to others, although that might have been part of growing up knowing she could produce poison from her fingertips. "Your parents, however, have bid us treat you as part of the guild, and so we really have a lot to teach you! A few trips to the castle here and there has barely let us teach you anything..."

Life could be rather shocking

Kaede was about to remark something 'dirty', usually a joke, to the two until Libi's voice piped in. He could usually figure out where people are or at least know when people are coming. He could pop into and out of exsistennce, not literally of course but he was quick. However, he could never figure out where Libi was ever going to pop up. She always seemed to catch him in the act. So, in fear of being scolded, Kaede froze momentarily. Libi seemed to not take notice of his immaturity and didn't bring the subject up, allowing Kaede to sigh in relief.

He relaxed a bit, watching the two with eager eyes before back at Libi. "Of course, what she really wants to say is that we're going to work you like dogs!" He exclaimed in a cheerful manner, as if the whole prospect was lovely. It wasn't, really, with what lessons and teaching the two and others would have to do just to try to catch up the two with everyone else. Usually the children here lived here their whole lives so they knew what and how the Guild functioned. He could only think of these two as newbies.

"Yup! You'll have so much fun being treated like everyone else," he commented once more. He was slightly sarcastic.Despite the irritation in his face, Lightning ruffled Gabriel's hair once more. The extra static electricty made the boys hair rise and Kaede chuckled at his prank. He watched at the silver haired boy patted down his hair grumpily.

Allison took a small step away from her brother in fear of being shocked, slightly aware of his Grace. The odds of liking to be here grew less as she crossed her arms staring at Lighting uncertain of him as the usual. She looked over at Aunti Libi "Well the guild could of been closer to the castle maybe..." she said, with a faint smile to show she didn't want to sound rude or anything, but she wanted to ask more of why the only two people with Graces that didn't seem very great, to be used. Allison knew her Grace was that of combat, but it was very hard to even see or prove since she couldn't see through the eyes of a normal. She was pretty sure she felt normal. Her brother's shields though, they were proven so easily. "Well it's fine to see you two aswell. I'm hungry though, and it's a bit early to start teaching isn't it?" she questioned them.

Ethan beamed when Fai accepted the flower, and a light pink hue colored his cheeks. As much as he tried to act like a casual friend to her, he couldn't help but blush at everything she did that he found attractive (which was probably everything, he had to admit). He began to wonder if he was ever going to tell her the truth. Afraid of what her reaction would be, he decided against it. 'I'll tell her soon, when it's the right time,' he would always say to himself. But will the time ever come?

He snapped back to reality when Fai began speaking to him again. "What? Oh right, the new students," he stumbled over his words, still in the process of clearing his head. "Well, it's highly risky. They're royal, so the Headmaster is probably around. He'll get me for sure. But...if you really want to, then...I'll gladly come with you."

Fai couldn't help but giggle a bit at Ethan, he always blushed so easily, she became easily accustomed to it. But she really lit up when he agreed to come, "Don't worry~ I'll just tell him I brought you over to try and convince you to come back, he can't get mad over that." She said, grabbing his arm. She began to march over to where she saw the carriage, it had rounded the corner right around... There! She just hoped the guild master was too busy to notice Ethan, so they wouldn't have to lie, but she would if she had to.

Letting go of Ethan's arm, she walked up to the guild master and gave him a slight bow, "Good morning! I saw there were some new students and came to help." She said, looking curiously over to the new students, and she couldn't help but to stare a bit. The girl was even more beautiful up close, she would probably become popular pretty easily, and the boy, looked just like her, execpt for one of their eyes, both had one blue one, while the boy had a green one and the girl a... Gray but, it had a tint of red to it, it was truly a pretty color. Subconsciously, Fai brought her hand to her eye, but quickly pulled it down when she realized what she was doing.

"I guess that could work," Ethan answered, though there was a slight hint of doubt in his voice. Before he could suggest a better lie, Fai had already took hold of his arm and pulled him along. The blush on his face deepened at the feel of her hand touching his. Despite the length of their friendship, he still couldn't get used to touching her or even looking at her without flustering. Soon enough, the Headmaster came into sight, along with the silver haired twins. Lightning seemed childish as usual, but he knew better than to judge the man by his appearance. His powers...he didn't become Headmaster for nothing.

He let his gaze travel to the boy with the look of irritation on his face. One eye a clear, cold blue, the other green. The girl seemed even more irritated than her brother, if that was possible. She had a slender figure. Lovely silver hair that fell down her back. One blue eye and another strange gray-dark colored eye. Ethan wondered what their graces were.

He looked over at Fai, noticing her hand go up tp her eye, then quickly pulled down. Was she comparing herself to the Princess? Indeed, the girl was pretty, but she did seem a bit spoiled...maybe self centered as well. Not a surprise, coming from someone who lived royally. He nudged Fai on the elbow, and gave her a smile. 'She's not better than you are...'

Gabriel Valiamont:
I will protect you.

Gabriel fumed, patting his hair down quickly. He frowned with distaste, knowing that Lightning did so to only make him feel even more agitated, if that were possible. He only teased because he found it funny to mess with him. That very reason only ticked Gabriel off. "I'll show you who's the dog," he grumbled under his breath. Lightning didn't seem to catch it.

Gabriel nodded with his sister. "Seems like we were to come straight here without any breakfast. Father wanted to kick us out that much," he said in a dreary tone. He felt displeasement towards his father. He felt he abandoned him and his sister. Like he left them for the Guild. Gabriel glanced away.

His sea green and icy blue colored eyes quickly found that of a set of deep blue and silver eyes. They seemed to have a hint of solemnity about them and Gabriel quickly got lost in them. He looked away, startled in himself. He watched Fai with a skeptic look, though with amusement. He very rarely had seen a person his age around. He and his sister didn’t get out very often. Curious about the girl, he stared for a moment. Eyes lingered on her before onto the boy. Gabriel stared intently on him as well.
A soft blue eye and a classic green eye. They seemed quite different from his own, which had a hard, glazed look over them. Gabriel’s blue eye was much more of a grayish, light, whitish gray that seemed to freeze over anyone with his gaze. The brilliant, bright hue of his eye was dominant of that over Ethan’s. That dazzling green eye of his was very outlandish compared to his milky, light green eye of soft green. Gabriel wondered what Grace the boy had. Even by merely looking at the other boy, he knew he wouldn’t get along with him. He looked away quickly, to Lightning.

Kaede chuckled at Gabriel's attempt to straighten out his hair. The boy was surely something. He looked at the ever so intelligent Allison, a mused look on his face. "Oh well, righty ho~ I think it's 'bout time we all get something to eat, now don't we?" He chimed, looking about at Libi before the twins.

Then to Fai and...Ethan. He gave a cheshire grin. "Well hello little one. Fai, merely your presence is all but needed. Now, introduce yourself to these...other children." Kaede failed to mention that the two were of royalty. He didn't want the two to be treated any different than regular students. "But first..." He leaned closely to her, his menacing violet eye glancing at Ethan. Lightning was known for such a look. "I want to know why you brang that...fall out in here? Or did he come on his own? Tell me the truth," he said. Kaede held Fai's chin with his hand gently, tilting her head up so that she looked directly at him. One thing was for sure, he hated liars. He tested Fai's honesty right then, his gaze perplexing. His grin was ever so wide.

Fai found herself letting her gaze wander around, eventually meeting the ice blue and sea green eyes again, she smiled and gave a little wave, then watched him look at Ethan, what was that look on his face? It wasn't the most pleasant look, but maybe the boy was just hungry, he said he didn't have breakfast. And yet... It wasn't long till she saw him then take a look in the Guild Master's direction, and her gaze followed.

Before she knew it she was looking square into deep, menacing gold and violet eyes. He questioned Ethan. She gulped a bit, but technically, if she said she brought him out there, that wouldn't be lying... But what frightened her the most was probably his grin, how he could smile like that like he was waiting for the chance to punish someone.

"I... I brought him here, dragged is a better word for it really." She said, she looked him in the eye, she started off a bit hesitant and frightened, but relaxed her shoulders and gave off a confident air, even if it was just an act, she hoped it was a believable act of bravery and... Honesty. She wasn't really lying, but the way he held her face, stared unpleasantly, and grinned like a mad man made her feel like she was.

Allison glanced at Gabriel, a look of concern as she knew he could hold nothing back. She wondering if he felt strong than she did, she wasn't the one to put her negative emotions out there. She knew they were in this together, and hearing there father ready to kick them early, she felt the same sting he did. She believed so. She let those worries fade for now. Allison liked the idea of eating, but as Lighting pointed out the two students of the Guild she looked at them as Gabriel did. A boy with the same hair, and almost the same color of eyes as her brother. He could of been related to them almost, Ethan truly caught her gaze for the longest. She then looked towards the girl, beautiful blonde hair with a gentle face. Seeing the actions Lighting took he looked angry, and it was towards the guy possibly, but he physically reacted towards the girl. Lighting was then scary towards Allison, and she could see the fear in the girls eyes. Allison wasn't smart now, as she walked over and grabbed the back of Lightings shirt gently to tug "Lighting your scaring her" she said, lightly frantic.

Kaede watched. Though it may have seemed like he could look right passed her or that he already knew the truth, in all actuality, he didn't. He was just testing the girl. However, the likeliness that she dragged him here was sort of unlikely. He was a very good judge of character and he knew of Ethan's, well, attraction. Most likely, the boy came on his own just to see the girl. "Are you so sure?" He asked, wanting to make sure. He wasn't going to do anything with her. He just wanted her to crack. If she didn't, well, Kaede would've thought it was the truth then.

A tug of his shirt made him bend back. He turned to see the young princess with an amused look before shrugging. "Now, was I really that scary? I was just trying to see if little Fai here was telling the truth. But if she's so confident and could really lie to the people that raised and taught her here, then, so be it. As for you," Lightning turned to Ethan. "Boy, if you have no business here, never come back." His voice was grave. Yet another look at the concerned look of Allison made him second guess his voice. He looked at Ethan again. "Fine, stay. But...if you want to see this girl again," oh how he ahted losing students, "then you must return to the Guild. Not only as a student but as my helper as well. That's punishment for running away and quiting and for trespassing. Is that okay Libi?" He gave her a cute look, like a puppy looking for assurance of that of their master.
