A black room. Silence. These were the two defining traits to the space that now enveloped Richter. A woman's voice could be heard ringing throughout this space...this void. Only five words came; those words combined to become one question.

"Will you restore the balance...?"

This obviously confused the man. A possible foe who didn't show themselves was quite obviously a threat. "Who are you?" His voice rang out throughout the space, yet the woman's appeared to be much more powerful.

"Will you..." The woman cut off in the middle of her sentence. Suddenly, two pink eyes pierced the darkness, sending a powerful light all over Richter's body. This pink light formed into a series of lines until a complete human body was formed. The brilliant flash of light--which the White mage had carelessly mistaken for an Angel's power up until now--was suddenly consumed in dark energy. The woman's lips curved into a smile as the area around them turned into a sea of pulsing, dark purple and black energy. "Forget that. The charade's over, boy." Her voice was nothing but pure evil, and yet the holy mage couldn't help but feel himself being drawn to her...drawn to her alluring power.

"Who are you?" It took all of the Adept Mage's willpower to remain standing in the face of this woman's power. He himself was still quite new to the basis of magic, but if he needed to fight, he most certainly would.

The woman observed his...will, and only chuckled. She held out a single hand; her right. "I...am Liliana Vess. The absolute and undisputed queen of black magic." She took a pause, and slipped on something that looked quite similar to a common day veil. the fact that her eyes turned a vibrant purple when she put it on alarmed Richter. "I've come to you with an offer, boy...be grateful. It's not something I do for most any creature, let alone another Planeswalker. I see...potential in you to do my bidding. Do you accept my offer?" Her hand began to swirl with intense, malicious energy as she held it out to him to shake. However, the man saw no other way out; this woman would most certainly kill him if he said no. And if his knowledge in Black Magic was correct, accepting her power like this would make her share his subconscious. All in all...not too bad of a trade for death.

He took her hand, and the blackness engulfed him.

Arihelia
Arihelia

Arihelia arrived to a different plane near a city, a wolf like
creature approached her when it sensed her, she knelt were she was and
the creature came up to her letting her place a hand on its head, "do
you know where I am?"
she asked as she looked at the city near by,
"I do not know what its called, I do not approach other
humans...you seem different"
she looked back at the
creature and gave a nod she stood up and the creature kept its eyes fixed
on her, she kept walking towards the city and the creature stayed where it
was "may I call you if needed?" she asked looking over her shoulder
the creature lowered its ears giving its approval, she then walked away
and entered the city.

Draven looks to the suspended mage and see's what he is doing. "Ever the persistent one aren't you, no fret however I'll just let you down now." He then points and the base of the wooden pillar and it begins to reseed back into the ground. Placing the mage back on his feet. Draven approach's him eying his current condition. Well, you are a little worse for ware. How about I do you a favor?" Draven places his hand on Ren's arm and a green light pulses out forming a small sigil. The image quickly dissapears into Ren's skin and he begins to feel soothed as his bones begin to adjust back into place. "Now.. don't misunderstand, I owe you for earlier and when you least expect it I will pay you back... Just so you know." Draven turns his attention back to Mokuzai..
"We will meet again, of that I am sure." He then turns and jumps up the wall, sprouting claws and sprints upwards on all fours clearing the top edge in moments.

Arihelia

She entered the city realizing it was bigger than what she first
thought, as she walked to the city she learned the name from some of the
merchants 'Ravnica' she felt the lingering of power in the city, as if battle had
happened not long ago, she got her cloak to cover her well enough from some curious eyes that stared at her clothes, strange no doubt to them.

Mokuzai continued to back up until his back touched his wall of vines, they enveloped him, and pulled him through the wall before immediately closing behind him. Mokuzai emerged from the other side back out into tin street. there were great cracks in the cobblestone where draven's beasts had landed and chased the guards off. The area was almost deserted, goods were strewn everywhere either by Draven's pets or by the fleeing merchants. Mokuzai sighed.
Despite everything, Mokuzai had forgotten his hat.
He shook his head and ignored the curious eyes of the straggling bystanders. this detour had been interesting, but hardly productive.
Mokuzai looked up the street and began walking, the consortium was a few minutes away. Mokuzai hoped he would be able to dodge prying questions about the disturbance on Tin Street. as he walked, the stench of the shadow mage and Draven left his nose to be replaced by another smell.
How many planeswalkers are in this city? He thought to himself as his nose identified the smell as sweet and flowery, but unmistakably planeswalker. He walked on, simply hoping not to meet this newcomer. He had things to do.

Draven healed Ren,

Why the ******** did he do that?

In Ren's confusion, the only thing he could think of to do was spit blood at the ground beneath Draven's feet. Ren glared at Draven before turning and walking away. He stuck up a middle finger to the departing Mokuzai before turning a corner.

Ren stood there for a minute. These men were far stronger than him. it pissed him off tremendously to come to that conclusion. He had never fought another planeswalker before. Were they really all that powerful? Ren turned and began walking further and further into the back alleys. whenever he found a staircase down, he took it. soon, all noises from the surface had ceased, the sound of dripping water and the occasional scream were all that could be heard here in the undersewers. The passage he was in opened up to a wide tunnel with a flowing river of piss and crap running though the center. Ren walked along the walkway beside the river, taking random bridges and turning random corners until he found himself completely lost. he continued on by the light of torches and manhole grates until he found a blade pressed to his throat. Ren grinned. Rakdos himself may have died, but his followers hadn't.

Draven has been jumping rooftops for some time now and finally comes to a large open roof, with what looks to be some atrium at its center. At closer inspection he can see that there is a garden within and a nicely tended one at that. "Great.. this is exactly what I need." He thinks to himself as he heads for the door and enters. Inside the atrium betrays its true size, it is quite large and filled with an abundance of plant life. Many of which turn towards Draven as he walks towards the center, as if heeding his presence.
He reaches the center wherein lies a large cobblestone circle with a vibrant flower bed. Draven kneels and places his satchel on the floor next to the circle and brushes aside some of the flowers to expose the soil. He channels vast amounts of primal life energy as the ritual calls for plenty. The surge of power makes all the plants lean in towards the center as he takes his hand and plunges it into the soil. "Return to me.. that which is mine." The energy pulses forward causing a large flower bulb to grow from the group, it pulses and grows larger with every passing moment. Only until it is half Draven's size does it stop growing and the bulb splits from the top revealing a luminescent glow that brightens the entire structure.
Draven reaches his hands in and begins removing object after object and placing them in his satchel. He keeps a mental note of all that he grabs.

First to come is a Cube, about the size of a fist its covered with etchings and arcane images that writhe as time passes. Then comes the Hilt of a sword with coloration's of red and blue it sheen's beautifully. Following that he grabs lastly a set of tools that seem for etching and glyph writing along with a large heavy coat as well as a strange glowing metal orb.

Draven places all in the bag aside from donning the coat himself. Waving a hand over the bulb it begins to shrink back and close. Hefting the now heavier satchel back to his side he moves from the atrium ever watchful of prying eyes.
Intent on heading deeper into the city...

Arihelia

Arihelia walked stopping from time to time on the small markets
on the streets she avoided a few of the more crowded streets and made sure
to hide her sword to avoid unwanted attention, she felt energy flowing in the
city, of more plain walkers, how many she couldn't tell for sure.

Somewhere in the heavily forested areas of the land, a black and purple rift opened above the ground. From it stepped a figure coated entirely in black. White chains hung from the sides of his long, trench-coat style jacket. Underneath that coat was his trusty blade--the likes of which had been tainted by Liliana as well. The new prodigy of darkness had a new master--one who would aid him in whatever he needed as long as he did what she told him to do.

"Remember..." Her voice echoed in his mind. "That your allegiance is to me first. You may make allies, but I will always be your master."

"I understand." Richter said aloud as he continued down the beaten path. Instead of walking, he decided on a better idea. After taking a short break to gather a small amount of White Mana, the boy opened a white, portal-looking space. From it flew a large hawk. The Bird was large enough to support a fully-grown human with extreme ease. What Richter had summoned was a Squadron Hawk. For now, he didn't need the rest of the Squadron. One would suffice. After getting on the hawk's back, the bird took off into the air toward the source of energy that had drawn Liliana's attention in the first place. It was Richter's supreme duty to disrupt this 'balance' that SHE was trying to attain--for even Liliana was not aware of just who this woman was--...she had given him quite a bit of power to do so. Before, he was an adept mage. Now...he could fight on par with any being of magic. Some for longer than others. Thankfully, the massive amount of heat generated by their battle had caused enough humidity from the flames for the sky to moisten, bringing about dark clouds and a rain storm. This allowed Richter to fly quietly and stealthily without being noticed.

Draven had made his way to a point in the city where he could almost not see the ground from his height. He could tell that there was once a battle in the area, but that it has passed long ago and there was no worry of being seen. Clamoring around the corner of one of the tall structures he see's a blasted opening in the side of a crumbling building. Thinking this to be a good area to start with he crawls inside between two collapsed beams.

The inside of the building was some sort of reliquary from what he could tell. Small shelves with little on them save for some items that had not been looted or destroyed. Entering, he can see that there was an inhabitant that didn't manage to escape. There body was almost reduced to bones now, picked clean by birds and whatever also scavenges this place. The corps wears a tether around the neck like a leash and its chest has two arrows sticking from it.
Draven bows his head and solemnly moves the body to a close corner.

He then sets about to cleaning the large room and setting things back to there place as well as up righting some of the tossed furniture. Finishing, he stomps a large hole in the center of the floor and reaches out his left hand over it. "With my blood I bring forth the essence of Yavimiya itself." He chants these words as he brings up his other hand, growing a singular claw he cuts the left palm. Dripping crimson the blood turns a shade of emerald green as it falls and lands in the hole. The whole structure begins to shake as the very core begins to draw in larges amounts of mana. Soon a large mass of moss bulges forth from the hole spilling out onto the main floor and a large sapling sprouts as well. Becoming a large overgrown tree that presses against the ceiling spreading roots everywhere. The roots fill cracks and straighten the seams of the walls as they settle in. By the time the spell is finished the entire room is a lush green with roots covering the ceiling and moss cover a large section of the floors center. Draven reserves himself to remove his boots and settle his bare feet into the lush green mass. Raveling in a feeling he has long since missed...

PostPosted: Thu Jun 02, 2011 10:19 pm

Mokuzai noticed a strangely dressed woman in the market. The scent of the planeswalker was upon her. He took note of her face, but made no action towards her as he passed on the other side of the bazaar. Mokuzai ducked into a wide, but hardly used alley. the towering walls to either side gave the place a feeling not unlike dusk. A large man was standing just outside a large, but unmarked, wooden door. He had a broad sword strapped across his back. But his arms were crossed lazily and he starred at Mokuzai as if they were having a staring contest. Mokuzai walked up to the man, not breaking eye contact, but blinking easily.
"hello, I am-"
"Who are you and why are you here?"
The brute cut in. Mokuzai's eyes flashed with annoyance. Despite his very best efforts, the guard's eyes twitched with suppressed fear.
"My name is Mokuzai Akarshi. I am looking for a man named Oboren, is he here?"
The brute slid a panel in the door open and whispered something though the slit. there was a pause, then the door was flung wide by a man in bright blue robes. The bald headed man looked at Mokuzai with awe.
"Mokuzai! By Razia, when did you get in? You should have told me you were coming! Does this mean you've reconsidered my offer?"
Mokuzai smiled, bowed and said.
"I regret to inform you that I respectfully decline, old friend. But that is not the reason I am here."
"Oh, pity, but do come in!"
Oboren lead Mokuzai into a grand study aria, and after the many pleasantries of meeting some old acquaintances at the consortium. Mokuzai began prying to use the Restricted Library, Oboren paled at the mention and tried to steer the conversation on to other things, but as time went on and Mokuzai persistently guided the topic back to the library Oboren broke.
"Ganot is away and I am not permitted even to open the library! what do you need in there that is so important?"
"I need information about some people I met and a thing I saw!"
Mokuzai joked, lower ranking consortium member didn't even know planes outside of theirs existed.
"And you know as well as anyone that I could get into the library easily. Just make sure no one notices."
The door enchanted!
mokuzai gave him a look.
If anyone catches me near the library I'm dead.
"No one will see you"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mokzuai broke the enchantment on the door lock easily, and re-worked the enchantment so as not to alert the owner of the spell. Oboren shuffled nervously.
"They may not be able to see you, but they can still hear you."
Mokuzai muttered to the invisible Oboren before slipping inside the library and shutting the door noiselessly behind him.
Draven had finally manage to finish his new home, he placed spells and glyphs around to ward against unwanted guest. The building itself though not secluded from allot was high up and not easily accessible. Just the way he liked it.
He made his way to the base of the tree in his quarters and removing his gauntlets he sat at its base. "Time to get a better look at my new home" He thought as he pressed his back against the tree and vines started to entwine him slowly. He concentrates primal energy from his body directly into the tree causing it and himself to glow slightly. Draven closes his eye.. but his vision does not end with that. He gazes down upon himself now, as if each of the leaves was an eye in itself. Through sheer will he presses his vision forward out of the structure and into the city. Gaining no insight from this he widens his gaze to encompass as much of the city as he can. To his surprise he is envisioning a larger more vast city then he could imagine. Even at his peek he cannot see the end of the skyline or the lowest bridge. Even the glade he managed to land down in was nothing more then a vast dome to a larger structure.
That is until he finds something that interest him.. a woman. She is strange looking and familiar looking at the same time. He hair and adornments are hard to place for Draven. Until she turns directly towards his view.. "Allara!!" Pulses throughout his mind and a giddy smile flashes across his face. "I knew someone was here.. my she is a cute one. I might have to introduce myself.."
But before his mind could finish day dreaming he saw something dark. Focusing his attention to a circular tree line not far from an open field. He came upon an impression of dark mana, stamped into the ground by a very potent force. Even though the source had left he madly searched from area to area around the location until he came to the conclusion that whatever it was is gone now. Angered he ended the trance and stood as the vines pulled away. He re dons his coat and gauntlets as the roots spread a large hole in the wall. Draven leaps out to the world in search of this taint..
Within about half an hour upon the others' arrival, Richter found himself at the gates to the same city. The guards stopped him, but it would be their downfall. The familiar lines of Liliana's dark power formed a dark purple hue up his arms; unlike his master, he was unable to completely harness the full powers of her darkness. What he did have was most definitely on par with even the strongest of fighters in the city. She had made sure of that. As the guards moved to stop him, he placed his palms on their foreheads. Their faces contorted as the dark mana completely obliterated their feeble human minds. Unfortunately, there was a spell that Richter had to make it appear that nothing was wrong. Using his dark mana, he used a 'Grave Resurrection' spell to raise them from the dead and stand guard. They were now his minions.
'Good...' Liliana's voice echoed in his head. 'I detect...presences...in the city. Ones that you may have to worry about. I can feel only one of them well. It's very close. Keep on your toes.'
The man merely nodded as he saw what Liliana was talking about. A single man stepped out from the gates, seeming to be searching for something...or someone. It seemed fairly obvious that the man was searching for him. The Squadron Hawk circled high in the sky, waiting stealthily for its master's command to strike.
"Who are you?" Richter spoke, malevolence and foul intent practically seeping from his tone. One of his hands was rested on the blade inside of his trench coat in a way that the rival mage wouldn't be able to see. Thankfully, he would be ready to react on a dime; the blade was already seeped in black mana.
'You've learned quickly...take this one down, and then proceed into the city. Try not to make a mess....though I won't blame you for doing so.' The woman's dark chuckle didn't take him off focus at all. Liliana had blessed him with a great many gifts in exchange for his servitude. In his mind, it wasn't a bad trade.
Arihelia
Arihelia saw a planewalker pass near her "So that's
one
.." she thought in the intent of keeping count of the
planeswalkers in the city, as she kept walking she sensed magic coming
from a point of the city, "that's got to be another one.." he was
using and bending nature to it's will so she could notice this quickly as she
looked at the high place she sensed the power coming from, and
something suddenly disrupted her line of thought, it was a dark energy,
completely opposed to hers, she felt the energy close, probably inside the
city...
Draven clawed his way from building to building soon making it back to where he could see the ground from his height. But it also strikes him that he is near the area he met the other two planes walkers from earlier. Stopping, he comes to a rest on one of the adjacent buildings. Standing there he began to search the area for any sign of this new force. Nothing catches his attention save for some murmuring of the crowds below... then it catches his eye. A large bird in the distance, not like any bird he's seen here yet. The bird moved as if waiting for kill but it was completely off to him.
Quickly coming to his senses about the situation he places his fingers to his lips and lets out a loud whistle.. it only takes a few moments till the sound of granite clacking can be heard closing its distance. It turns out to be one of the statues from earlier and Draven looks at it sternly.. "What happened to the other?" He asked.. To which the statue only lowered its head and gave a muffled sound. "Ah.. he was caught, well no matter because we have other worries. You see that hawk over there?" He describes as he points..
"I want you to investigate what it's investigating.. now go." With that order the statue bucks back and launches itself off the building towards the gates while Draven kneels and produces a pipe from his bag.
"Now this should be interesting."
