Tybalt was growing tired of the fog, tired of this trip, tired of everything! With a fog as thick as this, he couldn't even see past his nose! It made him feel as in capable as a pup and just as vulnerable.
These feeling worsened when the cloaked figure appeared. Clearing enough of the fog for all of those nearby to get a good view of the man.
"That has got to be the creepiest hobby..." He commented as the man revealed a row of skulls collected together on a single strand of string; creating a hollow sound, almost like wooden wind chimes as they knocked against one another. It wasn't a sound he liked and was enough to make the black dog shiver. He had seen some bizarre collections in his time... but skulls? They didn't look to be animal skulls either. Which meant that either this guy was a grave robber, or those were the skulls of his past opponents. Either way, he didn't like the sight of them or this man.
"I'm not miserable, thank you very much!" He replied, as he gripped the rusty pipe and prepared himself to attack. "Or rather, I wasn't up until we landed on this shitty island of yours." He finished with a growl. Lunging forward and whipping the pipe directly at the figures head; cursing a little when it struck.
These weapons sucked...

Calder had been on the mountain. Then again, for all he knew, he still was. He had been looking around for Christof and wandered off. Though he felt he could easily navigate in the fog, this was just something else entirely. Soon he was wondering which way was back and tried to turn around and move back to where his friends hopefully were. What happened instead was that he entered with a group of other students and was looking at one of those cloaked figures from the supplies tent. This one wasn't as charming as the first, but at least he wasn't on the phone or flipping tables. Still, the idea of taking his bones wasn't exactly a nice upgrade as far as mysterious persons went.
Frowning, he looked at the knapsack that Christof left and reached in for his book. He really wanted to just read it, but it was all he had that could hit the guy. Thinking back, he knew he wasn’t much of a fighter, but he wanted to live long enough to read this book and hopefully find the special someone of his dreams. Skull removal really made a future hard.
Breathing in deep to steel his nerves, the kelpie moved in and took a swing.

It was all this damned fog's fault. All of it; how was Gabrian even supposed to know that setting LW down on the ground and wandering off to the side to inspect what had looked like potential food and shelter... hid downfall? He hadn't really expected that walking away a few feet from his group of friends would find him lost. There was something unnerving and unnatural about the thick fog that covered the whole island, and the nix was beginning to think that the fact he'd gotten lost in it was no coincidence. He just honestly couldn't begin to understand how he's managed to get himself lost when he'd only walked away a few few. Wouldn't Ren and the other have logically heard him calling out for them if this Jack damned fog had been anything but strange?
He was now feeling grumpy, upset and rather scared, which... were contradictory emotions, granted, but in his defense, the demon was doing all he could to replace his fear with anger. Anger was much more manageable than fear and concern, both for himself and his friends.
The clatter instantly caught Gabrian's attention and he stiffened up, gripping his wooden sword for dear life as he tried (and failed) to squint through the fog. Thankfully, the cloaked figure soon enough created an ample circle, large enough that the could now see other students around him, and idly... he found himself wondering just how many students had been lost, padding around in the thick, obviously unnatural fog. Despite the fact the figure was beckoning them forward, Gabrian was too busy looking around the crowd in an attempt to spot familiar faces to be of much help. At least for now. Besides, he highly doubted his stupid wooden sword would be very effective anyhow.

Raziel had been preparing to go off exploring into the bushes when the fog lifted slightly. He turned around to see other students crowding around an area where the fog was gone entirely. In the center of the area stood a cloaked figure, who was speaking at them. Raziel couldn't make out what the figure was saying, but by the tension in the area, he assumed it wasn't good news.
When the figure swept his arms and caused all of the fog to disappear, Raziel was frozen for a moment, left undecided about what to do. As other students went forward to attack the stranger, Raziel slowly came back to the present.
With a grunt, he rushed forward, wielding his wooden sword. He Aimed at where he suspected the shins of this stranger were. Although he wasn't sure what he hit, he knew he hit something, he could feel it as the wood contacted another hard material.

Damn fog. Damn cloaked guy . . . what was UP WITH THIS ISLAND?! Eyes narrowing, the lightning dragon edged around to one side and then screamed out the new 'battle cry' he had learned back on the boat.

He was alone. Alone. And he did not like it one bit at all.
Somehow, in some way or another, Ren had gotten separated from the rest. He had set Alessa down to let her find some herbs, taken a few steps away, and suddenly he was nowhere near them. It felt as if he had been wandering for hours, blindly groping through the muggy fog, as thick as syrup. Close to a panic attack, Ren closed his eyes briefly, drawing in a shaky breath.
When he opened them again, he wasn't alone. And he certainly wasn't safe.
"What the Jack - "
That figure was unrecognizable, and he (Or she. Or maybe just it.) was advancing towards him. With an angry snarl, mixed with desperation and frustration at being separated from the rest of his friends, Ren gripped the old wooden bat in his hands and gave a heaving swing, feeling it connect with something. It gave a quite satisfying whack, though Ren was not entirely sure how much good it would do him.

Christof was exhausted, and trembling, his nerves still wracked from the attacking Reaper ((BATTLE TO BE CONCLUDED)). By the time he had made sense of things and managed to beat the thing into a pulp (Whether or not this is what actually happened is another story) his entire party had vanished into the fog. Where was everyone? It was thicker than ever now, and he was shivering in the cold. Undead and extreme temperatures were not a friendly combination. It was making him sore, clumsy and irritable. For a moment he thought he saw a whisk of Calder's white hair, but no, it was just a fern rustling in the fog. He sighed. So they had just left him for dead? He sagged, looking depressed. They really did all hate him, didn't they?
His depressed, angsty teenagery thoughts were soon replaced by surprise as yet another hooded figure approached. Through the dense fog he could dimly make out other shapes as well- had he found everyone? Peering closer, it seemed to be an odd winged Lion-Boil, and while ghoulish, was not Calder at all. Candlejack! Sluggishly, he managed to get a grip on what the cloaked figure was saying, and it did not help matters in the least. He grabbed his Trusty Rusty Pipe, stepping forward with a glower. He had had quite enough of these haughty attackers, thank you!
Taking a swing, though, he caught nothing but fog. Oh no. It was going to be another one of THOSE battles, wasn't it?

Stumbling around, Israfel had never been great with directions. In fact, he was sure he sucked at them, like a great suck bird of Suckton McSuckage from sucky suckfest in Suck town. As he found himself stumbling, the weight of sand and mud on his pants was becoming annoying. It was like having to carry an overly clingy minipet attached to his leg. (He might have had experience with that).
Then. "OH CANDLEJACK." Israfel's eyes widened at the towering figure. Fumbling with his knapsack, he fished out the sword hilt. Oh jack why didn't he pick something better? It was too late. Drunken hazzy half memories of Christmas came back in flashes.
He hoped it didn't end up like some of them.
Still, gathering his courage, he ran forward, hit it once, then ran to hide. It seemed like as good a battle plan as any.

Sepheran didn't know how long it was since he had gotten hit by the fog. Everything seemed to dull as he tried to figure out what was going on. He was surprised however to suddenly find blurry figures through the dense mist. Wait...a cloaked figure?
Sepheran instantly pulled up his wooden toy sword having already experienced a fight with one of the mysterious cloaked beings once already. He hissed light as he listened to it's ramblings.
Stepping forward Sepheran took his own swing a the figure, it was obvious if he didn't attack first the other would. He wasn't friendly. Hitting his target Sepheran quickly jumped back readying for an attack.

Alessa had been digging up some roots to eat when the fog rolled in. At first she didn't mind it, thinking of it only as a change of weather, and continued to move her fingers through the dirt until she pried the root free. Once she did, though, and straightened, her friends were gone. The hair on the back of her neck stood up. The fog thicker than a cloud around her and it felt unnatural.
Suddenly a figure appeared. The way he fingered his string of skulls set off her rabbit instincts. This was not a friend by any means. When his threat was finally clear by his words, she tensed. She didn't think she could fight very well in this state, but she would do her best. The fog left little room for flight. She swung at him with her tree branch, by missed. She stumbled a few step backwards after in hopes of at least getting out of the line of fire, so to speak.

There were a few more voices about them now that Aksaja recognized - he was particularly glad to hear Riley and even Israfel, since he knew those two. Hmn, well this enemy didn't seem to be doing much of anything but standing there so far.
So! Time for another attack! With a wild yell, the lightning dragon swung his pipe again.
However, the fog made him completely miss a root on the ground and Aksaja tripped over the damn thing with a cry. Blinking, he found himself face-down on the ground, practically eating sand. Ouch.

Savior had been with West, or so she though, but then . . . well.. . . now she was with others and they were all trying to attack something? Whatever it was seemed to be giving them grief and people were unhappy about it and then. . . well, West!
West was attacking it!
If West was attacking it then Savior would too since it seemed like the logical thing to do. Gathering in hand the rusty pipe she gave a good swing at the whatever it was before scattering backwards, not wanting to see what would happen.

She was going to try and blame a certain nix demon for this. Since he had set her down in the first place. The she-wolf had not thought it a good idea for any of them to walking around alone, even if only a few feet away. So she'd gone to follow.
And wound up here. Wherever here was. And what the JACK was that thing?! Just great. Next time, she wouldn't move from whatever spot she was set down in. And the thing smelled funny. Her nose wrinkled as her hands curled around the wooden table leg tightly. She could hit that, right? RIGHT! LW really wanted to hit something. Especially after the trip on the jack damned boat.

Grumbling under his breath (with many, many 'creative' words), Aksaja got back up to his feet and spat out sand. "Stupid . . . . Jacking . . . thing . . . "
Then, he ran at the cloaked figure again, pipe raised. "DIE!!" Not that it did any good. Remind him to use the Calamari battle cry the next time . . .

ROUND 2: Total HP remaining: 51
"Owww!"
It wasn't too clear whether the figure itself or the students were more surprised at the damage done. The intruder trembled, and suddenly crouched on the ground, rocking itself back and forth. "They can hit me? They can hit me, it hurts, it hurts, it hurts." It looked up again the offensive crowd, suddenly tilting its head sideways. "Can you .... see me?"
The question seemed spoken in a genuinely confused manner, as if the figure suddenly had a moment of lucidity. Just a small second, before they suddenly stood up again, shaking their head. "Nothing, nothing, just me, I'm scary yes, I am Fear yes, yes."
- And suddenly the figure were standing not feet but mere inches away from the closest students, staring them right in the face with its hollow black hood. "I am Fear, I AM FEAR, I AM FEAR. AND I WILL KILL YOU."
Fancy words for a slightly deranged character as it suddenly disappeared, yet again. And with the disappearance came the sudden onslaught of the fog, with one unique exception: a strange grating shrieking sound, muttering nonsensical words, laughing and screaming in the mist. They were close, very close.
((OOC:
RULES: ROUND 2: - The FOG is back! You can't really see around you, but you need to attack the stranger! - Roll TWO eight-sided dice. The first is the damage you do the opponent the second is the damage you do to the person below you. - For example: I roll a 4, and a 5. I will do 4 damage to the boss, and 5 damage to whomever rolls below me. I will also, in my post, calculate the damage done to me by the person above me, and rp it accordingly. - In the event that someone posts before you could get your post in, simply edit your post to reflect the person above you. - The fog is THICK, so it may be hard to see EXACTLY who hit you, but it doesn't not prevent you from seeing bits of them...! - PLEASE ONLY ATTACK ONCE THIS ROUND ))
