Kiriko had waited diligently until she had determined no one was tailing her before she headed in the location that she had felt Emiya in earlier. Aura sensing wasn't an exact sense, so it took a little bit of guess and check to get her exact location. After a little while of trying, Kiriko found that Emiya's aura was strongly radiating from a little hut in the middle of a lake. She stopped at this location, just at the edge of the lake, but among the buildings to conceal their location to any preying eyes. She put down Kuzumi, who was flustered from having his face pressed against his teacher's sideboob. Straightening himself out and shaking off impure thoughts, Kuzumi looked up to Kiriko and opened his mouth to speak, finding it easier to do now that he was not around a bunch of other strange people. "Amahara-sensei, why are we here? What's so special about this lake? Shouldn't we be in hiding, what with-" He was silenced, rather abruptly, when Kiriko put her hand over his mouth. Stunned, the young man fell silent, instead focusing his attention on Kiriko who was shaking her head now. Kiriko was rather surprised, she had assumed Kuzumi to a bit more spiritually aware, at least to the point he could sense Emi when she was around. Although, it was possible his untrained senses were being warped by the other presences inside the hut.

"Look." She responded calmly, removing her hand from his mouth and pointing it in the direction of the hut. From where they were standing, they could see directly into the structure via the window, and there in his direct line of sight was Emiya. Instinct took over and Kuzumi moved to go to her without considering the fact that there was a lake between him and his love. "Kuzumi-kun, no!" He was not quicker than Kiriko, who moved to grab and tug him back into the shadows by his collar, but his movement and her accidental outburst alerted two Onmitsukidō of their presence who were upon the both of them in and instant. Taking a defensive stance, Kiriko reigned in Kuzumi and moved him back while three slips of paper dropped down her sleeve and landed in her hand. She didn't want to attack until they did, especially not after how that Captain reacted when she defended herself. If she did anything rash, it would only make the situation even worse. Biting her lower lip, Kiriko waited for the two silent individuals to make their move.

Emiya recoiled nearly the instant Nu began speaking to her, her tone was so harsh and loud that she didn't really know how to react. Her first instinct was to calmly wait it out, and since she was diligent, she was able to do so, even when Hei joined in the fray. Being buffeted by words on both sides, Emi remained silent, head pulled back in mild surprise as she worked to split apart their overlapping statements, then put them back together. "I apologize for my misinterpretation, but I have a name, and it's not "human." She was not going to delve into that issue any further, but she felt it a little rude to be referred to her by her race simply because the person addressing her was unaware of her name. Emiya certainly expected better manners out of someone who looked twice her age, especially considering the courtesy she had already extended, albeit the timing was poor, in referring to her as "ma'am" instead of something rude like "Shinigami." Shrugging it off, she couldn't help but catch Hei explaining everything to Nu, notably how he stressed her name to the female, which was good considering she had forgotten to in her annoyance. Then he mentioned believing her story, yet not being able to prove it except with the use of drugs. Was that to mean pharmaceutical drugs, illegal street drugs or something far more colorful? Honestly, she didn't really want to be in a situation where she found an answer to that question. While absentmindedly stroking the hair of the child in her lap, she remained terse while wondering just what he had meant. She did not, however, want to ask or even start talking again since she got in trouble last time.

Whatever the reason, her attention and interest in the subject was lost when she felt a familiar presence, or rather two familiar presences, neither of which she expected to feel here. Especially not after gathering her thoughts and understanding the significance of the doors, the tunnel with the moving walls, and the train. They were clearly meant to keep people out, and she could understand how she had made it there, simply because she had the necessary skills to do so. Thus, their appearance was all the more confusing. As soon as she had felt them arrive, Emiya snapped her head in the direction of the window, peering across the lake and into the cluster of building around it. She spotted Kuzumi and her teacher almost immediately, and if Kuzumi being here now didn't shock her, Amahara Kiriko standing there with great confidence sure did. It was initially unfathomable; she had known her teacher was, well, different, but not to this extent. The woman was not even close to being frightened at her surroundings, which is more than the teenager could say about herself. Another significant thing she noticed was just that; her teacher was confident, standing bold unlike anyone had ever seen the woman before. What had happened to the meek, mousy woman she watched bustling the halls of their school, too timid to say anything to jerks who bumped her in the hallway? Emiya, still not quite understand exactly what was happening, gently lifted Tsukiko's head from her lap and placed it on the pillow next to her, then slid out of bed to go greet him. She stopped, however, mid-step when she noticed something else moving out of the corner of her eye, and swiveled her head to catch the sight of two ninja-looking individuals place themselves between her and Kuzumi. Her protective instinct for her boyfriend kicked in instantly, completely disregarding the fact that she had already witnessed those people being under the control of the man six feet away from her.

Her eyes widened in anger, the muscles around them constricting to reflect her emotion and desire to take action immediately. For a second, she seemed to stall as if trying to figure out if she wanted to go through with it or not, but in reality she was sizing them up through the window while all of her combat experience surfaced in her mind, taking her over and directing her movements. As she took a second to do so, the ring on her left pointer finger suddenly changed into an ivory hilt with a short protrusion where a blade should have been. Before it could slide off her hands, she grabbed it with her thumb and flipped it it around her pointer finger and into her palm. In an flash, she snatched up Yūnagi from the bedside and dashed out of the door, paying no mind to her ankle, even though it was fully healed now. As soon as she was out of the door, she erased the sounds her body made and stepped out into the lake, which solidified beneath her feet instead of freezing. Emiya rushed towards the group of four without making a single sound and as she did so, she shifted her body, lowering her left hand to the ground, dipping Shisui's protrusion into the water. As soon as it made contact, Emiya rose back up, creating a ribbon-like stream of water running from the lake to Shisui's tip, which was quickly forming a blade of water. A second later, as Emiya was closing in on the two, the blade was fully formed, taking the length of a regular katana, yet had a blade made out of clear water. In an instant she was standing between the Onmitsukidō, the upper part of her face cast in shadow and her blades crossed in front of her, Yuunagi's blade to the neck of the one on her left, and Shisui's blade to the neck of the one on her right. "Don't move." Upon hearing Emiya's voice laced with such anger, Kuzumi recoiled; he had never heard her speak like this before. Her demeanor was a different story, he remembered that she used to put off this very vibe several years ago, long before she let anyone into her life.

"Back off and no one gets hurt." She meant it, she was well prepared to injure the both of them to the point they wouldn't be able to fight ever again, much less resist her right now. "Im-impossible." The left one stammered, breaking his facade of seriousness the instant he found a teenage girl holding a blade to his throat, having snuck up on him like it was nothing. His pride as a member of the Onmitsukido, a group prideful of their stealth and assassination skills, was shot because he had allowed this to happen. Now she was threatening him, but he did not want to comply, and instead desired to redeem himself by subduing her whether it meant killing her or not. The other seemed to feel the same way, as they both vanished on the spot at the same time, backing up to get distance between her and them before countering. Emiya, angered beyond all belief at their unwillingness to listen, lowered her hands, dropping her weapons to the side as she listened carefully for their movements. Her body loosened, ready for the most fluid of movements at the drop of a hat. She flipped Yuunagi over in her hand, proving she had no intent to use lethal force, and in an instant, activated Raimeiken in Yuunagi, and Reitōken in Shisui, and flicked both weapons backward as the two closed on on her from her right and left. The end result was that both fell to the ground, one taking an electric shock to his body that caused his muscles to contract and his body to go stiff, while the other had his leg frozen at the hip due to a gash sustained by her frozen sword. "I tried to warn you..." Emiya glanced backward, assuring herself the two were down for the count, and then deactivated both of her weapons. Her attitude shifted almost instantly, and before Kuzumi could even react to her cold-hearted attack on them, she jumped into his arms happily squeaking to be reunited with him once more. Unsure of how exactly he was supposed to react to his girlfriend effortlessly striking down two individuals who seemed to be very skilled, Kuzumi simply caught her and then forced a smile before warming up to her through her touch alone. Pretty soon, he seemed to be put at ease, simply because he was glad to see that she was okay and unharmed, though not in the same clothes he had last seen her in.

Jogging through the streets, Jose couldn’t help but feel on edge and he found himself ready to whip out Pistola at a moment’s notice. Though given the fact that they were basically in enemy territory, that kind of attitude was quite expected. But it wasn’t only their current circumstances that put him on edge, the entire area around them, the streets, the walls, and the towers in the distance were completely in ruins. He had heard that the residents of this… dimension had recently emerged from a war, so it was understandable for their buildings to be missing a few floors here in there. But the power it would’ve taken to cause such destruction was disquieting to imagine. The most powerful attack he had seen so far in his life was a Cero fired from a Gillian class hollow, and even then it was only powerful enough to cause the ground it crashed into to crate upon impact. For such destruction on this wide a scale, it must’ve took an entire army of Gillians, thinking back as to how difficult it was to slay just one, Jose shuddered at the thought.

But, to think that the so-called Shinigami were able to emerge from such a war victorious, Jose felt a tinge of fear race down his spine when he began to imagine what power they wielded. He was able to fight one of them, and even then he was having difficulty whereas she seemed to have been simply toying with him. To add to that, the other one was able to bring him to his knees without even breaking a sweat, and the other was capable of binding him with a cloth that was stronger than steel. He imagined what would have become of him if Kiriko-sensei hadn’t rescued him, and he felt even more ashamed of himself.

However, his train of thought was interrupted as they seemed to near a pond in the middle of a large expanse of grass, and of course debris. And, in the middle of the pond was a penthouse, of sorts, or a cottage rather. Drawing closer, while still making sure he wasn’t straying too far from Kiriko-sensei, Jose strained his eyes to make out the figures in the distance. Then, when he finally realized who they were, his face shone up with excitement ”Ah! Kiriko-sensei! It’s Hiiragi! And… that guy you were with… and you.” Jose’s voice trailed off as he scratched his head out of embarrassment ”Er… so, should he go there or something? Shouldn’t you reunite with yourself, or something?” Jose commented, faintly laughing.

It seemed as though they had explained themselves well enough and as Hei took Senka, he was surprisingly kind enough to explain himself. "Ah, I ...see" Staring back at this Emiya-chan, she supposed she could believe her. What would she gain by lying to them? Her questions would go unanswered as the girl seemed to snap into attention, staring through the open window. Taking her lead and staring as well, she could see more unfamiliar faces, inwardly groaning at the level of security, which was partially her fault. As Emiya rose to greet the newcomers, she seemed to have noticed a few members of the Onmitsukidō that the other humans must have alerted. With surprising reflexes on her part, Emiya was already out the door, but not before Emiya somehow transformed her ring into a hilt of some sort. Before Nu could inquire more, Emiya was already out the door, looking through the door revealed the girl running across the water to help defend the other humans.

By now Nu had many questions to ask. How was this girl running on water? How did she do that with her ring? And why is her sword, with closer examination, made of water? But all of those questions wouldn't be answered now, for the main point is; her men were outclassed. She would feel more shame for her own subordinates if not for the fact that the human who did was exhibiting rather strange powers. "Hei, regular humans do not have that kind of power. What is she?" Leaving the small house in haste to check on her men, it seemed yet another oddly dressed human has come. Why was their security for that damn thing so poor?! Seeing how the two were not in any life threatening conditions, she stood from her kneeling pose on the water, staring at the odd mashup of characters, for a better glance. One looked like a regular teenage boy, and judging from Emiya's warm embrace, her possible boyfriend. Another was a rather skinny individual in a fur trimmed overcoat, the newcomer. The most mature of them all came in the form of a rather attractive woman in glasses. Though now she seemed pretty meek, only moments before were her gaze hardened to defend the boy from her men with.....paper? This was going to need sorting out.

Her hands left palms forward unclenched, in the universal sign of peace, she approaches the group ever slowly. The girl has proven herself to have well above normal human reflexes and there were still others there who most likely had powers as well, better to establish some sort of footing before getting herself in a undesirable situation. "Excuse me! I am Nu Naohito, Captain of Division 2 of the Gotei Thirteen, and I would like to confirm your statuses as "humans." Unless humans have suddenly evolved in the past years, these were not normal human beings, and Hei must want to know about these, if he didn't already.

It appeared that even though she was prepared to take care of the two Shinigami that had approached them, it was unnecessary to do so as Emiya was well on her way. In hindsight, Kiriko should have predicted Emiya would feel Kuzumi's presence faster than anyone in the Soul Society, having been unnaturally attuned to his aura for the better part of the last five years. Nonetheless, Kiriko did not follow the girl with her eyes, lest the two in front of her catch on, but instead watched on curiously through her frontal and peripheral vision when necessary as Emiya snuck up on the two and threatened them both with a sword to their necks. Kiriko had known Emiya had improved since she could consciously feel her aura every day at school, but the extent of her reflexes and swordplay were unknown to her since she always seemed to be holding back during the practices Kiriko had watched. When the two did not heed her warning, Kiriko had to strain her eyes to catch Emiya's swift defeat of them, lest she blink and miss it all. Seconds later, as they dropped to the ground behind her, she proceeded to glomp her confused boyfriend, and squeal her happiness to see him. Her mood change from anger to happiness made the teacher inwardly chuckle, as it reminded her of one of her friends during her time in High School.

The papers in the teacher's hand receded into her sleeve, joining the rest of them in the journal sitting in her coat pocket, and by this time, Kiriko eased up. She did not need to look over to feel her other self approaching, but nevertheless she did acknowledge it by lifting a finger in it's direction and flashily causing it to vanish in the middle of Jose's sentence, not even allowing the fake a chance to respond to him. With the duplicate's destruction, all of it's memories and experiences latched onto the real Kiriko and were absorbed into her body so that she could see where they had been and what they had been doing. Around this time, Nu had come out to apparently discuss their race classification, a seemingly unnecessary action in her opinion, but given her preference for avoiding a fight, Kiriko chose to speak on the other's behalves. "If not human, what else would we be?" The older woman pressed up on her glasses to adjust them once more, and looked to the side as the remaining six duplicates of herself and Jose arrived in the same manner as the first two. She wasted no time causing the destruction of the twelve individuals, allowing all of their memories and experiences to flow into her, which provided quite the detailed layout of most of the Seireitei that was now being pieced together in her head as she began to speak again. "Yes, we are human. And I speak for all of us when I say I would like to go home. I apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused, but know that the safe return of this girl was our only objective, nothing more." With this, she rested a hand on Emiya's shoulder to indicate that she was referring to her, mostly because Kiriko was unaware of Nu's knowledge of the situation at hand. It seemed to her that their communication was not at it's best considering Emiya was quietly and safely in the presence of one captain and some other man, but others were willing to take Jose to prison. "I'm not asking for assistance, because I do believe I can get out the same way I got in, I just ask to not be interfered with is all."

[Ugendō - edge of lake]

Having been reduced to soft, schoolgirl giggles once he had reciprocated her affectionate glomp by catching her, Emiya returned the favor once more by planting kisses along the base and side of his neck. He was torn between excitement and the embarrassment of catching quite a large about of PDA from his girlfriend while in the presence on his teacher. The two groaning Onmitsukidō did not make it any better, nor did the approaching Jose whom he did not expect to see here. Yet, try as he might, he couldn't bring himself to make her stop, likely because he was just glad that she was safe. Thus, despite his misgivings for the timing of her affection, his expression maintained his enjoyment of it and his arms still held her upper body in place while she held her lower body in place with her legs around his waist. Eventually, when Emi sensed Nu approaching, she ceased her affectionate nibbling of his ear and let herself down onto the ground, straightening out Yuki's shirt and shorts before turning red and glancing at the ground where her discarded weapons lay. She had nothing to say to Jose, mostly because she didn't really know him that well and also had no idea why he was here.

Hearing her teacher talk about they had come to rescue her, most everything made sense now. However, she wasn't entirely certain about actually needing rescuing; be it a twist of fate or not, she had managed to gain an ally and not get herself killed. Even without Kiriko's help, she probably could've made it home by herself. Thinking this and Kiriko's subsequent statement about wanting to go home, Emiya had to wonder if that was truly what she wanted to do. She had barely been here more than an hour and already she could recognize where she saw it and there was a high chance someone here could assist her in her training, the kind of assistance her father would not be able to do. Emiya could tell she was outclassed, even in the presence of the woman from earlier who acted oddly. The more she thought about it, the more she realized that going home to that city full of sub par swordsmen instead of staying here for a while to further her training would be a big mistake. In fact, she'd kick herself in the a** for the rest of her life if she didn't even try to stay here a little longer. It wouldn't be a problem, she didn't think, not on her end anyway. It was all a matter of convincing them to let her stay here, both her teacher and this other person. "Actually..." She began sheepishly, gathering a look from Kuzumi who quirked an eyebrow in her direction. "Actually, I don't want to go home."

"Emi, you have to; It's dangerous here! No, I won't let you. Out of the question." He was dead set on not letting her stay here. This place gave him the creeps; danger loomed around every corner and he couldn't do anything to protect her. Not that she really needed protecting, but at least in the face of perverts and bullies he stood a decent chance of coming out victorious. Here, however, he felt like he'd be taken down in a second flat, probably less. Strictly speaking, he didn't want her or himself to have any more to do with this place. Hearing his refusal and instead of feeling like he was trying to control her, Emiya reached for his arm and took it into her delicate fingers and turned to flash her big blue eyes in his direction, showing him her determination rather than fighting his refusal with words. Kuzumi blinked twice, focusing only her eyes and nothing else as if he only tunnel vision. "Damn..." He knew her so well that with a face like that she was completely serious and nothing he could do would sway her opinion. In hindsight, he was rather foolish to try and stop her, but it had felt like the right thing to do at the time. When he said nothing else she knew he had him beat and smiled to reassure him before returning her attention to Nu and Kiriko now that the problem of Kuzumi's feelings were dealt with. "As I was saying... I don't- I don't want to go home yet. If they'll have me, I want to stay here and have someone train me. I'll even help clean up and you won't even have to give me a bed or even food! I can sleep in the woods and find my own food, I've... I've done it before..."

While expecting a lashing from at least one of them, Emiya nervously toyed with Kuzumi's fingers, having taken his hand for emotional support while talking to them. "Amahara-sensei, you can make a copy of me, right? That's what those are, you can make a copy of me and let it go to school in my place... If you tell my dad, he'll either get mad or be happy... but..." Turning red mostly because of her audience, Emiya lost her train of thought and simply went back to her original statement. "Please, let me stay.. This is important to me!" While she spoke, Kuzumi stared at the back of his girlfriend's head, trying to fully cope with what she was suggesting; it was bad enough she wanted to stay, but he'd die long before he let her sleep outside and forage for food like some kind of savage. It almost made him reconsider his decision to let her; almost. Now that he thought about it, he had a copy in the Human World already so he could stay here just the same. Unconsciously he moved his hand into his pocket and wrapped his fingers around the small, felt-covered box, the very same object he had been toying with while sitting on the roof, assuming his girlfriend to be dead. He had been terrified that he wouldn't be able to give it to her, but now he had a chance. If he didn't stay, his plan to give it to her tonight would be thrown out the door. After working up the courage to do it, there was no way he could back down now. Plus, knowing her, she'd stay for longer than a simple few days and he couldn't wait months on end to ask her, much less see her, the real Emiya, again. With a steeled resolve he didn't think he'd be able to muster up, he firmly stated his decision without faltering. "I will stay too. Please, consider her request... It means a lot to her, to us... Please..." With unwavering determination to match Emiya's, Kuzumi let his gaze travel from Kiriko to Nu, considering the captain to be an unofficial representative for this place, and could see out of the corner of his eye that Emiya seemed both intruged by his decision an quite pleased by it.

Nu was ultimately pleased with the negotiations. Heaven forbid, a group of humans starting to rampage, just after the whole Sephira fiasco. She was glad to see it was the eldest one to speak for the group, she seemed to be pretty reasonable in terms of returning home. "If the return is quick and smooth, I would certainly look over this whole incident..." If the rest on them were here to return Emiya back into the human's domain, then it wouldn't be too hard to overlook their sudden appearance to their realm. However, it seemed to Emiya that her decision was to stay, a choice never given to her. Almost as soon as she heard the words utter out of her mouth, Nu was already shaking her head in refusal.

"No. No, absolutely not!" Her eyes shifted from Emiya to the male, and back to Emiya. "Think about what you are saying! This isn't about you roaming the forest or keeping yourself alive! Do you know where you are? This is a realm of the dead, the shinigami! I cannot make special conditions. You will return home." Though her resolve was strong to return them to their world, part of Nu was curious on why this woman wanted to waste away her youth. Most good humans ended up in Soul Society when their time comes, but never has she heard of humans actively wanting to stay. To do so would be to leave behind loved ones, family, and the sort. And yet, she seemed determined to stay, as did her significant other. Why did these children want to stay here so badly? Perhaps if she got to the root of her wanting to stay, she would be more inclined to return home peacefully.

"Why is it that you wish to stay? With that demonstration, you are clearly stronger then any human, besting some shinigami as well, more then a match for the majority of hollow. Why do you wish to stay and train? What are you looking for?"

"Uh-oh..." The desire to back away weighed heavily on his mind as Kuzumi felt Emiya's hand unconsciously tighten around his own. Her vice grip proved she was upset with Nu's refusal, and Kuzmi had learned years ago that a woman scorned, especially Emiya, was not a good thing. He also knew she wouldn't visibly show her anger because she was too polite, but he had long since been able to pick up on quirks she had while angry, making it very easy for him to tell when she was. She did not let up, and Kuzumi had to bite the inside of his cheek to keep from screaming in pain. He watched her back as she steeled herself, preparing to speak. The teenage girl had known that it would not be that easy to convince her, but being flat out refused was enough to make her very frustrated. But, much to Kuzumi's surprise, Emiya was able to calm herself, prepare her response, and respond in a polite manner. At this point, it was pretty much unavoidable that she'd have to bring up her past in order to drive her point home. However, she'd have to work it from a different angle if she was to be successful, because after learning more about this place she was more than certain this person had heard her story over a hundred times.

"When I was little, a hollow killed my mother. My mother meant the world to me, and now she's gone. I used to think it was because the beast was hungry that it took my mother's life, like a lioness will take down a gazelle to feed. But now, I understand, it was not his hunger that killed her, it was because there are no safety precautions where I live, no, where humans live. Until today, I've only seen a single Shinigami in my 17 years of existence, and now that I know what your purpose is, I understand why she died; this place was too slow to react. I have no thoughts of revenge, I'm not here to tell you to change, and I'm not upset with you or anyone here for that; it's done with, I'm over her death. But, I will not stand idly by while someone else I care about is taken away from me. Not while I can do something about it. I realize now why a structured, hierarchal organization exists and why there's such a vast difference between my attackers and the grey-eyed lady that drove them away; there are stronger enemies out there.

You said so yourself that I'm better than a majority of Hollow and if I can subjugate any of them that have walked into my city, there must be something far worse out there. Maybe that's why this place looks like it went to Hell and came back... If I can't measure up to the grey-eyed lady, then I can't measure up to the people that caused this destruction. I will not accept a large gap between myself and others, so I must seek guidance where I can. If that means staying here, then so be it."
As she spoke, her own words got her riled up and more passionate about what she was saying, and now she was even more determined than ever. She was quick to release Kuzumi's hand, who watched her lower her body to the ground to prepare for a saikeirei, dropping to her knees to start with. "It is my obligation as a woman of the sword, it is my obligation to my family, my promise to the man that I li- no... it is the promise to the man that I love, and most importantly, it is my promise to myself." After sparing Kuzumi a glance to the side accompanied by a light smile, she leaned forward to catch her upper body with her hands as she brought her forehead directly to the ground. In the traditional Japanese sense, this was the most respectful bow a person could offer, and it was her way of proving that she was in total submission, or rather at Nu's mercy, and was well aware of this. Now, as she spoke into the ground, she hoped what she had to say would work out for her. "So, please, I implore you to reconsider. It's something I must do."

At first she was naturally skeptical; letting Emiya simply stay in such a place was out of the question. Sure, she could certainly make a copy of the girl, bring it back with her and let the copy assume Emiya's life for the time she was in the Seireitei. She wouldn't get in any sort of trouble for doing so because no one would ever be able to tell the difference between her fake and the original, so the question was not about getting away with it. However, the question of feelings did surface in her mind; even if Emiya was capable of surviving on and even if she got the ok from the Seireitei itself, Kiriko certainly wouldn't feel at ease about it. But, as she watched the girl silently work things out with Kuzumi, and then provide a clear concise answer for Nu that explained everything she needed to know, Kiriko felt her feelings sort themselves out. Kiriko, as a teacher, was delighted that she knew what she wanted to do, that she had a purpose. After all, the whole point of school is to guide kids towards their future, and it seemed like Emiya had figured her future out while Kiriko wasn't looking. That was enough for her, she did not need to interfere with this child's future any longer outside of class.

"Isn't that something... Clearly you've thought this through. You're on your own, but I'll talk to your dad later. Have a nice time." Kiriko clasped her hand on Kuzumi's shoulder, shaking his torso a bit, and then bent over to touch Emiya on the shoulder for the purposes of creating a duplicate of her. Once the fake was solidly formed by her side, who already knew what was going on since she was a product of Emiya herself, Kiriko turned back towards the way they had come and beckoned her two pupils to follow. despite not having an answer from Nu, it was meaningless for her to stand there any longer, not even to wait for Hiiragi to take her home. In the worst case scenario, Emi would get rejected and sent home which she could clearly do by herself, yet Kiriko somehow doubted the female captain could say no to her at this point. The teacher raised a hand, giving the two kids a wave goodbye as she retraced her steps back towards the Hill.

Having finally found Hiiragi Emiya, safe and sound of course, Jose let out a long sigh as he felt this long day could finally come to an end. All they had to do know was re-enter the strange sliding portal door and they would be home free. True they’d probably have to confront that strange train-blob-thing, but he’d rather take his chances with that than with the people here, however…

"Actually, I don't want to go home."

Rang out the words from Hiiragi Emiya, the very same person they were supposed to rescue. Jose was shocked and his mouth dropped open as he realized she wasn’t kidding. To him it was insane, but before he could protest, Hiiragi Emiya, her boyfriend and the female Shinigami were already talking to each other, and he certainly didn’t think he had the right to butt in.

Sorely left out, he simply waited for them to finish, or at the very least until Kiriko-sensei intervened. Surely, he thought, she would be against her student staying in such a foreign… dimension, however…

"Isn't that something... Clearly you've thought this through. You're on your own, but I'll talk to your dad later. Have a nice time."

Once again, Jose was in shock. To him, the decision didn’t make sense, neither of theirs did. In fact, now that he thought about nothing in this world or dimension made sense to him. But there wasn’t anything he could do about it, thus as Kiriko-sensei made her exit, Jose simply followed her along. He couldn’t say anything as he didn’t really know them, so he supposed it was best to just leave without any awkward moments ”Hey, Kiriko-sensei.” he asked her as he drew closer towards her ”Could you, I dunno, train me or something? You’re probably really strong, so I was wondering.” though the entire experience wasn’t exactly something he’d like to go through again, it certainly thought him something. If there were beings capable of causing so much destruction that even the Shinigamis themselves had difficulty in defeating them, Jose knew he had to become even stronger if he wanted to stand a chance against them, should they ever decide to attack his hometown.

「人は...大切な何かを守りたいと思った時に本当に強くなれるものなんです」

She had to admit, though she never showed it, Nu could see where this woman was coming from. To gain power to protect those around her was certainly commendable, and the fact that she was literally on her knees did not help much either in her ability to refuse. She seemed like such an adult now, Nu sure she would simply counter with an angry quip, so the polite response was a pleasant surprise. Still, Nu had to put most emotion away for this choice, as this is what the law demanded, and she had to obey. "I won't reconsider my stand on the matter...." Not giving off much facial emotion, she begins to walk back towards the hut before stopping. Still, there was some things she could do in an attempt to assist this girl. "But I suppose it is only fair to present your case to the acting Captain Commander, so you can stay until then, and then who knows? Until then, please get up, we'll find you a place to stay."

Truth be told, a part of her did not want her to leave just yet. Be it the curiosity of having a human in Soul Society, or the curiosity of her strange powers, there was something about this girl that seemed like she could fit right in among them. Waiting for Emiya to rise, she looked around the area, the other two humans choosing to return, so it left only Emiya and her boyfriend. "Question though. Your..erm...boyfriend there. Does he have abilities such as yourself? While he too has equal chance of staying, which is to say, very slim considering the circumstances, it would lower the chances even more if he couldn't properly defend himself." Considering she hasn't seen him do practically anything so far, it was too early to see if he had any hidden abilities. He had the courage to stay with her, but if he was a regular human, courage could only get you so far. With that, she enters the small house, looking for that man.

She wished to see Hei on this matter. More then likely he will be indifferent to the entire situation, but it would be good to have more feedback from the captains on this issue. Finding the man was easy enough, though the difficult part was trying to explain the situation. "Hei, what are the chances of these....people, staying?

Part of parenting was obviously attending to the child's needs before the parent's own, and Hei's household was no different in that respect. So although he was quite privy to the two that were closing in on the area, he did not look their direction because he did not sense killing intent. His focus instead remained on Senka, even as he could see in his peripheral that Emiya was rising to her feet. Without the focus necessary, all Hei could see was the shape of her body, not the look she shot across the lake, nor the sleight of hand she performed to turn her ring into a hilt and then palm it. He was, however, knowledgeable of the fact that two of his men had just arrived to intervene. Their skill might have to be taken into question if Hei was able to sense them long before they could, but then perhaps they had been all the way across the grounds. He was pretty shorthanded after all. While he tickled the cooing Senka's belly, whom grabbed onto his finger in delight, he was able to follow her out the door with his gaze, appearing unconcerned for the moment, but not coldly so like what was normally expected of him. He returned his face to Senka shortly after, continuing his playful assault on her stomach while she giggled with glee. He flashed her a smile and rubbed her head, tousling the patch of hair atop it, but being mindful of her soft spot.

Shortly after Emiya had stepped out, Nu made a comment directed towards him that he had assumed would have come earlier. Perhaps Nu's senses weren't as up to snuff as the should have been, since she should have been able to feel the slight aura emanating from the girl's ring and sword. Then again, it could have just been that Hei was already familiar with the feeling a Fullbrought object let off; he wasn't entirely sure. Nu's question left him with questions of his own because even his knowledge didn't extend full into Fullbring territory. He knew of the power's name, that it was something Humans used, and had a basic understanding of how it worked. He was curious to learn more, but he knew so little that he couldn't sufficiently answer her question the way he would have liked to. "Special." Hei pulled out the dishrag and then put Senka up on his shoulder so that she was leaning over it, and then tucked his hair behind his ear while turning to look out the window. He was able to watch Emiya dispatch of the two Onmitsukido without using lethal force, which was a feat in itself, then witnessed her jump into the young man's arms and proceed to display her affection for him. "Hmm..." Being curious, Hei moved to the side of the bed and carefully knelt on it so that he push the window out and open so that he could hear the following conversation.

His knee was inconveniently placed right next to Tsukiko's head who woke up as soon as it was removed. She sat up groggily, rubbing her eyes to watch as Hei stood up. Her eyes fell on the baby at Hei's shoulder and she curiously cocked her head to the side. "Oh, I'm sorry dear, did I wake you?" Hei caught the nod from Tsukiko, who then pointed at Senka and asked "A baby? Who's that?" Hei smiled softly and extended a hand to her, offering her the chance to climb into his arms as well. He could balance the both of them; with his strength it was child's play. "Your little sister, Senka." With a look of wonder filling her face, Tsukiko took her father's hand and was helped into his arms. She hung over his left shoulder and looked around his head to see Senka, who was now staring at her older sister. The child did not recognize her, of course, but felt a sense of familiarity that allowed her to open up quickly to the strange girl and extended her hand in curiosity. "Sister?" Tsukiko cocked her head to the side again and took Senka's hand into her own, watching curiously as the baby smiled and giggled. "How long was I asleep?!" Incredulously, she released the baby's hand and whipped around her father's torso, pulling her head back to look him in the eye. "Wasn't I enough?! I'm supposed to be the cute one around here!" Tsukiko quickly shut her lips tight, puffed up her cheeks and folded her arms across her chest to express her annoyance with the baby she now had to compete with for her parent's attention.

Hei exhaled a sigh and shook his head slowly; he probably should have seen this one coming. "You know your mother and I love you. Don't be like that now. Try to get along now, because I expect you to be an important part of her life while she's growing up. You're going to have to set an example for her, teach her what to do and not to do. You're nine now, so you need to act like it? Got it?" Flaring her nostrils, the young girl jerked her head to the right, showing off her refusal to listen, and then flipped out of his arms, landing on the bed. "Don't wanna!" With this, she jumped out of the window, landing in the water beneath the window and in a moment of random chance, remembered how to swim and darted through the water like a fish, then resurfaced at the edge of the lake where Emiya was still crouching, Nu having jut walked away. "RAWR, IMMA SHARK!" Screaming, the little girl launched herself out of the lake and landed on Emi's back, using her as a stepping stone to leap onto the roof of a building before disappearing on the other side of it. Hei was beside himself, mostly because he wanted this phase to end already. He palmed his face in desperation after watching the trail of bubbles on the surface of the lake, sighing as he did so. "She's such a pill..." He couldn't go after her, or rather he simply had no need to; even though she was acting like a hellion with the attention span of a cat, she seemed fine in body and mind. Nu returned shortly thereafter, asking him about those two staying, which would have confused him had he not been half-listening to their conversation for the past few minutes. He returned Senka to the crook of his arm and cast her a stare. He had fallen out of his "happy" mood now that Tsukiko was being belligerent, and was less welcome of all her questions. "36%." He said on the fly, having no patience for her at the moment. "I don't really care what happens, but they've done nothing wrong and the Seireitei has no law on the living staying in the Rukongai. Whatever you decide, make sure that detestable Kirisho pays for his negligence." If Emiya had gotten here by accident, especially due to poor security, then this was definitely Kirisho Hibiki's fault. As such, he didn't consider them Ryoka and his judgement was good as any. At this point, his mood was a little too off for caring about whether they stayed or did not, but his answer would probably sway someone's decsion. "Begone."

Her initial response, the decline to reconsider her stance on the issue, made Emi's heart skip a beat and her eyes pop open. Was her prostration not enough; what more need she do to prove herself to get what she wanted? Emi could hear the shuffling of her feet, indicating she was walking away. The fact that she was doing so just after declining her made Emi start to get angry again. However, before she could get to far into a mood, Nu turned the tables around to tell her she would get a trial, as it were, then offered her a place to stay. "Why didn't you just say that in the first place?" She was just getting up to answer Nu's question when Tsukiko jumped out of the water, landed square on her back, then pushed off it to run off into the distance. Emi groaned with the contact, slumping back to the ground despite her best efforts. Having a hundred-pound child jump on her back was not what she needed right now.

Kuzumi, having watched the child leap out of the water, claim she was a shark, land on Emi, then run off, bent over to assist Emi standing up like a gentleman. Still suffering some pain from the unwarranted attack, Emi probably would have fallen over if not for Kuzumi, as she seemed to have bruised her lower back. "Wh-what the hell was that all about?" Kuzumi explained quickly the best he could, and once she heard his description of the girl, she knew who it was, and the attack actually made a little sense at this point. Emi looked around and saw that Nu was gone, but closer inspection revealed her inside Hei's little hut. So she had walked off after all. With Kuzumi's help, she retrieved her weapons, made it to the edge of the lake, which solidified after coming in contact with her foot, and crossed the lake to get to the door. She heard the voice of Hei inside, who sounded angrier than he had been, possibly because of Tsukiko, and waited until he was done talking before entering.

[Ugendō]

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything, but you asked me a question? Well, see... Unless there's something I need to know about, I don't believe he will need to do much defending of himself. It's not to say he is unable, but I don't see the necessity if this is supposed to be a place of order. Outside any training, I wouldn't even expect myself to need to be defensive..." She fidgeted with his hand again now that she was nervous of drawing Hei's anger on her own head for whatever reason. "Erm, that's all... I'd like to be as little trouble as possible so I think I'll find someplace to camp out until this Captain Commander person is ready to speak to me. Good day." With a curt bow in Hei's direction, then Nu's, Emiya vanished on the spot, taking Kuzumi with her, who could be heard shouting as he was tugged off towards the forest on the other side of the buildings that ringed the Ugendō.

36%. Not the best of odds, but they were much higher then she initially thought, and if what he said was true, they haven't broken any laws yet, which would be a positive on their entire situation. Before she followed with his order and left, they were approached by Emiya, who after explaining herself furthur, pproceeded to leave with her boyfriend in tow to the woods. "W-wait! There are actually housing area for conditions like this!" It was too late. By the time she even spoke the first word, she was long gone. While they were waiting for the acting Commander, that didn't mean they had to camp out into the forest.

By all this commotion, she could understand now why Hei sounded a bit angry. With all that's happened in his little "home" and ending off with one of his daughter's claiming to be an aquatic predator, who then jumped on Emiya's back and fled to the rooftops, it was somewhat amazing how he was handling all this so well. "Err, my humblest apologies for bothering you. I'll report this to Kazuhiko for now and keep an eye on your daughter in the event she does something..childish..." With that she makes one last quick bow before walking out the door, her vanishment and the shuffling of feet on rooftops indicating she simply took Tsukiko's lead and traveled by the roofs of houses, making her way to 1st Division. While she knows Kazuhiko by name, they had never really interacted with one another, which leaves his decision a mystery.
