"Ohhh," Eli nodded, in understanding. Well, and Earthquake certainly made sense. And as long as it wasn't going to come tumbling down and crash them in the middle of some great dream, he wouldn't worry much about it.
Regardless, he was snapped away from these thoughts as his tail was touched. Instead of getting all weirded out or suspicious-like, he got a rather cocky grin on his face, deciding that it must have been because he had a pretty awesome tail. (It was fluffy, wasn't it?)
Trotting back to Kevin's side, he nudged him with that same stupid grin still in place. "Alright, then show me," he nodded, flicking his tail back and forth. "I've never seen a confessional, so I guess it'll be a learning experience, too." ☮

Kevin blushed a bit when the other nudged him, playing with the hem of his shirt when Eli came up beside him. The nudge didn't help. Kevin couldn't help it, his tail was big and fluffy. Sigh.
Pouting, he reached down to grab the man's wrist, pulling him towards the building and ducking under a hole in the door, he pointed to the lines of confessionals, most of them partially open or doors missing. "See," he pointed, dragging him over to one and letting him go to hop up onto the red velvet seat. Standing on his tip-toes, he pushed the window open to the confessional on the other side and peeked through. That window was still in tact~
"Come here," he motioned for him to come up, plopping on his rear on the soft seat. At least he had a few things about this place to show off.

Ignoring Kevin's pout (though it wasn't entirely intentional, it was mostly because he was still grinning like an idiot and didn't notice), he followed him to the confessionals more than happily. If he had noticed, it probably wouldn't have done much good. He would have laughed.
That aside, he stumbled beside Kevin as he was pulled, not seeming to mind all that much. "So you have to be comfortable when talking about sins?" He asked upon entering, looking skeptically up at Kevin on the cushion of the confessional. Well, whatever. Not wanting to be difficult, he simply pulled himself up onto the seat beside Kevin.
Well, these were certainly nice indeed, Eli decided, raising his eyebrows. "I like them," he stated, smile returning as he flicked his tail at Kevin, kind of teasingly (oh Eli, let it go), and cocked his head to the side. "They're soft." ☮

"Guess so," he didn't know all the dynamics about churches and why they did this or that. So. "And they give people weird cookies that taste gross and wine that they claim is blood. It's weird," admittedly he'd gotten into the 'blood of christ' at one point. Interesting night after that, he was sure. From what he could remember.
When he was flicked with the tail he puffed out his cheeks, reaching up to grab the fluffy appendage, only to hold it in place with both arms. Because it took both arms to hug it to his chest--fuzzy. If Eli was going to tease him with it he was going to attempt to pluck it off of him..though he didn't pull it, that was just mean.
"Not a lot of us stay here every day so you have a bunch to choose from," he said matter-of-factly. Grinning, he wapped him right back with his own tail, before the striped appendage joined his arms in wrapping around Eli's fluffier one. Ha.

Eli, upon the mention of blood, immediately pulled a face. Humans were weird. "Why would they want to drink blood?" Even if it was just pretend, didn't that sound. . .Scary? Whatever. To each their own. . He supposed. If the humans wanted to eat cookies and blood, they could have it all. (Not that they'd share anyway, he mused, but that wasn't the point.)
But, he was quickly distracted by his tail being hugged, only to have himself more or less bound to the spot. Though, it was with a lot of fluff, so he could deal.
"With the rate things are going," he stated, figuring that if he couldn't use his tail to tease, he'd have to use his words, "We'll have to share one, unless you're planning on giving that back to me." ☮

"I donno, I dont get that part," he admitted, shrugging. The cookies were gross and the blood made him feel weird.
But anyway, he kicked his feet a bit as they sat there, Eli apparently not bothered by him hugging his tail, though he could hear the teasing in his words. Sticking his tongue out at him, he instead smoothed the other's tail over his lap, beginning to pick out grass and those little prickly things from the bushes. Habit to clean, though one would think it'd be to clean himself and not the odd cat he'd met just moments ago.
"If you'd of kept your tail to yourself we wouldn't have this problem~" He teased right back, combing his fingers through the fur and tugging out the tangles, just to make him cringe, though not hard enough to hurt...too bad. Kevin apparently had a meaner side that he covered up with the cute and happy side.

Kevin got what he wanted, as Eli's ears were quick to flatten, letting out a little whine as he winced and tried to tug his tail away. Half-heartedly, as he didn't mind it being cleaned, but it was rather uncomfortable to have his fur tugged.
"But you like my tail," he protested, swishing it up to brush across his face playfully before he let it fall back to the smaller cat's lap. "If you didn't, you wouldn't have tried to steal it from me a few seconds ago." He grinned, before sighing dramatically while leaning against the back of the confessional.
"Plus, you started it," he pointed out, mind going back to the roof top where Kevin had clearly been the one to flick him with his tail first. Eli was provoked, it was only by a matter of principle that he'd retaliated! So fair was fair, Kevin was just a meanie. ☮

Chuckling despite himself, he whined suddenly and brought his hands back up to grab the tail, even though it was returned to his lap only moments later. The brushed to his face made him huff a bit, getting the fur that had fallen off away from his nose and mouth. Bleh.
"I like your tail," he agreed, snickering and instead just combing his fingers through the fur, careful of the snags and burrs this time. Well, Kevin had started it..and kind of finished it.
Looking over to the other, he grinned and grabbed up the other's tail to twist it this way and that, carefully, seeing if he'd missed anything, "But you're the one saying you want to share a bed with me~" Kevin pointed out, letting the other's tail go and hopping down from the soft seat. Take that.

Just as he was about to settle down to let his tail be groomed, Kevin was on the ground, and-- huff-- teasing him! "Whoa, whoa, whoa," he said, jumping off of the confessional to follow after him. "Who said anything about 'want'?" he pouted, fluffing his tail up behind him rather indignantly.
"You had my tail, and if you hadn't let it go, then we would have had to!" Someone was getting a little defensive, weren't they? Eh, it was only because he was disappointed due to the lack of further tail-grooming and Kevin was trying to turn the tables on him, so it was totally justified wasn't it?
"Like. . No choice. We'd have to." He made a hand motion in front of them as if to stretch the word 'have' out with further emphasis so that he made sure Kevin got it. Really, he was just being ridiculous. ☮

Giggling at the other's jump on being defensive, not offended by it at all, he wandered out of the small confessional when the other moved to follow. This one was a keeper, he could already tell. Was Kevin being manipulative? ..maybe, but he couldn't help it.
Laughing a little when he got further defensive, the smaller turned to face him, tail swaying this way and that against the backs of his thighs, "I was always told that if you get that defensive over something, it was true," he teased again, really just finding it amusing that Eli would get all flustered over a little taunting and prodding.
Letting out another giggle, he perked his ears and crossed his arms behind his back, "Sorry if I offended you," he said sweetly, waiting with an arched brow, "I was just playing~"

Eli crossed his arms over his chest, pouting a little, apparently not quite as amused as Kevin was. After all, who liked being picked on? Not that Kevin didn't have a point, sort of, but still, how mean of him.
"I'm not being defensive," Eli said, popping a hip out in a very-not-defensive way. Because he wasn't be defensive at all, not in the slightest, and he obviously had no idea what would even lead Kevin to that conclusion, pout pout.
"You weren't just playing," he complained further, plopping down on the ground, crossing his legs. "And for your information, we will not be sharing a confessional. I'll stay in the one at the opposite end." So there, take that, he wouldn't be sharing his nice fluffy tail. Hmph. ☮

Smiling over to him, he shook his head a little and moved to circle around the larger cat, reaching down to begin to pick the grass and such out of his hair and such too, dodging his tail since he hadn't been given permission to touch it again. In fact, he said he wouldn't share, so...
Keeping himself from teasing Eli more, he made a mental note to make sure that he took the teasing but didn't dish it back out. How cute. Getting an attachment this early on probably wasn't the best idea Kevin had ever had, but he couldn't help it. Who could?
"It's your choice, not mine," he murmured, looking down at him with another sweet smile, "Is there anything else you want to explore?" Not much more to show besides the stream, but it was tiny and really not all that amusing.

Eli tilted his head back so that he could look at him upside-down. Crinkling his nose up, he huffed once more before perking up at the suggestion of exploring. He liked exploring, and apparently that was enough to appease his surprisingly temporary. . . Hissy fit? Not really a fit, but it was close enough.
"You've showed me everywhere around here, right?" He asked. "So. . . Is there anywhere fun we can go close by?" Where they went didn't matter as long as he didn't know anything about it. That was the fun of an adventure-- having no idea what the hell you were getting yourself into.
"Come on, let's go exploring together!" He reached over to take his hand, forgetting entirely that Kevin was such a meanie a minute ago. "We'll be back before it gets dark in case anyone else shows up. .!" ☮
