Hugbell had left room for another animal. "Ohhh!" She seemed excited, "Pandas are pretty." She finished one outline and paused, "Is it okay if I add a Panda beside Barnaby?"
She looked at Zink, "As thanks for helping me?"
She nodded with a smile, "I won't tell anyone!" She promised with a nod and a smile.
Tilting her head, "You know, I was wondering, why did you join the negaverse?" Her butter yellow eyes were watching him curiously to see if he'd answer.

He blinked at her in surprise. "... Why wouldn't I?" He asked, better perhaps not to bring into it, distant stars or alien origins. "People I trust are part of this... It's not as though I can become a senshi." He shrugged quietly. "This allows me to fight for things I believe in." He tipped his head at the Kite... "I think Mister Barnaby would look very well with a panda friend, feel free."
He nodded

Hugbell tilted her head slightly, it was a vague answer. Though she she nodded, "Fighting for things you believe in is good."
She remembered her father saying something about how often he had to fight for things for people he did business with.
She smiled though when he said Barnaby would look very well with a panda friend. She started drawing the panda as well, eventually giving them both fighter pilot hats, ones like Snoopy was often wearing when he was flying his dog house. "Would you like to color the panda?" She asked giving both of them bow-ties to finish the outlines.
They might not have been the prettiest bears Zink had ever seen, but the nine-year old senshi seemed to be really proud of them.

"Thank you..." he said tentatively and did his best to imitate her own style of coloring, He'd never done this much...too busy trying too hard to impress too many even as a child. "Does...this look alright?" He tipped his head at her and drew back to show what he had mustered.
"Why do you still come out at night like this if I might ask...you're young, you could be in danger... from either side."

Hugbell watched him as he colored, she was coloring Barnaby in a brown before switching to a blue. "It looks good." She said with a nod, being careful not to get in his way or lean on the kite too hard.
She paused, "I... don't come out as often." She admitted, "I came out tonight because I wanted to see if I could find a way to help without getting in the way." She looked at the kite, "I thought maybe if i could fix it so Barnaby could drop from the air, I'd be better able to help without getting hurt or in the way."
Honestly she'd gotten the idea from watching an older movie with parachutes and men jumping out of planes. "I don't know how well it'll work, but I thought it might be worth a try."
She paused and then added, "It's not like I can try this in the daytime."

"This is true... Day time does make it hard." He conceded.
"But... I was wondering really why you do it -personally-, I always wonder why the senshi don't just...leave when some of them just don't seem interested in the fight. Yet every night they are still there... "

Hugbell nodded and then tilted her head at Zink. She gave a slight frown, "Well... I've sorta been hoping that it'd help me stand up to the bullies at school." She paused, "I mean trying to fight strange monsters or scary stuff, that should make dealing with those that are mean to others easier right?"
There was another pause, "I... I'm not sure we can leave though. Maybe the ones that aren't interested don't have a reason? I'm not sure anyone knows why we're really fighting..." Her brows knitted as she thought, "The voice said something about fighting to keep the light... but I don't know what it means."

"Ahhh... Bullies" He said as though he understood that very VERY well. "I can tell you how -I- deal with them, since we are both 'small' people, though you have a few years to outstrip me for height." He tipped his head slightly at her understandingly. He couldn't quite risk giving her details of his personal 'abuses' but he could give her ideas, maybe she'd be good at it.
"I'm not sure what they mean about 'light' either..." He said with a small shrug. "But I do think that no mater what side of a fight you find yourself on, you -must- believe at the time that that side IS the light...so perhaps that is what was meant."

Watching Zink her head tilted just a little more. "Oh, that might be helpful." She agreed after he finished talking, anything to help stop the bullies from picking on her was better than being forced to stand there and take it.
She gave a small nod, "Okay..." She said after a bit having thought about it, smiling softly. "I'll try to think of it as that then, maybe..." She though about how hard of a job that would be since Zink and Schee both were awful nice to her, she wiggled a second "...that would just mean try to help people right?"

"Watch them...EVERYone has habits, if you learn where they lack the verbal or physical skills to perpetuate their bullying, then you try and make yourself stronger in that area. You can counter act -their bullying ...well compromise is probably easiest to start with." He mused.
Trying to instruct a ...what, 10 year old on how to successfully turn two bullies attention on each other was probably pushing his luck.
"The more you know the stronger you are, the more you know the more you can DO with that knowledge..."
He paused and then fished out twine so they could attempt to fly the kite, knotting on a tail with a few strips of cheep ribbon for balance.
"...And you can make a few unexpected acquaintances with the right knowledge too, like this evening."

Hug-bell listened to carefully as he spoke, looking interested, "Per-pet-u-ate?" She asked pouncing it like a spelling word, okay there was a word she didn't know. "What's that?"
She nodded, when he said the more you know the stronger you are. It made sense, the fact that not everything was all about fighting but knowledge seemed reasonable to the child. Hug-bell smiled when Zink said she could make unexpected acquaintances, watching him as he attached the twine and the ribbons to the kite. "And I got to learn some new things too." She said happily, to her it was always a good thing to learn something new.

"Perpetuate" He repeated carefully, enunciating so she might learn the word more easily. "Generally...people use the word when they mean to imply that an unpleasant, or undesirable situation might in some way be caused to continue for an indefinite period of time, potentially 'forever' or until some factor involved in that situation fails to continue or...exist."
He lifted the Kite and offered her the string.
"All set... I think... Though I should be going soon..." He nodded slightly as though to say he thought perhaps she shouldn't stay out too late either.

Hug-bell nodded, "That should've been one of my spelling words. It sounds like something we should know." She chuckled.
She took the kite string. "I should as well," She agreed getting the hint. Although she was getting sleepy as well, giving a soft yawn. "Can we see if it flies before we leave?" She asked looking excited even though she was getting sleepy.

A soft but surprisingly sincere laugh. "Yes, yes we can do that, It would be poor of me to tell you to take that on faith... Here... Let's give it a good start, you hold the string I'll hold it up to catch the wind." He said and lifted it carefully, lightly holding the frame up so that she could set off.

Hug-bell smiled at Zink, "Thank you!" She said before she started running to get the kite in the air. The child turned to watch as she got enough momentum for the kite to fly. She hoped it would go high and not be too heavy or anything.
It would be a shame if such a pretty kite didn't fly because it was too heavy. Plus she'd have a way to get Barnaby up in the air! It would be a good way to get the older senshi or anyone help the chibi senshi thought.
