A wobble of his heels upon the vampire's impact caused Valerie to topple to the asphalt at Jaymes' feet. the teen groaned when the handcuff bracelet tightened on his wrist but he quickly stood and dusted the imaginary dust from his studded jacket. The man's hand made it's way back into his jacket, already sensing that something wasn't right with the female in front of him just by the dated way she was dressed.

Startled by the man's voice, Valerie almost pulled the stake from his jacket and his eyes instantly shot to the mortal rather than the vampire that had knocked him off of his pointed heels. "Yea. I'm fine." The teen surveyed James with a raised brow before relaxing his arms slightly. "You know a chick called Faith?"

ɑяɪɑɳɳɑ ஐ Ƚɑωϩѻɳxxxxx  Arianna strolled the dark streets, looking for a meal that could satiate her growing thirst.Her big, child-like red eyes scanned the street in front of her and she found a group of people... but it was too crowded. She was about to walk on when she saw one of the men fall. It caused a soft giggle to rise from her throat and out her mouth. She sighed and decided to continue her search, her heels making quiet clicks on the damp pavement. She ran a hand through her curls as she thought. Maybe she should just get a homeless man. After all, they had nothing to live for, right? -------------------------------------------------------------------------

She looked into the alley that was nearest to her and found an elderly man all alone lying on some newspaper. It saddened Arianna, and she decided to put him out of his misery. She walked over to the elder and smiled, "Are you tired of being out here, old man?" Arianna knelt down next to him when he nodded. "Well, I'll fix that," She murmured with a kind look. Then her face shifted, causing the man to look terrified, but not for long because Arianna bit into his soft flesh, sucking him free of blood. -------------------------------------------------------------------------

The vampire let out a sigh of relief to see that she had stayed clean during her feeding.she walked out of the alley, humming to herself, heading back home since she could find nothing better to do. -------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You know about them?" The teen asked with a slight relief pressing himself into the detective's personal space. "I'm looking for the slayers."
