Grumbling just a bit under his breath, Aksaja looked up when Yaya called him and made his way over to her. This looked really easy, so why couldn't he do it? Even the ghoul and the puppy were doing better! Ugh.
"What'd I do wrong?" he asked, voice a low mutter. It was just water, it wasn't gonna hurt him or anything, geez. He shouldn't be afraid of it. At least, that's what he was trying to tell himself.

The pup's ears perked up proudly at Yaya's praise. He had been doing good? His curious glance shifted from Yaya to Junko, both girls right nearby and helping him stay afloat.
Little ears fell in a concerned expression when Junko sank on her first attempt, and when Yaya sank in the water is first instinct was to reach around her shoulders as intended. Perhaps grabbing her wrist with the other hand was a bit extreme for the boil, who normally tried to look as independent and self-assured as possible, but he let go once he realized she was only moving to help Junko.
And that was something Jove could wholeheartedly agree on. He was taking a liking to the girl, she was friendly in all the right ways to put him at ease. In fact, when Yaya moved the two of them over in the water, he also reached out to mimic the djinn's movements, putting a hand under Junko to make sure she stayed afloat.
His tail wagged and his ears perked in Aksaja's direction. Were they going to make the dragon float now too?
