(( Preppin' a dish for ole SR! ))
If Kasumi could have, she would have made the >_O face at all the yelling. She cordially accepted the food Malcolm had been nice enough to prepare, even though eating was only a habitual thing at this point. She didn't need it. The Screaming Guy, however, was yelling about needing food. Kasumi sighed, bowing her apologies to the nice boils she'd met before retreating to the kitchen. He hated veggies? Well goodness... Kasumi wasn't the best cook, but to save everyone else's eardrums, she'd certainly give it her best shot - with Professor Malcolm's help, of course.
Scooting her way down into the galley, the ghost sorted through all the food available on board - steaks, lots of vegetables, some seafood... Seafood! Now who wouldn't want fresh seafood on a cruise such as this? Kasumi picked up some clams and shrimp, snatching up a small cookbook along with her other ingredients. Gumbo? Yes, gumbo sounded like it would be wonderful! It took her a few good hours (and a lot of it was devoted to prep work or simply reading the recipe), but the gumbo had been modified to include as few veggies as possible. The steaming pot had been filled with bits of clam, oiiiiiiister (she thought that was appropriate, given the Screaming Man's favorite phrase), shrimp and chunks of fish, all swimming in a semi-spicy brown sauce. It was savory, if a bit salty, but it was still piping hot when the ghost brought a bowl of it back topside for Screaming Man to sample.
"Umm... I do hope you enjoy this, sir! You hate veggies, so this doesn't contain any. Everyone else is welcome to some gumbo too!"
The best thing about gumbo is really, you could throw anything you wanted in it. Carnivores would probably have liked it. Kasumi waited patiently to see what the Trick-oriTreater thought of it.

Boils' Bunk --> Deck.
Barth had, eventually, gone to deposit canvas bag (first bed, bottom bunk). Normally the bunk by the door got the most in and out traffic, but he wasn't too concerned. He wasn't a light sleeper. And anyway, there were only three bunks.
When it came to a decision between cooking and not eating...Barth preferred mooching.
"What's that you've made, there?" He asked Kasumi. She'd only brought a bowl for their illustrious first mate, surely there was a smidge more still in the galley.

(( Hanging out on deck, rolling for climbing the crow's nest, profit. Preparing food for SR shall come later muahahahaa ))
It had been a fairly comfortable and uneventful trip so far, full of delicious nearly raw meat, gently swaying bunks and flirty naiads. Perhaps, West thought, that last thing wasn't so wonderful now that he thought about it some more. Stupid naiads. Still, it seemed that the open sea suited the boil and he definitely appreciated all of the rage that tended to fly about around here.
He had been inside, staring out of a porthole for what seemed like hours, when he suddenly decided to go up to the deck and find out what everyone else was doing with themselves. What was the use of being on R.A.G.E. if you spent all of your time mindlessly staring out of windows?
Things were quiet on deck. That had to change. West looked around, gaze coming to rest on that crow's nest SR seemed so fond of. It appeared the Trick or Treater might soon be distracted by that ghost ghoul and her gumbo. Now was the perfect time to initiate Operation: Climb s**t. It would be fun to cause SR a little bit of trouble.
Surprisingly, the wrath demon made it about three-quarters of the way up to the crow's nest, even with his arm the way it was. Unfortunately, that was when the poop patrol decided to rain down its furious vengeance. When SR's bird passed overhead, West began muttering curses, retreating before he could get any more covered with crap than he already was.
Once he reached the deck again, he stormed off, heading for the kitchen.

He smiled at his friend. "Thanks. Now if I can only learn how to play more than one song, I'll be doing pretty good." He chuckled. "How's the practice with your instrument going?"
He knew that Sepheran had gotten one of the instruments he wanted, but he couldn't remember which one it was off the top of his head. He was fairly certain that it wasn't small enough to carry easily though.
He sat his piccolo down, and then blinked. Was that the other chaperon climbing down? He listened as he basically ordered them to make them food, even if he was offering some sort of prize if he liked it. Still, he didn't really have that much to do at the moment, and he looked at Seph. "What do you think? Shall we go down to the kitchen and fix something up for him?"

(( SHARRA WENT TO MAKE FOOD |D <3 ))
The nergal boil was currently already in the kitchen, sleeves of his white shirt rolled up as he worked diligently over a pot, from which a rather delectable smell was roiling off of...he'd just started on the spices and whatnot, working them up so that they'd be able to replace the vegetables that usually went into such a dish. He'd decided that stew seemed to be the most efficient way to accomplish the task, and it would keep him from getting bored. Reception for his Eyephone was rather bad out here, and so he couldn't text Yaya as constantly as he might have wished to.
Noting West as he made his entrance into the kitchen, the other demon seemed to be in a particularly foul mood, and so, waving him over, he made a gesture to the utensils that the brunette boil had already laid out in order to slice the variety of meats that he'd been able to scrounge from the stores. "Hey! West! Wanna help me slice some meat here? I'm making stew...mostly beef, low on the veggies..." He'd figured it would be better than just idly sitting around, at least...and perhaps now his pink-haired compatriot would be able to blow off some steam by hacking at the flesh of long-dead animals. Yeaaaah...

Sepheran smiled lightly, "I was lucky, I got the violin which is something I've had practice with before," Sepheran replied. "I practice every now and then but there wasn't much room for me to put it in my suitcase unfortunately. Most of the space was taken up by my jacket in case we ran into the cold again," Sepheran stated knowing he'd have to wear it if he didn't want to end up sleeping through any danger that may come up.
Sephy tilted his head hearing an angry cry about food. Turning to Myr he nodded softly, "I suppose we can, I don't have anything else to do and we can always eat some ourselves if he doesn't want it...though I can't guarantee I'm that great of a cook," he added with a slight chuckled. He was willing to try though.

(( In the kitchen with Sharra kaazam! ))
Ignoring Sharra for the time it took to stomp over to the sink, West only began to speak to the other boil once he had turned on the water and stuck his head under the faucet. He scrubbed at his hair violently, and kept doing so long after it appeared to be clean.
He squinted at the nergal's setup, thoughts of taking one of the cooking knives and stabbing SR's bird at the forefront of his mind. Sigh. West doubted he'd be able to get out of this room with the thing, or that if he did it would even work when turned against another living being. Rules sucked.
"Yeah, I'can do that," he agreed, shuffling over to the table and picking out a deadly-looking blade. He had at least made the attempt to towel off his hair, but every so often it still dripped. "Dunexpectit t'be pretty." He turned the knife in his off hand, braced some meat against his cast and commenced stabbing.

"I can't blame you for that, He remember how miserable the boy had gotten during the Christmas event, being a cold blooded monster, and all that. "Besides, it's probably better. I'm not sure how a violin would hold up if we ran into any bad weather."
He nodded. "I'm sure we can think of something. I'm not the best cook either, since I mostly know how to make desserts, but there are some things that aren't that difficult to make. Even if we can't use vegetables."
He led the way down to the kitchen, noticing as they entered that they weren't the only ones there. He didn't know why he had thought they would be, there was a prize involved, and he smiled at the other two.
"Hi!" he greeted them, moving to the pantry to see what their options are. "What do you think about a noodle dish, Sepheran?"

(( Still cookin' ))
Sharra watched in idle fascination as the other stuck the majority of his head 'neath the running water. Arching a brow, he sighed softly, goodness, looked like the other had managed to piss off that bird that he'd seen earlier in an attempt at yet another of their chaperons little games. Thus one of the reasons why the nergal had opted out of that challenge. Slingshots were one thing...but climbing up all that way? Heh, quite another.
When West came over, the other boil smirked faintly, ah good, he'd been worried for a moment there. "I have no pity for our cooking materials...have at it...it's only going to be consumed later." After the meat was done, just a couple more minor touches...and he'd have to let the stew simmer for a while, whilst its tempting aroma kept wafting up into the demon's nostrils. Hnnngh. Their trainer certainly wasn't going to be receiving the entirety of this dish.

Toshihiko Two Boils' Bunk --> Deck.
Kasumi bowed to the new boil she'd never met, offering him more of the gumbo she'd made. "There's still plenty left down in the galley. Would you like me to bring you some, sir?" Naturally, she didn't even think to ask the guy's name, let alone let him get his food himself, but when Kasumi got into the Helping Others Mode, she didn't think of much else. Instead, she smiled and awaited his reply. She was nervous to find out what the Screaming Man had to say about the food she'd prepared. She didn't need to eat so... cooking was just something nice to do for others.

Sepheran nodded softly, "Best take care of your instrument too, I don't think the Professor cares much for seeing his instrument damaged too..." the basilisk said remembering the look he gave another student when he had dropped his cello.
Following Myr he let himself be led to the kitchen. "Desserts?" he repeated curiously, maybe he'd have to take lessons from the other sometime. He did have a soft spot for desserts. "Noodles? That sounds like a good idea, seems easy enough to make too, let's give it a try," Sephy added before turning his head in the direction of the other two in the kitchen giving them a small greeting. He recognized the Nergal boy from when they first came aboard.
After his short greeting he moved toward Myr helping him grab whatever ingredients they needed.

(( I want some stew now. ))
"Guess'so," West agreed, continuing to mangle their future food. Every time he managed to stab some of the meat into chunks that looked like they wouldn't choke a person, he tossed them into the pot Sharra had started. When the other two boils came in, he gave them a terse nod. After a few minutes of pointless aggression, West's mood fell back into a pattern more resembling a plateau than a mountain range.
"How'dya like th'boat?" he asked Sharra, not particularly caring whether Sepheran or Myr replied as well. His next bit of snarkery was solely for the nergal, however. "An'ow's yer marid?" West knew perfectly well that their boat wasn't getting the best skellyphone service, but he was frankly thankful for it. The less his mother could bother him, the better.

(( Finishing up in the kitchens, Stew, anyone? ))
Sharra watched for a moment, before adding another dash of spice to the meal. Goodness, but West certainly was feeling cranky...he'd practically murdered their supper before offering it to the pot. Ah well, perhaps it would be a form of stress relief. "The boat's all right...I've gotten texts...apparently it's a little more exciting on some of the other vessels." He chuckled, "So at least people aren't falling overboard here yet, though that would liven things up. How are you liking our boat?"Excluding the bird raining on the other, at least. At the mention of Hadiyya, he made a wistful noise, "She's good, thanks for asking tho...at least, she was in the last text I received." Sharra gestured to his pocket, "I can only imagine what the lag is out here."
Once West was rather done with his vengeance on the beef, the nergal turned down the beef stew to a simmer. It was a hearty meal, of an even thicker consistency than one might usually expect of a stew or chowder. There was a rather copious amount of meat, rather liberally cooked into the dish, and a variety of well-meshed spices added just that zest to taste. Then, he'd put in some noodles...just that bit needed in order to make the stew stand on its own. After a few minutes, he dished out a bowl, letting it thicken. "I do hope our revered trainer likes this..." The nergal muttered.

(( Kitchen to deck! Food for SR! Description in Seph's post! Wheeeeeeee! ))
"The boat's uh... cool," West replied, a surprising lack of venom in his tone. "Though ifsum people start fallin'off th'side, I'm not gonna complain." He grabbed at the bowl and started the long walk back to the deck. "C'mon." He didn't comment further on Yaya's well-being or lack of it, but he might have felt positively about the fact that she wasn't dead, very deep down.
It seemed to take forever to get up to the area below the crow's nest again, and when West reached Crap Central, he noted that Kasumi had now been joined by Barth. He was aware that the sloth demon was on board since they had been forced to sleep in the same room, but he hadn't really had much of a chance to speak to the other boil yet. As for the ghoul, he had seen her around at school but, like most of the students he came across, he had yet to have any real opinion of her.
He held the bowl of stew up toward the crow's nest and shouted, "'Ey look, this's better'th'n any fish junk! Come down 'ere'n'gettit b'fore I eattet all!" At this rate, the Trick or Treater would have food for weeks.

GM EVENT POST 2:2 days seem to pass by slowly, and all was calm. As Malcolm steered the ship forward to their destination while trying to avoid SR's attempts to anger him, it was becoming incredibly boring... Too boring for the Shaman's tastes, really. After all, what are the students to learn if nothing exciting happens while they're on a field tri- OH WHAT IN HALLOWEEN'S NAME IS THAT?
Before he could react, a purple tentacle had reached into the boat, threatening to snap the mast. He abandoned the steering wheel, "VLAD. VLAD, ATTACK." Everyone who was on the deck at that time would see a harness running towards the tentacle, barking loudly, as if asking all the students to GTFO its way. Leaping, Vlad bit into the tentacle to distract it just as something glowing and blue scratched it before vanishing just as Malcolm arrived.
If giant squids could cry out in pain, the attacker would. Instead, in its anger and RAGE of being hurt, it grabbed onto West who was conveniently in its reach, and lifted him off the deck. Luckily, that tentacle had been hurt and it was not able to squeeze the life out of West. Unluckily, as it was squeezing the Wrath Demon, the surge of pain caused by its wounds caused it to recoil... Taking the boil with it, away from the boat and to the ocean.
"Everyone! Come to the deck! We need to safe West!" Malcolm almost growled; ugh, how could he had let this happen on his watch? As the students filter to the deck, he took out a harpoon- Oh wait, not a good idea. Taking out grappling guns and handing one to each of the students, he pointed at the giant squid's tentacle, "Shoot this at that tentacle, and avoid West at all costs! Get him back! WEST, IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, TRY TO WIGGLE YOURSELF FREE."
What to do: West: Roll 1 20-sided die, get a 10 to wiggle yourself free. If West is already free thanks to himself or another student, roll 1 20-sided die and get another 10 to swim back to the boat. Everyone else: Roll 1 10-sided die, get an 8 to cause the tentacle some damage and get West free. If West is already free thanks to himself or another student, roll 1 10-sided die to fire the grappling gun near West to pull him back to the boat using the gun.
You can try unlimited times until West is free and back on the boat.
Summery: - West lost 10HP. Other students did not lose HP; will update front page - 2 days were spent before ATTACK OF GIANT SQUID. - 25 food had been taken - Staff Fear Bonus: Maybe later again |D
OOC NOTE: Keep in mind that these 'daily events' happen ICly and you are supposed to RP the AFTERMATH of it - Pretend that X days had already passed. <3 If you wish to continue any epic RP, just make a PRP (it does count as 1 growth point if you hit the minimum word count); just remember to link it here!
Also, SR had been grabbing and eating the food your student had been giving him without a 'thank you'. I'll be selecting the winners and such after the game's 24 hour time limit is up!Stats Boat size: Large Number of days traveled so far: 1 + 2 = 3 Food: 150 Boat Fear ability: 0 Teacher Bonus: Being BFFs with animals have its benefits! 8D
