Laial cocked his head, listening to Vivina talk about her older brother. "I thi' bein' borin' 'd be be'er tha' bein' anoing." He thought for a second or three. If younger siblings were bad, and older siblings were bad... "den tha' means te bes' seebwins awe een te mee'le!" he exclaimed, not fully relizing he thought the last part out loud.
Maji gave a slight chuckle, apparently Et was as distractable as herself. "What do you think of Vivina?" she repeted, re-wording her question so it made a little more sense.

Vivina had to agree with that. She couldn't imagine an annoying sibling pestering her all day. She looked at Laial thinking and when he spoke aloud, she giggled. "You thunk alowd. Bu' I has to agwee. I tink meedul seebuling gots to be thuh best!"
This time Et was paying attention and blushed. "Oh, sorry about that. What I think of Vivina? She's a sweet and adorable girl. Hyper at times and hard to get her to bed. She's very keen to learning and is madly in love with pink. I find nothing wrong with that and think that she'll grow up to be a lovely young lady. Now if only she goes outside more..." She stopped there and mused on a thought. Yes, Vivina should go out to the park more often. Maybe one day go see a movie?

Laial grinned a bit before he began to scamper up the fake rock in his room. "I'm ruwew o' te wowld!" he exclaimed, tentecles raised around him for emphasis. It wasn't too bad of a display of power, actually.
Maji smiled to herself. "I have the same problem with Laial. It can't be good staying in one area for almost your entire time. He behaves fine now, but..." she left that part hanging. She didn't even what to think about possible social problems later.

Vivina clapped and giggled. "All hayle King Laial!" Vivina rolled on the carpet and looked up at him. She quickly then grabbed the crown from earlier and placed it on Laial's head. "Now you are a rooluh!" She looked at Laial from a few feet away. You know, Laial makes a pretty handsome king.
Et laughed. "I can see where that's going..." She finished the rest of her tea and gave the cup back to Maji. "Eek, looking at the clock, I suppose it's time for me and Vivina to leave. I've nearly forgotton that Vivina's "dad" is supposed to come home today." So that's what's been bothering her. Her love was returning home from his trip today. How could she possibly forget? "I suppose Vivina should still be in Laial's room."

Laial puffed his chest proudly and grinned. This was so fun! He began to giggle.
Maji chucked lightly at Et's first reply. "Do you now?" she asked with fake surprise. However, she listened to the rest of the statement, showing a slightly confused expressing. "Her 'dad'? Aren't the donators of genes to the D-Corp children confidential? And probably." It never occured to Maji that Et was talking about a person not related to D-Corp, other than knowing Et and Vivina. She had put the thought of a romantic relationship out of her head when she bacame a teenageer, and had fogotton all about it.

Vivina clapped some more and bowed down to Laial just like she saw in the movies with kings and queens. "What eef you wur ackchooalee a king? Tha'd be so cool!"
Et paused. "Oh sorry. My husband has gotten himself to be called dad by Vivina. No one's heard of him since he's never home. His job takes him all around the world. Sometimes I wish he wasn't such an explorer." She laughed hesitatantly and and forced out a smile. No one could have possibly guessed her married, but then again she didn't indicate any hint of her having a signifigant other other than the engagement ring she uses for formal occasions.

Laial gasped, his eyes widening. "Tha' wou' be so kewl! Li' mi fa'ew wa' a keen, an' he donate 'o D-Cowp, an dey use heem fur da pa'ens of sum o' teh kids! Wouln tha be kewl?!" he half-shouted excitedly.
"Wha...oh." That just made Maji fell completely stupid. "An explorer? What exactly do you mean by that?" She was curious; she didn't hear things much.

Vivina giggled. "Then yu'd be faymus n' rich! Wundur who donat'd for me? Sum things we're not suppos'd to kno." Whomever did donate must have had natural pink hair. Now who would have naturally pink hair? She shrugged slightly to herself and rolled over on the floor.
Et stopped and paused again. "He's an archaeologist. He goes wherever he feels and does whatever to find stuff from long ago and whatnot. He hardly ever has the time and patience to stay home for a little while. Sigh...but I can't get between him and his passion. Maybe someday when he's done all he wants is when he can finally relax and spend time with Colin and Vivina." She let her mind wander as she left for Laial's room. She knocked on the door, pausing to hear laughter and the all too familiar giggling of Vivina. "Vivina honey, are you in there? Can I come in?"

Maji got up and walked twoards Laial's room. She was interested in seeing how Laial would react to a stranger not his age. He never met another adult before, so this should prove interesting.
Laial immediatly stopped giggling when the adult entered the room. He cocked his head and almost glared at the intrusion. Almost. He came very close. So close that Maji was debating to punish him or not for being rude. "Who are you?" he decided to ask. He couldn't say 'no' right away, even if he didn't want anyone in his room without permission.

Et blinked at Laial's sudden demand. That's right, she hadn't formally introduced herself to him when she first arrived. "Oh, I'm Vivina's mother. I see you two have been enjoying this time together. I'm so sorry for interrupting, but it's time for Vivina to go. I remembered that Vivina's father's coming home tonight. You remember daddy don't you Vi?"
Vivina nudged Laial and whispered. "Thas me mommy." She stood up and ran over to Et. "Yus! We had lo's of fun! We pla'eed prutend and Laial got to be king uv tha wurld!" When Vivina heard that she had to leave, she frowned. "Alweady? Bu' I was havin' fun! Bu' eef daddy's cumin' home, then I ish happee! I mees heem!" She jumped up and down happily and soon calmed down. "Aw, Laial...I wanna pay sum mor, but I wanna see daddy also...mebe next time we c'n play agin?" She smiled and gave Laial a hug the best she could without tripping over his tentacles.

Laial continued to almost glare at the adult while she was talking. He decided he didn't like this adult that much. She wanted his new playmate to leave. When Vivina started to agree, though, Laial sighed. Relizing that the woman must be the watcher of Vivina, he couldn't argue with her. "Ja, mak suwe yu com ba'," he nodded. A bit surprised when she hugged him. She got to analyze him? Did that mean he could analyze her again? Slowly, as if almost unsure of himself, his tentecles gently wrapped around her. This being his own, unique way of a 'hug'.
Maji smiled slighty as she saw Laial interact with Vivina. Yep, she was not going to hear the end of this later... An evil thought forming in her head, she quickly took out her camera from her pocket. Setting the setting to 'non-flash', she snapped a picture of them 'hugging' each other. Maji had plans for the picture...oh yes....

Giggling, Vivina replyed. "I will! I'll make shur!" As she was about to leave, she noticed that Laial was returning the hug, or so it seemed. She giggled again as his tentacles tickled her. "Eee! It tickuls lots!" Grinning, she stood there and continued to giggle.
Et nearly laughed out loud when Laial hesitantly returned the hug. It seemed as if he wasn't quite used to hugs. Then she looked over at Maji whom have seemed to have acquired a camera. She couldn't help but to smile, wondering what Maji would be doing with the picture. "Aw...You're a really nice boy, Laial. I hope that we can get to know each other later. Come on Vivina, we got lots of planning to do." With a flick of her hair, she led Vivina to the door, thanking Maji again for the the visit and tea, and began the walk back to her own house.
((Maji's plotting something....>> And the two are completely clueless xD Interesting...
erm, I guess it's over then? >>; ))
