It was pretty late (around 3 am) when everyone finally left the bar leaving her alone with Victor. or was it Victor alone with her? She had done more than one performance, they crowd had asked for it so who was she to deny them. AFter all it was here job to be the music entertainment. Putting on her jacket she was ready to leave but decided to stick around a bit longer even though she was feeling exhausted. "Hey... Victor could I have a drink or are you off your shift yet?" She was joking around with him, she was sure he'd give her a drink, or well she was hoping he would. Yawning softly she sat down at the bar and held her head in her hand. "Gah... I'm exhausted... It's been quite a day...." Pausing for a moment she looked at Victor. "Sooo.... now that you're technically my boss isn't there some sort of special treatment I have to go by like for example calling you sir?" She tilted her head at him as she asked this while she smirked playfully as she was once again just teasing him.

Victor smiled at Sierra when she asked for a drink and he said, "Sure thing, one vodka martini coming right up." Victor prepared the drink while glancing in Sierra's direction, listening to what she was saying. He finished making the drink and set it down in front of Sierra, laughing at her question. He smiled and said, "Just Victor is fine. All you have to do is remember that I'm the boss now, nothing other than that is necessary." Victor smiled and watched Sierra, not really looking fr anything in particular, just watching. He remembered that he wanted to talk to Sierra about how much she was being paid and said, "You know... now that I have control over the place... I saw how much you're getting paid for this. I don't think it's enough." Victor thought for a moment and continued, "What would you say to... one act a night on weekdays, with Monday off. Two acts on weekends, and an increase to around... $1000 a week?" Victor smiled, the club was always in the black, shorthand for making profits, and the boss had been keeping everyone's pay the same, despite regular increases in revenue; it was looking like killing him might have been a good thing for more than just Victor.

Seirra blinked. Was he really giving her a raise? Yes, yes he was. "Whoa... Now a raise was the last thing expected." She took a sip from her drink as she thought it over. 1000 dollars a week was a pretty good deal, especially when she compared it to the other pay she had. "I'll take it." She replied smiling at him. "I'd be an idiot if I refused a raise, it wouldn't be normal"

Victor smiled and said, "Well, I had to ask, randomly doubling your money didn't seem like the right thing to do." Victor yawned and poured himself a glass of ice water; drinking wasn't a very good idea for him. He walked around the bar, sitting on the stool next to Sierra and smiling as he did. He paused a moment, taking a sip from his glass of water and saying, "Well, now that I'm in charge... I'm gonna make this place even better. I'll turn it into THE place to be. Everyone is gonna wanna come here... and they'll want to come here 'cause of you." Victor smiled at Sierra and took a long drink from his glass of water, thinking things over. He stayed quiet a long time before he said, "I'm glad you decided to stay. I doubt this place would have survived losing you and the boss..." Victor was telling the truth. Even though Sierra had just started yesterday, he was sure whatever 'loyal' patrons they had would follow after her to wherever else she decided to work. He sighed and said, "You know, you're really talented. You should put that to good use... what are you doing working in dives like this place? Not that I'm complaining, I love your act, I just find it kinda odd how someone with your talent escaped the record companies' eyes." Victor did find it a bit odd that Sierra would be working in a place like this, but he wasn't terribly suspicious, not everyone was lucky enough to make it big. Despite only having really known her for a very short time, Victor liked Sierra. She seemed like a good person, and she reminded him a little of his sister, who was the only person Victor might have had a problem killing.

"Yes randomly doubling it would have been weird." She finished her drink as Victor kept talking asking her something many had already asked before. "Ah..." She set her empty glass on the counter. "I have been approuched by record companies' before. I've just denied them." She paused for a moment as she took her time with her explanation. "I'm not sure if it is what I want, for various reasons. Its more stressful and time consuming, and my last motive is I don't know if I want to be famous." She shrugged. "At least not at the moment. Besides I like working at clubs, I get free drinks." She was joking about this part. "What about you, was it always your dream to be some bartender?"

Victor chuckled at Sierra's list of reasons why she turned down the record companies. It made sense to Victor, but that was because if he was famous, it would be quite difficult to perform assassinations. He laughed at her comment about free drinks and replied to her question saying, "Not especially... I can't really remember what I wanted to do... But I've been bartending since I was fifteen... I worked at my uncle's old place and when I turned 21, I came to work in this city. Soon after, I started working here... Been here ever since." Victor took another sip of his water and yawned, he was tired. What Victor said wasn't the whole story obviously. He had left out the part where he had a mysterious entity living inside him, who used him to perform assassinations for a mysterious guild for reasons unknown to Victor. All Victor knew was that he was stuck with the entity for the time being. Victor smiled at Sierra and asked, "Well, what about you? Was it always your dream to become a singer in bars like this one?"

Seirra with a quick movement of her hand put her pink hair back into place, for some of her locks had been falling onto the counter until then. She simply nodded gently at Victors reply to her question. "I see." She took in a breath when asked if she had dream about singing in clubs. "Um... No... It never crossed by mind when I was little...." She wsn't lying, there were very few things she thought about as a child. Her childhood had been a dark one and every memory of it she avoided recalling at all costs. "I never had an idea of what I wanted to do... I've always like music though, it's my refuge. Someone heard me sing once and offered me a gig in his club when I was 17. Be making my money like that every since." She took a look at him empty glass as her mind wondered for a moment back to those days. Most of it had been good but there were a couple of huge mistakes she had made due to being young, naive and ignorant.

Victor could tell something was up when Sierra heard his question. Maybe she didn't like talking about her past and Victor just asked the wrong question. He winced slightly, but quickly returned his expression to normal and listened to Sierra's answer. It sounded like a decent way to live, and since she liked to sing, it was doing what she wanted to do. Victor sighed and thought for a moment, "Don't do it man. It's not gonna end well. People like her don't respond well to dating an assassin!" A voice in Victor's head sounded, trying to talk him out of the question he was about to ask, but it didn't work. Victor looked at Sierra, smiled and asked, "Would you like to have dinner sometime? I know a couple great places to eat around here." Victor smiled, he hoped he hadn't just blown it, and he waited for Sierra's answer.

Snapping out of her trip down memory lane she blinked at his question. Dinner? She thought about it for a moment. He was pretty good looking and from what she could tell nice too. The only issue she was having with it was she would be having dinner with her boss, that didn't always go well. At least that was how it was in movies. "Hmm...." Getting up she smiled at him softly. "You have my number." This was her way of saying yes. He could call or text saying when and where whenever he wanted. Saying nothing else she'd wave as she headed out the door.

Once Sierra had left, Victor shut everything off and locked the club up before leaving. He stood on the street next to the entrance, closed his eyes and took a deep breath and teleported. Reappearing inside a building with dull gray walls and florescent lighting, Victor sighed and walked down the cold stone hallway to a large set of wooden double doors. Pushing them open, his eyes quickly had too adjust to the relative darkness of the room. He stepped forward and the doors closed behind him, eliminating the florescent lighting and leaving only a few oil lamps flickering. Victor sighed and said, his voice doubling again, "Let's get this over with. I don't like this place. Always so ominous." As soon as Victor stopped speaking, another voice rang out, seemingly from nowhere, "We need you to deal with a problem we have. The assassin that's killing off our members, we need them dealt with. The files and information we have on them have been transferred to your computer. And remember, we don't tolerate failure very well, you will kill this assassin, or else." Victor and his entity scoffed at the same time and said, "That's what you called us all the way down here for? It couldn't have just been a message attached to the files? Whatever, consider this assassin assassinated." Victor turned and teleported home sitting on his couch while looking at the files of the killer. They had almost nothing on the killer, it was pathetic, Victor was sure he could have done a better job himself. He spent the night looking over the files, falling asleep on the couch. He woke up late and strolled into work like he owned the place. Oh wait, he did. He sat at his new desk and held his head in his hand, nursing a massive headache that came from nowhere.

Seirra slept pretty peaceful that night. Not having any work the next day she slept in and when she did wake up she simply laid there on her bed staring at the ceiling. She was still a bit surprised Victor had actually asked her out. She hadn't expected it but maybe that was because it had been a while since she had actually dated anyone. As she thought about it she wondered if having said yes had really been such a good idea. She was an assassin, what would happen if he found out? Was it really possible for her to actually love someone? Love was something she hadn't really ever experienced. There were times she thought she had but she had been wrong. After a while she decided to stop thinking about it. It was just one dinner. So there was really no need to make such a fuss out of it, was there?

Sighing she got out of bed and decided to get some of her assassin's work down. Since she was at home she didn't bother actually getting dressed, she simply stayed in what she had slept in which was her underwear and a tank top. Getting a cup of coffee she would sit down on the couch with her laptop in front of her. Opening some files she looked at all of the hosts that were killed. "They're all lower ranks, their abilities aren't very strong no wonder they were killed so easily...." Well.... you also have to remember that because their abilities are basically weak the other hosts don't bother about keeping them safe. What her entity said was true and Seirra knew it all too well, but she didn't agree to it. All hosts were important, they deserved to live. Just because some were weaker doesn't mean they could just be killed off. "I doubt the other assassin is going to simply kill off all the weak ones... sooner or later he's going to target the other ones..." Taking a sip out of her coffee she sighed.

Victor sighed as the minutes rolled by. He didn't feel like bartending today, and now that he owned the club, he didn't have to. He opened the drawer of the desk and took out a few aspirin, downing them with a glass of water and sighing as he felt his headache slowly fade away. He yawned lightly and looked down at his desk, listening to the low music that was being played in the background. He reached for his phone and dialed Sierra's number. When she picked up he said, "Sierra? Hi, it's Victor. I was wondering, since you have the day off, and I'm not doing much around the club today... you want to have dinner tonight?" He was smiling to himself, he hoped she said yes, because simply staying at the club doing nothing all night wasn't exactly a fun evening for him. In the back of his mind, he heard a voice say, "Oh oh! And while we're at dinner you can tell her about how you killed the CEO of that company with nothing more than a matchstick and a fork, that'll be a good conversation topic!"

Hearing something Seirra quickly blinked her eyes opened. It seemed she had fallen asleep. Searching for her phone she answered it. It didn't take long for Victors voice to be heard. "Dinner? Tonight?" She thought about it for a moment. She had been about to say yes right away but she didn't want to give Victor the message she was too eager or something similar. After a few seconds she answered. "Yeah it can be tonight. When and where?"

Victor sat at the table in the restaurant. It was around 6 PM, and Victor had gotten to the restaurant earlier than he expected and was simply sipping a glass of water when Sierra arrived. Standing up when she approached the table, he pulled out her chair for her and said, "Glad you could make it." He sat back in his chair and took another sip of his water and smiled at Sierra. He was happy she decided to come to dinner with him, not only because it was better than just hanging around in the club, but also because he really enjoyed her company. He sighed and said, "You look great, not that that's any change from you normally looking great. I mean... um... Thanks for coming to dinner with me." Victor kicked himself mentally, why was he so nervous? It was just dinner, and it wasn't like he hadn't taken girls out before. He sighed and smiled, taking another sip of his water and staying silent to prevent him from saying something stupid again.

Arriving at the restaurant Sierra glanced around for a moment in an attempt to spot Victor. She didn't see him at first but then one of the waitors came to her requesting if she was meeting anyone. Calmly she told him who, once she did the waitor nodded and told her which direction her date was in. Smiling at him she let him pull her chair for him. "That isn't necessary you know." She was mainly just messing around, she really didn't care if he pull out her chair or not. She was fine with either but having ones chair pulled was nice. When he went to complimenting her looks she simply tilted her head as it was clear it his speech was not like it normally was, something was different and she was pretty sure she knew what it was. "Are you nervous?" She smiled at him curiously a bit amused with the situation.
