Trying to decipher what the girl was telling him didn't help with his pounding head for sure. Rubbing his forehead, Jericho stared at the mask, not understanding what the issue was. All that he got was that she couldn't fetch it and she was starting to freak out because of that.
Something else was scaring her too, and she was trying to get him to help her out.
The dragon mainly didn't get the reasoning for any for this.
"Ugh, why can't you get it yourself?" he grumbled. He felt like he was the one who took more damage during their scuffle. At first, she was closer to the mask as well, before she decided to back away from it.

Savior tapped the sides of her head frantically, trying to find words to use to describe what she needed. Had she heard someone say it before, the word she wanted? The Marrowstripe was a sponge when it came to learning words, that much was certain, but if she hadn't heard it before there was certainly not a chance she could say it it. But then - yes! "Can't get, dead. Can't get, dead."
She hoped that repeating herself would sort of show what she wanted, and she pointed at the kushi when she said 'dead', then back at the mask for 'can't get'. The dragon certainly couldn't be so heartless that he wouldn't help her, right? She didn't even remember what the fight was for.

Listening and watching the marrowstripe as carefully as his throbbing head would allow, Jericho frowned while again trying to decipher things. There was something about the kushi being dead and that she couldn't get the mask. He didn't get how the two would be related, not quite knowing her aversion to dead things.
"Mmph, whatever," he grumbled while crawling over to grab the mask. He winced as he had grabbed it with his right hand, feeling the sharp pain in his finger.
With a flick of the wrist, he flung it at the girl standing some distance away, then started to slowly bring himself back to his feet.
"Happy?"

" . . . " It didn't take long for Savior to tackle her mask and put it on, nor did it take her long to turn and look over at the boy struggling to get to his feet. Part of Savior remembered that she was the one who inflicted those wounds just as he'd inflicted wounds on her, but there was a section of her that was far more grateful that he returned her mask. With it secured and in place she started over towards him, her steps easy enough knowing that he wasn't in a state to exactly run away from her, and Savior paused for a brief moment before she fully helped him get to his feet. "Okay?"
She looked over his wounds and frowned behind her mask at the puncture she'd made to his chest, her hand pausing over it, but seeing as she didn't feel any air blowing out with each breath he was clearly taking she didn't seem to frazzled. The bleeding was also stopping so she hadn't killed him - Savior wasn't sure if she'd regret taking the life of someone else at the school just yet. She didn't know the whole "you respawn in the nurse's office" bit but that still wouldn't have meant anything to her. She thought it probably would be in bad taste to have a corpse on her hands.

The mask must have been rather important to the girl for her to snatch it up like that in a heartbeat. He didn't really understand why. As far as he knew, masks were generally used to hide something. Barely anything else on her was covered, which made it all the more curious for him. It wasn't as if she was ugly or anything either.
Being helped back up to his feet, Jericho stared in confusion for she seemed mildly worried about the wounds she had inflicted onto him. He wasn't sure if he should be feeling more humiliated about losing because of this. This was a strange girl for sure.
"As ok as I can get right now," he answered unhappily.
"Um.. you?"

"Savior." While it was clearly not what was being asked of her Savior went ahead and gave her name anyway, somehow noticing that there was a severe lack of people telling her their names or her telling them hers. It didn't matter in the long run since she'd forget them anyway but certainly no one would forget her. Savior had that effect on people or so it seemed.
As for how she was doing, with her face closer to the boy's it was easy for him to see what his flames had done to her. For all that she'd managed to dodge she had a massive burn against her cheek that spread up to her temples; only where her mask was did her face have some protection. The skin was blistering and muscle could be seen along with. . . what appeared to be teeth. Normally there would have been bone after muscle but in Savior's case it looked like several large, pointy teeth lined the sides of her cheeks.
"Help youse." Savior moved so that more of the monster's weight could have been supported on her, even if eventually he could walk on his own. Out in the wilds she would have left him to die and not even shed a tear but when she'd asked him for help he had given her back her mask. It was in the Marrowstripe's mind that kindness must be repaid in kindness.

Jericho tilted his head at her response. At first he thought she was talking about a savior, but quickly realized that was her name.
"Um.. Jericho," he blinked as he gave his name in return. The burns he had given her looked pretty nasty for sure, but she didn't seem to be all too phased by them. He was able to see what looked like large teeth through her cheeks. They looked considerably bigger than what he would have expected of the girl.
Now she was offering to help him, it seemed, as it looked like she was trying to at least help him walk. The dragon was still somewhat confused about all of this, but he supposed it was because he helped her get the mask back. He was now torn on whether he should accept the help. She had denied him his snack and ended up beating him down as a result of that after all. Yet, despite the fact that he had injured her a fair amount as well, and had a hand in the kushi's death, she was reaching out to him.
"..thanks..." he mumbled as he accepted her offer, though he wasn't planning on using her for support for long, ".. Just long enough till I can walk on my own again."

"Okay." There was a sort of hollow sound that issued forth from Savior after she spoke, a grating noise that could have been interpreted as a . . .giggle? Was Savior actually happy now that her moment had passed and she was doing something else? The body of the kushi was still in the area and its presence was affecting the Marrowstripe in small, subtle ways, so the monster looked around before deciding what to do. "Where." She had no earthly idea where to take this 'Jericho' (she assumed that was his name or else it was whatever he was) and he didn't seem to be offering up solutions on where to go either.
She could take him back on one of her trails with her, not that she knew where they lead, but Savior wasn't so sure he wouldn't bleed out before they got there or she wasn't walking both of them into a trap of some sort. Marrowstripes could care for themselves, Females most of all, but they were not made to fight and defend someone. If Savior ever had to fight to protect another person and herself at the same time, someone was going to die - and it wasn't going to be here. "Go where." She repeated the question, just in case.

Furrowing his brow at the grating noise, Jericho had to wonder just how her voice sounded the way it did. It didn't seem like something vocal chords could really pull off.
"Uh.. Monster dorms," he answered, motioning in the general direction. Though, he figured she'd know where that was since she was a monster as well. He figured he better rest up a bit first, then see about getting patched up. The dragon didn't really want to visit the Nurse, not wanting to have to explain just how he got the injuries. But, he knew of at least one student who could help him out. While he was in his room, he might be able to at least clean the cuts he had to some extent.

"Wait." The monster stopped in her steps as she closed her eyes for a moment, her head turning in a different direction then they were walking. For a brief period of time she held an expression that looked peaceful, serene, but it soon passed and Savior started them back on walking. She had smelled something on the wind, her own scent calling to her from a place far off, but she had decided not to look into it for now. It was something she would seek out later, seeing as her scent never left anything no matter what weather came. "Dorms."
While it would have just been easy to have Jericho tell her the correct way to get there Savior instead followed what looked to be like an odd path, her steps leading the pair in a long circle that eventually brought them to the front of the dorm rooms. Savior glanced up at the building and tilted her head to the side, her mind taking in what lay before her and trying to place why she could smell her scent faintly on this place. She couldn't recall ever being in there (not a surprise) and from how little the smell of citrus came from the front door it was clear she'd spent few time inside anyway. "Dorms?"

To the red dragon's confusion, they ended up taking a rather roundabout path to the dorms. He didn't get why, but he decided not to question it right now. From what he's gathered of Savior so far, she seemed to be just an unorthodox person in many ways.
"Yeah.. this is it. Thanks," he said again, a though a little begrudgingly, "I should be able to walk on my own now.. So you can... go back to whatever it was you were doing."
After he said this, he tried to pull away so he could stand on his own strength again. Jericho still looked shaky, but he did recover some during their trip back to this building.

Savior was skeptical (or as skeptical as she could afford to be) that Jericho was alright as he pushed off from her and started forward, and she moved up and placed both of her hands on one of his arms. Her grip wasn't mean, it wasn't possessive, but she wasn't exactly doing it out of concern either. It was meant to act only as a single steady point until he could get back whatever it was he wanted and continue on his way. She didn't know how to say things like 'you're welcome' or 'no problem' just yet so she couldn't give him a proper send off, nor did anything like 'good-bye' exist in her small dictionary.
"Jericho okay." She released his arm and took a few steps into the dorms herself, curious as to follow the sand trail that she could sense. She may or may not have been in the building before and she eagerly motioned for the dragon to follow her. Perhaps there was something she wanted to share?

"Yeah.. I'm fine.." he mumbled to her, thinking that she asked if he was alright. Jericho had paused for the moment as she grabbed onto his arm, but then she had released him and walked on after him. He just figured that she was planning on heading into her own room, wherever it was exactly.
"Guess..I'll see you around," he said, wanting to get back to his room, but then he saw her motioning to him to follow her.
"Eh?"
Furrowing his brow, he went on to step behind her, though he really didn't know what it was she wanted now.
