s**t. Crap crap crap crap.. s**t. A string of limited curses sped through her mind despite the fact her face merely showed a growing, concerned frown. Crap, what the hell was she supposed to do? He'd remember it eventually, that was now a morbid fact. Crap...
Clearly Lucas was not nearly as sure of this as he would like to be, that much was clear. Inwardly Claire wished Morrison really had escaped with his life, then Lucas wouldn't be having these nightmares, and the worst of the memories he remembered would be over. Arceus, why did Luke have to go and kill Morrison? Seriously. "I don't know how you could do something like that, Lucas," she said with a frown. No, not Lucas - but Luke could, and did. But they were essentially the same person, different personalities or not, and that was pretty much the only thing that mattered. "I know talking doesn't usually get rid of nightmares though, so.." Her brows knitted together, trying to come up with some sort of solution. No, those nightmares would probably plague him for some time to come. "Do you think having Merry use Hypnosis on you would work..?" He still might have nightmares though, but at least she could make sure he actually slept..

"I don't think I killed him," he said, shaking his head slowly. "I mean, I was friends with him since... practically since I was first recruited. I was like, thirteen or something. Maybe fourteen. We disagreed every now and then, but... There's nothing in the world he could have done that would make me want to kill him." There was no doubt in his words; Lucas was deeply and truly of the belief that Morrison lived yet.
He tilted his head slightly in consideration of her suggestion. "Falling asleep's not really the problem," he replied with a thoughtful hum. "Generally I sleep through the night, even. I just kind of... wake up feeling like I was never asleep." Thank goodness Droid was so helpful with work or else Lucas would never have been able to make any progress.

No, Lucas would never want to kill Morrison, and she was sure Luke didn't either. That didn't mean that it didn't happen, of course - after all, traitors had to be taken care of before they became a problem. The thoughts made her shiver slightly and she released her hair as her hand fell back down to her side with a sigh. Crap, why did things have to turn out this way? But at least he hadn't remembered it yet. Not yet, but she couldn't help the thought that he would eventually.
"I don't really know what you should do then," she said as her brows furrowed again, violet eyes studying the tiles on the floor thoughtfully as if they would suddenly give her the answer. Unsurprisingly, they didn't. "Maybe Isadora would know how to help..?" It was a shot in the dark, but it was a shot nonetheless. If the psychologist couldn't help directly, maybe she'd know where Lucas could go to get help.

"Ah, well... I guess. Maybe." He was still quite hesitant to speak with Isadora after blatantly disregarding her wish that he keep guns away from himself, but he would need to deliver her gun when it was finished anyway... "Honestly I'll probably just wait it out. If it's anything like the dreams I used to have, they'll ebb off eventually. Not really sure why I've started having dreams like this again anyway, so it's probably just some random thing." A slight shrug accompanied his words. Random though they were, they were no less distressing for it, and he hoped that they would stop sooner rather than later.

Maybe? Well, he certainly sounded hesitant to speak to the psychologist again, which couldn't help the questions of what his reaction was to remembering he was an assassin, since he'd recalled that memory in her company. It was a note she wanted to speak to Isadora about eventually, whenever she got the chance to see her again.
Just wait it out? "Are you sure?" She asked, brows knitted thoughtfully with a hint of concern. Random thing nothing. And what if they didn't go away? Which they more than likely wouldn't, at least not until after he fully remembered the event.

"Well, I don't really know what else I could do..." Disregarding that Claire had already given other options - a couple of them, in fact. Quite simply, he had already made up his mind to do nothing about it. Dreams were immaterial things that did not affect and were not affected by reality, or that was the belief that kept a dangerous realization far from Lucas's conscious mind. "So yeah. I guess I'm as sure as I can be." A slight shrug accented the nonchalant nature of his words, though the immense weariness persisted in his expression.

"Alright," she said slowly, relenting even though her tone showed she was far from reassured by his words. She pushed herself from the wall with a shrug of her shoulders, sighing lightly as she did so. "I'd better go, I need to get some sleep after dealing with Blue all day." Arceus, she really needed to get some toys for the little chewing menace.. Hopefully they'd help curb her habit of chewing valuables. And people. Especially people.
She remained where she stood for a few more moments, however, a concerned frown evident on her features. "Take care of yourself, okay? Try and get more sleep anyway." Even if he woke up feeling like he hadn't slept, eventually he had to get some decent sleep if he slept enough, right? Right. At least, that's how it worked in her tired mind at the moment. "I'll see you later." Sometime. Eventually. Right now, her mind was screaming sleep at her, preventing much else from entering her thoughts, so with a wave and that farewell, if he had nothing else to say, she turned to walk back to her dorm.

"Okay." Sleep sounded good, as much as he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep well. He, too, moved away from the wall, sparing a glance in the direction of the pokeball containing the menace of a Porygon. Maybe he'd put a little more work towards one of his guns... With Droid's help, he speculated that he might even finish one. He resisted the urge to raise an eyebrow when Claire spoke again. "Uh, okay... Right. See you around." Why should she care how much sleep he got? It wasn't as though she had any place to worry about him... Well, whatever. As she turned towards the dorms, he turned back towards the armory, breathing a faint sigh as he went.
