So I ran into Gemini the other day. We started talking and I brought up the fact that all of the girls at school are talking about her. Seems Gemini had a run in with the swim team girls, who are all a bunch of stuck up snobs, one day. Seems they noticed that Gemini was checking out Kai who is a guy on the boy's swim team. One girl mentioned that Gemini didn't have the proper parts so why would he be interested. See completely stuck up snobs.

Anyways these girls are spreading some nasty rumors about her. I feel bad so I told her what was going on. Also told her that she needs to stand up for herself and talk back. Dish out the smack talk. But she insists that its not the right thing to do. And she even brought that Conan wouldn't like it. Pfft those two need to just realize some things.

So since she isn't really likely to stand up for herself I think I'm going to step up. The swim girls need to be taught a lesson. Just like those cheerleaders.

This weekend I decided to go into the Garden and do some work there. The Garden still needs lots of work to bring it back to the way it was. So I try to go and help out.

Well today while I was working I happened to be planting some violets and getting rid of the weeds. It was while I was weeding that I heard this strange melody. I looked around expecting some one else to be there. Instead there was just a butterfly. I shrugged and went back to work.

Finally when I was done the butterfly flew past me and I heard the melody again. It landed on the violets I had just planted. I carefully got close and put my ear near the butterfly. The noise was coming from it! "Oh wow. You can hum! I've never...." I said but the butterfly was quickly flying off.

I got up and started chasing it heading further to the northern part of the Garden. I then saw a huge.... huge... I dunno what you call a whole lot of butterflies but there were so many of them! I also saw Calli there. I started talking to her and she said they were FlutterBugs and that they can be the pets of us dreams.

Finding that out was so cool! I mean I could get another pet, a pet from the Garden. I began looking through all of the FlutterBugs trying to find the one from before. Finally I spotted her, don't ask how I know her gender, at a patch of violets. "You must really like violets.... please don't run again! I just want to be friends. I can plant more violets if you want." I called out. That seemed to catch her attention. She followed me back to where I had been before and fluttered around me happily.

I decided to call her Qing and for now she'll stay at the Garden. She's too shy to leave right now.

Remember that time I ran into Gemini and we talked? Well we also spoke about our gym class and how it is getting close to the swimming portion. I made the comment that I didn't know how to swim, or if I'd even be able to. I mean have you seen my legs? Not exactly the best swim kicking legs.

Anyways she made me the offer to go swimming in her pond to practice and she'd teach me. So when it was a really nice hot day I decided to take her up on it. I walked over to Corny's house, said hello to her, and found Gemini out in the pond. I quickly shed my outer clothes revealing a string bikini that is bright green.

We started in the shallow end and discovered that I couldn't kick well at all. I can handle just standing in the water but trying to do a proper swim stroke didn't work. Gem thought maybe I needed deeper water for it to work. So she helped me to the middle of the pond where it was over my head...... as we quickly discovered when I began to sink. I wasn't able to break the surface either as a) I couldn't kick properly.... only flail around and b) I just naturally sink. I guess my hooves and head weight too much. I mean if you think about it my skill is thicker as I am growing horns even if they are small right now.

Gem quickly grabbed me and swam me to the shallow end. I wasn't in any true danger because Gem is such a strong swimmer..... but it did frighten me a bit. I don't really want to go into deep water again. I can handle shallow areas but as soon as the water gets near my head or over it.... I'll probably just freak out.

Alright typically I'd be a home writing something in here after school. Well not today. See I'm in the hospital. Have been since yesterday. Blue had to get this for me so I could write this down. I ended up drowning yesterday at school.

All started yesterday during gym class. It was swim week and the day I could put my plan to stop Roxie's bullying of Gem. I was planning on setting up a bet with Roxie, sweetening the deal until she couldn't resist. Naturally the plan worked wonderfully with the way I worded it. Roxie was too dumb to catch on and thus I was able to get Gem to be my proxy. With Gem racing it would boost her standing with the those in the class but also put Roxie in her place.

I feel a little bad with how I got Gem to agree, I mentioned Kai's name and she all but jumped me. The teacher came in and then announced the length of the race. Gem naturally beat Roxie. Roxie wasn't happy but Gem practically became a hero with the class. Mr. Wellington called everyone to the shallow end and before I could follow, Roxie's goons moved me closer to the pool. Roxie then pushed me in, knowing I couldn't swim.

I ended up sinking to the bottom and basically died. I don't remember much after that but apparently I owe Conan my life. He was passing by and dove in to save me. What really sucks is that Mr. Wellington gave me CPR. EW!!!!! And when I was finally out of it and able to 'talk' I told Mr. Wellington what happened. Roxie denied it! HOW DARE SHE!!!!!! But she got what she deserved. She's been expelled.

I'm stealing this now. It was horrible walking by and hearing Nergüi call out followed by a splash. Naturally I ran in and dove in the pool after her. I'm just glad that Mr. Wellington knows CPR. I'll have to go learn it now.

Once she was conscious and told us what happened, I felt rage like I've never felt before. I felt like I could kill Roxie for what she did. Instead I shoved it down and took Nergüi to the nurse's office. On the way I ran into Kristopher. I told him to get Blue because Nergüi had been pushed into the pool and had nearly died from drowning. He rushed off and I continued on.

At the nurse's office, she was checked out and seemed fine. The nurse said that she should still go to the hospital to get a more thorough check-up. I nodded and watched over Nergüi as she rested. The principle came in not too long after that and asked Nergüi some questions. She then nodded and walked out but not before saying that parents were being called and would be here soon.

Alright you told your part. Let others have a chance. After Conan ran into me. I ran out of the school and flew to Blue's work. The school wasn't going to get a hold of her otherwise. When I told Blue what happened she paled and then got a scary look on her face. I'll admit it. She was scary with how pissed she was.

Anyways I flew her to the school. We arrived not too long after Roxie's parents who were in the principle's office arguing with her about how Roxie would never do such a thing. I followed Blue to the nurse's office and we checked on Nergüi. I will say this.... if given the chance Roxie will never survive if she meets either me or Conan in a dark alley.

Boys! Quit taking Nergüi's journal! Jeez..... well after checking in on Nergüi I stormed into the principle's office. Naturally I demanded to know what was going to be done to punish those who tried to kill my ward! That girl's parents were so outraged at that especially when the principle began saying that suspension was very likely. I told her that expulsion was more likely after nearly killing another student. (By now the other girls who hung out with Roxie had admitted to what had really happened and were suspended).

The mother started shouting at me and I yelled back at her that she was lucky I wasn't considering suing them or pressing charges. Then the father started yelling and the mother slapped me. Slapped me. I wasn't having any of that..... so I punched her. My fist hurt so bad but she fell to the ground like a sack of potatoes. And I told them they can expect to now hear from the police and my lawyer as I was pressing charges and suing them for whatever damages I could get.

Will you guys give me back my journal! God! Go write in your own!!!!!! .... well now you see what's happened and why I'm in the hospital.

So after I came home from the hospital Blue left and then came back with a dew. I was kinda excited because the dew was clearly female. It would be nice to have another female dream in the house. I even volunteered to help pick out Charis' outfit the next day.

Well when the day came I got on Blue's laptop and began looking for outfits. Naturally I looked at the kinds of outfits I like but thought they would also look good on Charis. Not that I knew what she'd look like when she grew. But every time I showed her an outfit she rang out disapprovingly. Finally no matter what I did she was ringing out like that.

It made me so mad! How dare she reject the clothes that I picked out for her! So I stormed out of the room and saw Conan leaving mine. That made me even more mad! I yelled at him asking what he thought he was doing and he stammered that he only wanted to borrow a manga. I blew up on him and then went into my room slamming the door. A little later I heard them say they had finally picked out an outfit for Charis.... or rather Conan did. Oh if I had been in the same room as him I probably would have punched him.

So just a little later after Blue left and came home again, Charis grew. There were no clothes besides some of my old ones that would fit her. So she had to wear mine until her outfit was completed. And she dares to give me disapproving looks every time she sees me and is wearing my old clothes! WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS!? That little girl is going to get it one day. I guarantee it!

Okay so a lot has happened since I last wrote. I'm kinda getting along with Charis, the little brat. I basically avoid her unless I'm teaching her how to bake. She loves to bake those little treats for her tea parties so I'm constantly giving her lessons.

When I'm not giving her lessons and not at school, I'm in the garden working on the flowers. Qing follows me around all the time when I'm in the garden and loves it when I plant more violets. I think there's going to be way more violets than any other flower in the garden. But that's okay as it makes Qing happy.

Anyways I ran into Kristopher at the garden one day and found out he is the one fixing all of the structures. I was amazed to find him helping out and then that he was so good. He showed me the stuff he had finished recently. The gazebo looked great but the surrounding environment wasn't so great. The weeds were out of control and the flowers and other plants were basically dead. So I decided to make this my next project.

I began weeding the place and had to apply weed killers to make sure they would go away. I then had to go get odd end jobs to get money so I could buy some plants. I did mostly landscaping jobs, helping people with their gardens and lawns. I got really good tips and made a good amount of money. I went and bought all kinds of flowers, some bushes, and even saplings. Then it was all about planting them. Blue and Conan helped and so did Charis.... Charis basically supervised and made sure we had plenty of water. Naturally Kris was no where to be found. Finally we got that are around the lake looking pretty with the new structures and plants. Blue said to celebrate we teens can hold a party while Charis has a play date.

OMG! The most exciting thing happened today! I met up with Gemini and we got to chatting. Somehow we got talking to types and guys we like. Well it turns out that not only does Gem like Kai, she had a crush on Conan! I can't believe it! The poor guy has a huge crush on her and now I find out that she likes him! I feel like playing matchmaker now.

Naturally I pushed her to confessing to him. It would be far better to confess and deal with any awkwardness then not to. Besides knowing Conan he would still stick around her even if he didn't like her that way. After some pushing and probing I got her to agree to going on a shopping trip to get some make-up so she can get a little done up when she does confess. I'm not telling Conan any of this and I'm going to hide my journal so he can't read it. It's his own fault that he's not the one confessing first. Dumb guy. Anyways I'll write some more about the shopping trip once we're done.

Okay so the shopping trip went well. Gem got good make-up and some tips. The lady at the counter was very helpful after finding out that this was for a confession. I was able to talk Gem into getting a new top, she ended up with two. However after that the trip took a sour note. Some jerks began to hit on me, then insulted Gem. We left to hang out in the bathroom but that didn't last long as Roxie appeared. She told us that Kai was outside wanting to talk to Gem. We didn't go out after her to find out, we figured she was messing with us so we were going to wait until our ride got there. But when our ride got there Kai was waiting not far from the bathroom. He then basically asked Gem out (didn't quite confess now that I think about it). He took her stunned silence and stuttering as a yes and told her they would talk at school. He then planted a kiss on her cheek and left. I could not believe the nerve of him! But Gem is still choosing Conan so I'm happy.

Oh my god! Chad is such a little p***k! I cannot believe he would say such a mean nasty thing about how I look. All because I was trying to 'help' him out about his sarcasm. Can't help it if his sarcasm needs work so people can recognize it for what it is. And he was even complaining about how people were ignoring him. He is such a child.

Oh if I ever get my hands on him I can guarantee he'll have a hand print left on his face and he'll have sore balls from me kicking him. I am never talking to him again! I am totally with Kris on the topic of Chad, he is a birdbrain and totally not worth the time unless it's to beat the crap out of him. I hope he never gets a girlfriend.... scratch that I hope he does and he screws it up. Or that she's super ugly (inside and out).

On another note since the garden is getting fixed up thanks to me and Kris I've been thinking of using that as the backdrop for when I confess to him. I think it's getting close to when I should let him know I am serious about my feelings for him. I need to put some serious planning about my confession.

So I've been so busy interfering in other lives that I haven't had time to write about my club activities. There was a huge cooking contest the cooking club had a while back. It was so much fun taking part in that. We cook all different kinds of foods. The different categories were appetizers, entrees, and desserts (which was separated into cakes, pastries, and cookies). Everyone in the club fought over the desserts and to make things easier I picked entrees. I made a delicious curry over rice. It won third place in the competition. I am so pleased that I made it in the top three. No one else in the club placed. Go me.

Gardening club hasn't been doing much of late besides working on the garden at school. Japanese club..... oh man I am so jealous of everyone else in the club. They're taking a 'field trip' or rather a student exchange program over the summer and going to Japan! I wasn't able to save enough money up for it and Blue can't afford it. So I'm not going. I did however ask some of the guys to buy me souvenirs and will be giving them money to buy me specific stuff when they go. I wish I could go. I'm sure they'll have a blast.

Alright so more things have been happening with my clubs. I have a big event going on with the gardening club: there's this big expo and competition going on the end of this week. Most of the club members are going and bringing their notes and even plants. The competition had started already. Everyone who had entered was sent seeds and we had to grow them, record the things we done to help it grow, and now we have to bring in our plant. It seems that we all got the same plants so they'll be judging on looks, height, and possibly even technique.

But what is interesting is that my Japanese club is also having a event now that everyone is back from their trip. There is a 'cultural' meeting going on near a convention (a comic book convention) between the different clubs at various schools. I have a suspicion that the school pulled some strings to have both events in the same town so I can go to both.

The events are far away and I have to ride a bus with the gardening club (as their event is happening first). I'm not looking forward to the bus ride but I'm sure everything else will be a blast. I already have every thing packed and I'm ready to go. My plant grew really well. It's a very nice pot of flowers.

On another note I intercepted a letter from Gem to Conan. It seems she is finally going to ask him out. I cannot wait to hear about it..... but I am sorely disappointed that she chose the time I will be leaving to do it. Now I can't go spy on them! I'm going to have to tell Conan that he best call me after it is over and tell me everything that happened. Then Gem is going to hear from me as well. Gotta get both sides after all.

OMG! The bus ride over to the city holding the competition and meeting was so boring! I thought I was going to go crazy listening to everyone goof off and blab on and on. I finally had to use my mp3 player and listen to my music.

Once we finally got to the city and then our hotel we immediately checked in. Everyone was all for exploring the city and even the hotel but I was beat and secretly hoping Conan would call and tell me what Gem wanted (even though I know what she wanted). So everyone else was left and I stayed at the room. I decided to just take a relaxing bath.... after what happened in the lobby I decided it wasn't a good idea to go to the hot tube in the pool area.

The school had explained to the hotel that they had a 'special' student but apparently they didn't mention that I was a deer humanoid. The receptionist practically freaked when I walked into the lobby. Not to mention I was getting a lot of stares from the people just passing by. The receptionist had to leave and one of the mangers had to come out and apologize about the reaction I had received. As I was heading to the elevator I caught snippets of people talking. Mostly it revolved around how the hotel was allowing 'pets' and they hoped the staff cleaned up after me. I also heard a comment about how someone was going to avoid the pool.

Seriously! Have people never seen animals in a hotel before?! Or seen another creature like me? Apparently those of us from the garden don't venture too far from that town. This cool weekend is looking to take a down turn, fast. At least if I go to the comic con I'll be a hit.
