If they weren't, jewelers would be put out of business when hordes of angry couples demanded refunds for their rotting gemstones. Diamonds now have a special coating to prevent this, and the slogan represents that.

Because, threads start out young, growing up as they gain posts, and gaining strengths. Eventually, they evolve into something more.... pretty. Or they die.

Because "NKS" stands for "Nos Kigarde Sumti", which translares roughly to "so damn expensive"... In Marketese.
