Smirking to himself, he looked at the Vampire Lord before him. Clenching the hilt of his blade with his right hand, he kept his focus on all around him.
"Only if the Crystals begin to sap the life out of me.. Death by you? If that was possible, I'd have been dead along time ago."

Faith stepped out of the shadow and leaned against on the side of the pillar, watching the impeding bloodshed that would begin.

Swirls of crimson aura ebbed and flowed throughout the room as Katsuto's eyes began to glow.
"Don't be to sure of yourself. Do you really plan to fight me in my own kingdom?"
Raising a clawed hand, he gestured at the grand expanse around them.

Not phased by the words of his opponent, he gave a slight smile.
"You forget, without Tuomas' precious vial of sunlight, I cannot be harmed unless it's Full Daylight."

Lowering his hand, the menacing aura shrank back until it disappeared.
"However as things stand now, it would appear that we are at an impasse. What then, Kuromaru? Shall you leave my kingdom peacefully or will there be a never-ending feud between us?"

Laughs to himself, as he reached into his pocket, pulling out a small emerald, with a purple wisp flowing around inside it.
"I won't be leaving until I have what I came for, Katsuto. I have something of yours, that you'll be wanting to make a trade for.."

Faith looks at Ryn somewhat in fear as she readies herself with her sword for whatever may come.

Rosalie stepped into the music room and her eyes rested on the emerald immediately. Her chest gave a painful tug of longing and she walked towards the gem, not taking in anything else in the room. Her lips were opened as if to say something, but she couldn't quite remember the words.
She reached her hand out, mere feet away from it.

Ryn laughed to himself, rolling the gem in his fingers before it vanished into thin air.
"I see you've come to reclaim your soul, Rosalie.. Too bad it won't happen until your... 'friend' relinquishes something of mine."

Tsuki slowly and silently entered the large room an unfriendly aura coming from her. She saw the emerald and looked away. She walked past the small group of people and walked around the corner.

The odd gem that Ryn held did nothing to capture the vampire's attention until he saw Rosalie and heard what Ryn had to say. His eyes widened in horror before narrowing in complete fury. A venomous hiss issued from his lips as his crimson aura built back around him.
"So, I see the council has trained you well in underhanded tactics. So you are wanting to barter then."
Holding out his hand, a scarlet crystal materialized in the center of his palm.
"Is this what you seek? Ari's crystal?"

Ryn smirked as Ari's crystal formed in front of him.
"Then a trade is in the works?" he said, the emerald forming in his hand with Rosalie's soul trapped inside.

Katsuto nodded slightly, keeping his eyes trained onto Ryn's every move. The crystal floated above his palm with the aid of some unseen energy as he willed it forward.
"Remember, Ryn. Any trickery on your part will result in this shattering before your eyes."
