Well then start your teaching my good sir, and for the rest that even you have yet to learn, we shall learn together.
She smirked at the boy whom she knew would be the second half of a wonderful friendship...

Tuomas nodded politely and looked at the various piles of books to try to find a decent beginning.
"Well, most people are somewhat familiar with the work of Nicholas Flamel, He is rather famous for his work with alchemy, but I don't usually follow that path. I tend to try my own ways of discovery rather than follow in others footsteps."
Reaching up on his tip-toes, he grabbed a dusty volume and brought it back to the table.

Ahh-chu!
Kirche squinted her face as she covered her mouth and sneezed
I'm sorry, dust and I aren't really that good of friends, but I am quite the bibliophile...
She studied the book and felt it's binding
So what is this book about in particular?

He creased his eyebrows in an apologetic face.
"I'm sorry. The dust gets really thick in here."
He tapped the cover of the large tome.
"This is the connections between medicinal alchemy and magic. How to combine the two to get the most potent effect possible."

So I'm going to learn about medicine and magic first. Sounds like my kind of topic
Her smile sweetly covered her face as she rubbed her hand over the book from the binding to the turn-in and opened up the book to it's content page. Skimming the page she saw words she didn't quite understand yet, but she assumed at some point she would learn about them.
Where do you reccomend I start for some books are created differently than others.

Adjusting his glasses, Tuomas peered at the ancient lettering.
"Oh, I don't suppose you know Latin, do you?"
He frowned, not remembering which books had varying languages.

I'm not fluent. I know a few words or sayings such as Cantate Domino, but not much. It looks like your going to be teaching me quite a bit. And please don't frown Tuomas, I like it much better when you have a smile on your face
Kirche grinned, her eyes soft and gentle upon Tuomas' face.

Tuomas could not help but smile, as her grin was very contagious.
"Thank you. I will try to do better."

She brushed a strand of hair back behind her head and she looked down at her feet. She enjoyed Tuomas' company and at first she couldn't seem to put her finger on the exact reason why... now she could. He reminded her a lot of someone she has loved before. As she thought about her past her face turned a bright red color. Quickly she tried to bring herself back into reality, hoping the boy hadn't seen her blush.
Uh-uhm. So where were we? Uhmm, oh yes now I remember. I need to try and learn latin, correct?

He nodded, crossing over to find a few more books for reference.
"Yes, though some of the illustrations are pretty self-explanatory."
He brought a few more books to the table, taking care to wipe off the dust before placing them near her.

There such lovely books, wonderfully crafted and so well taken care of. Sure there a bit dusty, but the quality is still fantastic. And it even has that old book scent to it. I think I love this room more than I'll love the library.
She stroked a particularly large book with her right hand, imagining how long it had taken to create the cover and all of it's pages.

Tuomas smiled, always having been rather proud of the collection he kept.
"Most are first editions while others are actually written out by the authors themselves instead of reproduced."
He flipped to an old yellowed page in one of the tomes.
"You can even see a few traces of ink spills."

She moved her face closer to the book to better analyze the page. She noticed the ink spills Tuomas had mentioned, but also noticed the old paper used in this paticular book, noting the color, texture, scent, and sound it made as her hand stroked across it.
It's such a wonderful collection. They're all so beautiful.

He pondered a moment, but hurried back to the bookshelf with a wide grin.
"Now that I think about it, I may have a few extras. Would you care to have them?"

Oh I would absolutely love that! This way I can read and still learn when your busy and can't have me around.
She pranced over to the bookshelf but accidentally bumped into him making the books fall to the floor.
Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry!
She bent down and started picking up the books
