Kishin Egg - Mac.
“Tick, tock, says the clock…bing, bong says the…gong…” A low and youthful voice sang. His clear tone easily resonating around the grounds. Though with each pause his presence shifted, making it difficult to pinpoint his location. From high in the trees, to low on the ground, he danced and jumped, making sure no one saw him. His voice shifting between a youthful tease, to an older, harsher tone. Making it seem like there two men instead of one. His lone form covered in robes of grey and white, then again, in a subtle cloak of madness.
“Errr…chip, chop, goes the…um, knife…no, that doesn’t rhyme…” He whined softly. But any further complaint was drowned out by a harsher tone. “Obviously It doesn’t….” It growled, with a heavy sigh. Though with a giggle the youthful voice took over again. “But chip, chop is a funny sound…Isn't it?” He shivered in anticipation. As he spoke, he reached out a hesitant hand to get a better view of the kids bellow. Eyes glistening with mirth, he sniggered softly. “Almost as funny as bang and splat…” Though torn between laughing and snorting, with a yelp he slipped from his perch.
Arms wind-milling, the man fell forward face first. Eyes wide, he watched the approaching ground. His appearance masked in a flurry of robes, leaves and branches. This is going… But at the very last moment he twisted, landing with an almost feline grace. Knees flexing, his low voice gave an amused snort. “Idiot…you’ve blown our cover…” He straightened, his lidded eyes darting between the pairs, before shifting into a youthful wince. “Its not my fault…" The man pouted. "You were confusing me…” He whined, as hands tugged leaves and branches out of his hair. “Anyway…” The youthful voice perked, his hands rubbing gleefully together. “Can we play with them now…?” He tilted his head. “With their ickle souls, and ickle powers…” He sniggered. “Very delicious…” The man licked his lips. As a harsh eye scanned the worthless, bags of souls. “Aye, delicious.” The second voice grunted. The silence broken by a crackling of knuckles.
After a moments of silence, his face split into a toothy grin. “An easy harvest…” The harsh voice grunted. “Thanks for the meal…” The second voice chimed. As with a flash and bang, a swirl of smoke signalled the start of his hunt for human souls.

ɣuji ✩ ʑanzaki Ϩtar ✩ 2.0 ▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁ ↪ "Haha" Yuji let out a laugh as Val told him to be careful. He knew he had to be, careful, it was just he was having to much fun. It was bizarre but having her as a weapon, just felt like he knew he could protect both of them this way. Now he could keep his promise to her, even if she couldn't turn into a weapon on time he was still, glad to see that she could now. But just as Yuji was swinging her around more and trying to make sure the chain didn't get tangled around him. Yuji couldn't help but feel a little more excited as he seemed to get the hang of her, "Hey, Val we don't seem to be in sync that much do we?" Yuji asked as he thought you were supposed to feel a giant surge of power then you were to grab your partner. But honestly she just felt like an ordinary weapon at the moment as if she wasn't anything special but on the contrary she was quite the weapon. Thinking deeply of it more, he wondered if he did something wrong, maybe as if he didn't let her into his soul? maybe something specific like that...but he couldn't get it,it just stumped him..damn. As he thought more about, he suddenly felt a deadly presences. It seemed to angry all over and had a killer intent, but Yuji didn't know exactly where it was. He didn't believe that one of the students on the school grounds was the cause of it. They all seemed to be unaware, of it, he even doubted that Val had noticed it yet. Damn, he thought to himself quietly.. no one here was ready for a fight yet. Looking around wildly, Yuji wasn't about to let something with the intent to kill someone, well kill someone. Suddenly he felt it come closer, it's killing intent had even more pressure to it. Yuji was now glad that his father thought him how to sense the killing intent of an opponent, but to have an killing intent that could be sensed this far away this was something that was packed with power. Suddenly he heard voices, that of a young person around his age, then an older rage filled adult voice. Were there two opponents or just one? Damn he couldn't tell for sure, until it came dashing past the middle, it just seemed to be on simple man, but something was defiantly different about him, he was filled with evil. This wasn't going to be a time for everyone to fight, they needed people to go try and warn the teachers or something. "Someone go warn the teachers!" Yuji said he was well aware that no one knew how to get around but they had damn better go look for help. Besides Yuji felt a little rush of excitement, this was a battle with his life and others lives on the line. "Hey, Val, forgive me if I'm to harsh on you when we attack this guy!" Yuji said as he dashed towards the Kinshin, he had a feeling that there was more to this random occurrence of this man. Maybe it was a test, but no why would a man with such killing intent be a test? Well right now it didn't matter, all that mattered was him saving everyone, he didn't forget about Val of course. If things got to bad he would have to sacrifice his life for hers. But that wouldn't be a big deal, for him, dieing on the battlefield was just apart of being a warrior. Smiling, with teeth that seemed to be as sharp as soul's teeth themselves. Drool coming out of his mouth slightly, he was going to enjoy this battle. Charging at the Kinshin getting ready for the first assault.
Charging the Kinshin, Yuji was already by the enemy, "Hey, Mr.Killing intent, make this battle a good one!" Yuji said with a excited voice, as he started to slash Val's blades at the man/kinshin. Yuji never got worked up like this it was just in battle that he would get this excited. This was when his counter-part the warrior Yuji, would show himself and devastate the enemy. As he continued to slash at the enemy you could see that both of the people fighting now were erupting with the intent to kill, Yuji's of course was only so that he could protect everyone, or was it just that he enjoyed the feeling of battle? anyone could feel that his soul was fierce at the moment and wouldn't take s**t from anyone at all. ↩ ▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁ "To surpass a godly level was a goal accomplished by only one." "Fair enough."
He didn't realize how long he had been holding her up until she asked if he could let her down. He immediately set her back down on the ground letting go of her wrists.
"Oh. Sorry about tha..."
Almost immediately his eyes became big. His nostrals began to flare up as he took in big whiffs of air through his nose. He soon began to crack one knuckle at a time on each of his hands. This wavelength. This smell. He had encountered it several times before.
"... Can you smell it? The rotting stench of blood... There are two of them..."
He immediately jumped up on the railing standing straight up scanning the area for the closest. His eyes soon zoomed in on a single area. He then turned back to Hamilia and then held out his hand.

Sighing, she found that her partner was a bit more 'energetic' than her. Although, it made her a bit happy. She was more secluded and didn't talk to people as much. Maybe that would change when Galland and herself get used to having eachother as partners. She smiled faintly, taking in what could be a start of something new to her. Even if she was in weapon form, she felt as if she could do the same actions as she would do when not in weapon form. Thinking for a bit, she then realised that she was a weapon. Weapons were suppose to eat kishin eggs. The thought confused her once she thought about it for a moment. Even so, she knew that there would be a time where she would get her first taste of one. And when she does, she'll be ready for it.
Just then, Autumn felt a bit wierd. It was as if she was sensing something that could endanger the school or even her partner. Trying to figure out what it was, she heard someone say to warn the teachers about something. When she heard something about a rotting stench of blood, she knew what it had to be. "G-Galland! It seems that we have kishin at the school! We should..." She stopped speaking for a bit, wondering if Galland was ready to fight a kishin with her weapon form. Galland seemed to be getting some decent training in only a few minutes so she had faith in him. She continued her sentence. "...uh, we should get rid of it!" She wanted to do something to help the school, and it looked like there was already a meister and his weapon getting ready to fight the kishin. She just hoped that Galland was as ready as she hoped he was. Wᴏʀᴅ Cᴏᴜɴᴛ: 305 Tᴏᴛᴀʟ Wᴏʀᴅ Cᴏᴜɴᴛ: 2893 Cᴜʀʀᴇɴᴛ Pᴀʀᴛɴᴇʀ: Galland Ryuusai Wᴇᴀᴘᴏɴ Fᴏʀᴍ: Two-handed SwordOOC: Ooookay! Matthais Iori ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Matt stopped abruptly feeling the presence of an extreme aura of pure killer intent he hadn't yet noticed where it was originating from until the boy he had been approaching took off to in what seemed to be an attack on another person he assumed that the person being attacked was indeed the killer soul aura.
Matt stalled for a second knowing he had no way to fight, he was hopelessly unuseful as of right now. He made a quick note in his head to get stronger very quickly and to never have this hopeless feeling ever again for the moment matt decided he would just watch as it would cause the least harm to anyone and he wouldn't be in anyones way for right now, matt watched the attack carefully he anticipated the response from the attacked person as well as what the attacker might do as a back up plan.

The world has no limitations on strength but.. ********************************************************** Galland continued to look at his partner. There personality's were really different but when he touch her it felt almost as if they were destined to be partners.Galland scratched his head and went to sit down, he took a deep breath as he did. He was trying to relax when he felt a killing intent like no other he had ever felt.
He smelt blood and lots of it. He tried to block the stench by breathing through his mouth, but then he could almost taste it. He leap up and turned his head around and leaped onto a ledge next to him . He held Autumn over his shoulder and listened to her as she called it a "Kishin egg." He had never herd of it before, this was probably one of the things he over looked. " Man he needs to be dumbed into a lake full of Dove soap!"
"Well here we go partner, our first fight!" Galland was hyped up for his first battle. There was only one problem, Autumns weapon weight might header his flexibility. Galland began running towards the Kishin egg with Autumn's blade on the ground creating sparks as she scrapped it. "Sorry partner!" Galland then bent his knee's and leaped into the air gripping Autumn tightly hold her over hand. "Hey guys hope you don't mind if we but in!" Galland shouted at the team that had already begun to fight the monster.
Galland continued to grip the blade as tightly as he could as he slammed her down at the Kishin ready to split it in two.

"Never give your reasons, for your judgement will probably be right," __________________________________________ All of a sudden, the gay atmosphere which surrounded the students training was interrupted. As Yuji opened his mouth to say something about the same thing which Val sensed. It was as if someone had come up to her and punched her in the gut. The evil presence was overwhelming, purely and totally overwhelming. She had never faced anything like this before, but at the same time she recognized it somehow. While Val didn't know why, it was as if being in her weapon form suddenly gave her knowledge beyond her own experience. From her weapon form, from that blank space of nothingness, Val could see her Meister. He was... Drooling. Despite the fact that this was upsetting, as looking forward to a battle was just totally wrong, at the same time Val couldn't do anything about it. Though she was in her weapon form, the aura of the Kishin egg alone was enough to petrify her. Had she been in her human form, she would be standing there like a deer in the headlights. Rather, here she was just dumb as she felt the power, the sheer pressure of this enemy, overwhelming her.
Valentine swallowed hard and started breathing normally once again. She actually found herself coughing slightly; since the Kishin egg appeared, Val hadn't been able to breathe. The fact that she had been rendered so completely terrified, but at the same time she regained her composure in time to hear Yuji apologizing for if he went too harsh on her while attacking the Kishin egg. Was he really going all out already? Not two minutes ago Yuji had been tripping over the weapon, and now he expected to defeat a beast that was this overwhelmingly evil and powerful. He also mentioned someone going to find teachers. Maybe one of the weapons or Meisters without a partner in the area should try to find Shinigami-sama or someone? After all, they CANNOT FIGHT ON THEIR OWN (subtle, I know) and would only be a liability, at least in her eyes. At the same time, right now Val had a feeling that she should be more worried about her own partner. He seemed so... Thrilled to fight. It was honestly more worrisome than it was reassuring. As if he would only get himself hurt in the process.
Finally, Val found her speech, "Yuji! Be careful!" she said in that tinny voice aloud. She didn't know how to fight well with him, and she had a feeling that if he rushed into it too soon they would both end up screwing the other one up. Apparently not listening to her, Yuji rushed head first forward and left Val with a look of sheer panic on her face. Not only was this reckless, but it was idiotic as well. Yet, his soul was so fierce. At the same time, Val remembered the idiot. "Ahhh! Yuji, ye boggin' idjit, wha' the 'ell do ye tink yer doin'????? This whole idea was so stupid, but at the same time it was like she was on a roller coaster. The adrenaline was overwhelming, and in a way it was kind of rejuvenating at the same time. Maybe this was why Yuji was so thrilled for the fight? No! Val shook those thoughts from her head. She had to be the voice of reason. Thinking about Freud, it was as if Yuji was the Id and Val was the Ego. They didn't have a Super Ego, in this case, so Val had to act as both to pretty much drag Yuji out of the abyss by his hair. At the same time, the wind rushed past her blade as he swung it, the fluidity of their fighting together seemed almost as though they had been fighting together all their lives. __________________________________________

Autumn sadly smiled, but she doubted that Galland could see it. He was going to fight the kishin without having figured out if he could use her weapon form properly. When Galland had apologized for dragging the blade of her form on the ground. "Eheh... It's fine. Just get ready... who knows what that kishin can do!" She says to him, accepting his apology. Turning her head, she saw that she was in her weapon room. It was a room where weapons would go to while in their weapon form. The room had a bamboo like walls and dark brown wooden floors. It reminded her so much of her room back home and it made her so at peace. What would make it better was if she was with her siblings as well. Although... she didn't feel like getting mobbed by her sister and having dresses get thrown her way. Her sister always had a habit in dressing her up. Not that she minded anyways, but it just freaked her out a smidge. She sat herself down on the floor and grabbed the wooden ocarina she saw laying on the floor. She then began to play a few notes from it once she blew on the mouth piece. She had heard rumors that if she did/played something in the weapon room, it would enhance her partners soul power, but she had no idea if it actually worked.
From her room, she could see the battle in her weapon form. She was excited at first, but then wondered what the kishin was capable of. The kishin was most likely dangerous if it had the guts to enter the school grounds on its own. She sensed one from the cafeteria as well, so it wasn't alone if it needed the help. She waited to see if she could read its movements to learn more about it to help Galland in the battle. ____________________Hamilia "Hammie" Porkins She became very enlightened to stand over the ground again with her feet making the right alignments. Her short moment of relief was replaced by a feeling of potential animosity. Shaded eyes gently narrowed to her cheeks, very much disturbed by this odd premonition. It seems that their chitter-chatter was also going to be reduced. Her words weren't going anywhere with the weird display he was showing. The way he cracked his thick knuckles gave her the thought of him being a delinquent. A different part of 'disturbed' flushed into her veins when she visualized. However, he seemed as though he was getting ready to fight something external to him. Did he suddenly seem more callous than usual? The reproachful girl rose an arched brow in dismay. Was he going to sock her for her hidden coy behind her last words? Somewhere in her mind, she wondered what the hell he would do about it. Almost as though she expected an answer, her first reaction was to squeeze her rigid hands into fists. Unfortunately, the process stopped at her fingers barely curled. Her swollen hand began to reduce in size, normalizing again. Her other hand however still shook with greenish scales still shrouding over the most carbon concentrated areas, indicating that they were still in the stage of steady banishment. What a difficult book to read. Strange to my tastes.
Her wrist then loosened the strength behind her tense fingers, and then did no effort to flatten back again. Hamilia could match his angle and so she curiously looked at him. Studious eyes looked about for any trace but he seemed like he was thinking about something. Sooner than said, he brought up the words to speak. Her words were delayed once more by the sound of an abrupt explosion, not too far from within the vicinity. Undoubtedly intimidated by what it could be, she instinctively reached out for his hand with her steadily flexing one. "What was that?" The texture of it did not seem to bother her thoughts at all as she was ready to follow even his shadow. Her calm demeanor broke into an unnerving glance to his side. "Oh dear..we're going there, aren't we?" Sideways to her most inner thought, was a growing little twig of fear. Her grip tightened on his hand. Expecting it. She sighed under her breath, strangely feeling less afraid while her hand was occupied by his. "So, I get this feeling, that, we're going to get involved in something incredibly stupid."Total Points: 36 + 4 = 40 Current Rank: Newbie Word Count This Post: 421 Total Word Count: 4130 + 421 = 4551 Points Gained This Post: 4

Kishin Egg - Mac.
Usually when faced with such delicacies, (however weak), one has the conundrum of deciding who to choose first. Like chocolates in a box, Mac twirled savouring their scents. Mouth salivating, he licked his lips. Which to… But before he’d gotten the chance to think, his food were throwing themselves at him. Left, right and centre, until he was almost surrounded. With a twitch of his nose, Mac offered little more than a curious quirk of his eyes. "Food…?" He grunted, as a sleeved hand brushed back the white curtain of hair, freeing his eyes. "Fast food..." The second voice giggled, his gaze darting between the attackers.
Looking to Yuji, the youthful voice perked up. “Oh what sharp teeth you have…” He sniggered, but with the first slash, he pouted. His body bending away from the blade, with a speed and flexibility, normally reserved for movies. “Too slow…” Mac taunted. Body hunched, long grey robes covered all but his face. Tattered edges, hanging around him in a deceptive mass. So as Yuji attacked, in a flurry of grey and white his stationary form bent and flexed, dodging his slashes. Using his speed to counter the child’s enthusiasm. He couldn’t help but sneer, unimpressed by the boy’s killing intent. As a yell announced the appearance of a second morsel.
With a twirl mimicking that of a ballet dancer, he twisted away, placing Galland in front of Yuji. His lips twisting into a dark smile. “Fast but not fast enough…maybe you chop each other?” He sniggered. “Maybe you’ll be easy to eat…?” The man raised both his arms. “Maybe not…” With a dual click, his expression hardened with a grunt. “Too slow…” With a synchronised bang and a swirl of thick smoke, two projectiles narrowly missed Yuji and Galland. With one twisting towards Matthias, the other imbedding into a tree with a loud thump.
As he watched, his face twisted into a childish smirk. “Too easy…” He cooed, teasing his prey. “Maybe I should go in search of more fun…?” His head quirked to one side, with a curious smile. “Maybe not…” He shrugged, his tongue running slowly across bared teeth. His shoulders hunching once more. “Tic, toc, goes the clock…smack, whack, goes the Mac…red, dead, goes the…goes the…” His hungered gazed settled on each, individual soul. “You.”
Lunging forward, he effortlessly twirled. With one fist he aimed high to backhand Galland across the face. The second aimed low to punch Yuji in the gut. But as he moved, his briefly exposed hands flashed with a metallic shine. But failing that, a second fist punched chest level towards Galland. Before twisting to backhand or block any attacks from Yuji. His gaze flashed out towards the other people near by. “Come little children its time to play!” The Kishin egg called. His attacks so far, soft, but teasingly effective. The force was enough to knock his opponent back. Though now and again, with a flash of silver he taunted his food.

ɣuji ✩ ʑanzaki Ϩtar ✩ 2.0 ▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁ ↪ Damn, this guy was seriously a threat to everyone here. Not even one of his slashes, had even come close to touching the b*****d. He bent himself like he was a piece in tetris. Something, that looked liked it was hard to do, but that wasn't of real importance right now. Because another person had joined the fray, jumping back a slight bit so the black haired guy could slash down on the enemy. Hearing Val's voice suddenly he turned towards her, her accent pushing it's way through again. This made Yuji laugh a little bit, it was always a laugh when she seemed to get anger even if it was only about two times. But focusing on the battle again it wasn't time to get distracted so easy, if he did it would leave him open for an attack. But even if he didn't it was already to late, the enemy was on the attack this time. Charging fast, all Yuji felt was his stomach be compressed. As he sighed but more of a hard exhale. He could only feel his lungs try to get a grasp the thin thread of air. Which would help him regain composure. If he didn't he would just be more of a burden than a help. He learned this from his father, it was coming in quite handy so far, all his lessons and what not. Catching his breathe his mind was cast back onto the battle, as the man started another assault. As he heard his word' what sharp teeth he had'...."Shut the hell up" Was all Yuji could say to the two-voiced man. As he saw the man aim at him, and take a straight forward lunge at him, all Yuji could think of was, how was this going to end. Where the hell was a teacher when you need one, as he saw him throw a few more hits, Yuji was able to dodge them slightly, But seeing that the two-voiced man was able to block any of his attacks. He had to think out of the box, tactics came to this mind. Looking around he scouting for things that could be used. But not really seeing anything Yuji just decided to go with an all time classic. "HAHA, take this you b*****d" Yuji said as he grabbed a handful of dirt and threw it at the man creating a cloud of dust and dirt. Hopefully the other student could use it was camouflage and escape while Yuji went in for another attack.

"Never give your reasons, for your judgement will probably be right," __________________________________________ Val could do pretty much nothing but sit by and watch as Yuji randomly slashed at the Kishin egg. It was far more powerful than either of them, and especially more powerful than both of them combined. Hell, so far from what she could tell, the Kishin egg was more powerful than all of the students here combined. What they needed were some teachers... This was a bloody school, there had to be some teachers around, and knowing the type of school this was those teachers had to be either weapons or Meisters. A weapon teacher could wipe the floor with this Kishin egg on its own, and a Meister teacher would surely be able to wield one of the weapons better than a student and THEN wipe the floor with the Kishin egg. Still, no matter how Val looked at Yuji's approach to this fight, he was also being an idiot. Sure, the Kishin egg was for more powerful than he, but he was still acting strange. There was such a thing as not letting adrenaline get to your head, and also such a thing as not enjoying battles as much as a starving man enjoys a piece of bread.
Before Val could say anything of this sort to her Meister, the Kishin egg rushed forward. It was so incredibly fast; it was obvious that it wasn't only nimble (as it could avoid all of Yuji's slashes towards it) but that it was also quick... Truly, this was an opponent which none of them could hope to face. The Kishin egg kicked Yuji's stomach, and once again Val could do nothing but wince as she imagined the pain of getting the air knocked out of oneself. Still, though, it seemed as though Yuji was unwilling to give up... Val sighed and continued to watch over the fight. Sometimes, there was a point in which a man just has to give up... This was that point. They had no hope of facing the Kishin egg, and at this point the hope of surviving the first day of school was diminishing with it. They had to escape... Everyone there had to escape. Yuji didn't look like he was willing to escape any time soon, and as he threw up the dirt to mask the other students' escapes, Val considered transforming into her human form to forcibly drag Yuji away from the scene. After all, right now survival should be their first priority.
As Val was about to transform, she stopped. If she transformed now, if they left now, who would hold of the Kishin egg? There was no one else in the area, and if they all ran then the Kishin egg could attack more students, then the Kishin egg could invade the entire school, and wreak havoc all around. If nothing else, they had to wait out the fight until someone else showed up, who could defeat the Kishin egg. Who was this? Val had no idea. But she did know that it wasn't them and it wasn't that other team. It wasn't any student. Yet, Yuji and she needed to act as a distraction of sorts. Better to have two dead students than four, no? Hopefully, they wouldn't die. Still, though, hope was diminishing the longer Val looked into the Kishin egg's eyes, and the longer she thought about its power and the longer she thought about their lack of power... Val quickly stopped herself from spiraling downhill and sighed. Now, she couldn't do much other than trusting Yuji, and trust him she would have to if they were to even survive this battle. __________________________________________

Quirking an eyebrow, Mac blinked as the boy laughed. His expression a blend of amusement, and confused disgust. He couldn’t understand why the morsel would do so. Which was doubly upsetting, as fear was the best seasoning. So with a childish pout he twirled, his hand darting out to backhand Yuji. As the other flashed out to get a hold of (or block) the weapon. But to say he was having a tantrum would be a lie. For almost instantly his expression shifted. His childish exterior twisting into a dark smirk, as shadowed eyes locked on to the little souls.
With a deceptive ripple, his lithe form twirled back. “No ones going to save you…” The low voice hissed, his lips pealing back into a sneer. “Do you truly think…think…that…that…” Suddenly he was behind Yuji, his chin almost resting on the boys shoulder as he whispered. “You can’t save them…cause you can’t save yourself…” He hissed. Nostrils flaring as he drew in the boys scent. The Kishin egg extended a finger towards the weapon. “Let…alone…her…” Resisting the urge to sample his prey, Mac giggled as brushed the edge of a weapon against Yuji’s back. “See…?”
It was almost torture for him to delay his feast. But more than anything, Mac longed for the heady and delectable aroma fear. For whilst humans liked the scents of fresh bread, cooked meat or coffee. He’d put all that behind him in favour of blood and fear. With his favourite targets, being the younger sort. The easily deluded, and quick to manipulate. From youngsters to mid teens, with their delusion of grandeur and power. The ones that always thought of themselves as either being able to protect others, or as a righteous sacrifice. Not to mention the overly stupid, would couldn’t understand when they were in over their heads. Either way, considering he lacked a reputation in this area. What better place to start than here. Today. Now. Twisting away, Mac positioned himself before Yuji. His head tilted with a curious, but dark smile. “You’ll bleed…she’ll bleed…they’ll all bleed and plead, before the end…” He hissed softly. His robes rippling in the soft breeze.
Suddenly at the childish tactics, his expression twisted into fury. Though with a growl he winced away covering his face. “No’ fair…!” He suddenly whined, using his sleeves to rub his eyes and face. “No‘ nice…” The man whimpered, with a small cough. But in the ripple of his sleeve, one would be able to see a dark, and amused smirk. Suddenly flicking out his hands, a rain of explosions rang out near all the students. With some bringing down trees and the like. But it a tantrum is what Yuji wanted, then a tantrum was what he was going to get. “Thank you…” His lips curled. “For the meal…” Stepping forward he drew up his arm so that it was level with Yuji’s chest. With a click, he suddenly lunged. “Die…”

"Never give your reasons, for your judgement will probably be right," __________________________________________ The Kishin egg... Val knew that it was powerful. But this powerful, it was ridiculous. They were completely powerless to this two-faced (metaphorically) man. He was so close to both of them that, in an instant, they could both be dead. Who knew that a fight could end up this one-sided? It had been short, but the whole time they had been like putty in this Kishin egg's hand. Sure, the could try to resist. Struggle like insects, but it would do them no good. In an instant, they'd be dead... All of them. What was the use in delaying it? A few more minutes of hope? That faint desire, longing, to live? It was not there, it had never been there. This fight never had a chance of success, and the more the Kishin egg talked with himself, the more Val felt the crushing feeling, the crushing knowledge that soon, if not now, they would be chatting up a storm with death. Who'd have thought that the knowledge could set her at easy? Could make her remember all the good times, of the first day of school. Truly a pity that they should meet their end so early in their careers as students...
Why was she thinking like this? There was hope, there was always hope. Maybe it was a tiny flame, flickering against the wind, but it was there. For now, all Val could do was protect that tiny flame with her hand and hope that the others would do the same. Maybe if they collectively protect that glistening light of hope, they would be able to hold out until a teacher came. If a teacher came. Where in bloody hell were the teachers? Surely they felt this overwhelming Madness, this feeling as if there was a person pushing down upon her chest and making her unable to breathe. Overwhelming. Purely and totally. Val had faced many a bosses in some of the many video games she has played, and she'd thought that if she ever fought a real-life boss, she would be able to manage. But now she understood why all those manga or video game characters stand in frozen terror when faced with a powerful foe. Because even without Madness, there was a pressure that was like being smothered by a whale.
As Val thought about this, she saw it. Barely, the hand position itself to stab towards Yuji's chest, Yuji not moving, or unable to do so... Then, the Kishin egg lunge forward... Without even thinking, Val transformed out of her weapon form and in front of the Kishin egg. Why? She had no idea. Now she would die, but either way there would be a dead student on the teacher's hands. But Val had a quicker reaction speed than her partner. Since Val was about half a foot shorter than Yuji, the attack was aimed straight at her neck. Unable to wince because of how quick it all happened, Val's hands shot upward and caught the hand in between her two hands. In shock, she looked down at the deadly weapon which she had just stopped. The attack had been so close to puncturing her neck that the Kishin egg's fingernails had cut through her skin and there was a thin stream of blood; not enough to be deadly, as the deadliness of the attack had barely been nullified. With its speed, Val hadn't had enough time to dodge, just enough time to stop the blow. And now, surely, she would die... __________________________________________
