Pit felt something scratch his shoulders, and saw a raven transform into a dog. Pit grabbed his bow and touched the red ruby with his palm and pulled back, making an arrow appear. "cease your attack, demon,"he ordered, aiming at Ballalel. His shoulders began to bleed, and he could feel the pain and the blood as it began to run down.

Ballalel Card "Forever in debt to Beelzebub..."When the angel turned to him and ordered him to stop attacking he just laughed before letting them see his real self. "You honestly think you can take me on? I am the devil's lieutenant." He bowed gracefully and with one hand shot a beam of dark energy into a tree, which whistled ominously as it flew through the air. "I doubt you have the power to match mine." "I attend as ace of cards." XXXXX

"That doesn't matter," Pit said firmly. "It does not matter what you have, it's how you use what you do have that gets the job done," he said. He did not care if the demon was a high ranking demon, even if he were powerful.

xxxxx]" h o s t i l i t y " Mastema lurked around the city, looking for someone or something to play with. It had been a while since he'd ripped anything, and he was feeling a bit bored. Lucifer was also busy organizing other demons to find those damned Nephilim, so he couldn't play either. Mastema hissed.
Then he sighted something. It was Ballalel, getting ready to jump out of a portal. Mastema smiled. It wasn't a pretty type of smile. Perhaps the high-ranking demon would allow Mastema to come along for the ride. As soon as Ballalel had leaped through the portal, Mastema flew over and in, just before it closed.
Mastema followed the lieutenant silently in the air, pondering as what he was going to do. Even he had heard about how much Ballalel dreaded searching for those weak Nephilim. Suddenly, it appeared that Ballalel had sighted something, as he quickly went down and changed forms.
Mastema peered down as well, smiling his sickly grin when he saw. How convenient. Three angels right there, all healthy for him to rip. One of the angels was readying her weapon, about to engage Ballalel in combat. With a sneer, Mastema realized it was his old-time rival, Hayyel. The sneer was quickly replaced with a grin. This will surely be entertaining, he thought.
Just as Hayyel raised her claws to strike, Mastema swooped in and deflected it with his scythe. He took joy in the angel's surprised, horrified face, and hissed, "Happy to see me, my dear?" Then, addressing Ballalel, "I surely hope you don't mind if I... assist you, my dear friennd." He had a strange habit of lengthening his words, much like a snake, so whenever he spoke, it came out very sadistic and mental.

xxxxx Angel of W i l d A n i m a l s Hayyel heard a familiar voice speak behind her and turned. Walking up to them was her fellow angel, Pit. Hayyel smiled warmly at the angel. "We did. Two of them to be precise. Unfortunately, they had gotten away before we could pursue them," she replied, glancing at Annabelle.
Just then, a dark shape appeared and loomed over Pit. It was a demon. Hayyel's eyes widened, and she instinctively took a fighting stance. She listened as the demon introduced himself as Lucifer's very own lieutenant, and spoke up, backing up Pit's comeback.
"He is right. Rank does not matter. Evil will never succeed in the end. We implore you to retreat." Her voice was confident and reasoning.
When it became obvious that the demon was not about to listen, Hayyel raised her hands. They quickly morphed and became that of a bear's, sharp and deadly. It was a form in which she usually preferred. She could move easily in the body of a human, and have the striking power of a bear.
Hayyel raised a claw to strike, when another swooped down to interfere. Unfortunately, Hayyel recognized the newest arrival, and her eyes widened in surprise and fear. The voice that so much revolted sneered, "Happy to see me, my dear?"
"Mastema!" In truth, Hayyel was not at all happy to see him. Her long time rival, Mastema had this weird habit of intervening whenever she most wanted him gone. Everything about the powerful demon of hostility revolted her and made her reel with disgust; his hissing, grinding voice, his oh-so-annoying smile, his gangly slouch, and his deathly scythe, which he held comfortably in one of his clawed hands. Mastema's wings, unusually pure white, fluttered and glowed, either with a pure or a threatening light, Hayyel could not tell.

xxxxxN e p h i l i m ; Daughter of H a y y e l Susan had been scrubbing furiously at a piece of food on a plate which refused to come off, when she felt something deep within her. It was that familiar aura again, but this time it felt different. At first, it pulsed with confidence and sincerity, but then a feeling of dread and horror came over it. And something else that lay at the very bottom, the innermost layer: fear.
Shocked by the sudden feeling, Susan dropped the plate. It fell agonizingly slow to the ground, and shattered there. Immediately, the cook was by her side and yelling at her. Susan payed no attention; she stared distantly out the window. She knew that that feeling had to be related to her dream. And it was out there somewhere, waiting for her. Susan's instincts screamed to go and find it, but she couldn't. She had no idea where to start.
With a sigh, Susan bent down and began picking up the plates. She swore to herself that she would go out once her debt was done and search. Which reminds me... Susan thought, and looked up. Where was Luna? Susan could take the Nephilim along with her, just in case she needed backup. Susan made a mental note in her head to ask Luna of that favor.

Syori had suppressed her energy to the point where no one could seance her as she listened in on the conversation for a few seconds. She heard they found two of her kind and bit her lip, then that they got away and she smiled. Her father had fallen hard and fast but on his way down he taught her how to survive, how to suppress the nephilim side of her, to make her self seem human. Her mother had done the same, both had loved her and she knew it, both had loved each other as well.
She scowled at the Angels comment about Evil never winning and made a mental note to ask her if Killing off a group of people was considered Evil, and if so why was it that killing of the small group like her was not evil? was it because god told them to? wasn't it god who gave every one freewill and the right to live, so if god was so great why was he turning around and taking back what he said. She took off quickly, moving as silently as she could past the group and then sprinting. A wolf came to meet her outside the town.

Pit nodded to acknowledge what Hayyel had said. He was somewhat relieved that they found the two nemphilim, but when he heard that the two got away, he took a deep breath, slowly releasing it through his nostrils. If only they had captured the two. Then again, Ballalel and Mastema had arrived, and they would attempt to convince the nemphilim to go against god, so it must have been a good thing that they got away. He then hoped that the two did not meet any demons, and that another demon did not appear.
The blood from his shoulders began to soak his clothing and knew that he would have to stay and fight against the two if they did not surrender.

Luna sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes.It was very quiet, only the sound of the trees swaying in the wind. It seemed that Susan had already went to work on the dishes, seeing her little spot on the ground empty. She got dressed slowly, peering out the window at the cloudy weather."It's probably going to rain"She muttered. She wasn't the rainy type or person. Luna locked the door and walked down the stairs."Morning Susan"she yawned.

Actrise had just entered the Inn, sensing something that was a nephilim. She would have to wait a while, when they are alone, that way, no mortal would know anything. It would be fun to convince the two to rise against God, even though it would be difficult to do so. Especially if there were angels about that would interfere with her plans. She ordered a meal and paid for it from a victim she had killed to fool those around her so they would not think she was waiting for someone.

Luna blinked and shivered as the girl bought her food.Even though Luna was practically the queen of coldness, the girl made her feel uneasy. It was only when the girl sat down that she knew who and what she was."lets hope that she doesn't realize who I am"she thought.

Actrise began to eat her food silently, not caring if it tasted good or not. She had a plan and that was that if the feeling she sensed vanished when Luna left, she would go search for her and then have a conversation with her. It would be her best shot, and after all, even if she lost track of her, she could run into another Nephilim.

xxxxx Angel of W i l d A n i m a l s Hayyel grunted under the ramming force of Mastema's strike. As venomous and slimy as Hayyel might think he is, the demon was very strong. Might it be his having both angel-like and demon-like traits? Hayyel didn't know. But she sure didn't like it.
"What's wrong, Hayyel my love?" Mastema hissed. "Gotten a bit weakkk?"
Hayyel ground her teeth and shouted back, "Never, my demonic friend! The power of God strengthens me! He will always overpower the cursed such as you!"
Mastema chuckled, much like a snake would, if a snake could chuckle. Then he pushed her forward. Hayyel's feet ground and slid on the floor. As they wrestled, Hayyel caught a glance of Pit. His shoulder injuries looked quite severe. In fact, much too severe to be able to fight Balallel on equal grounds.
