†Mariella Cross† Slytherin 1st year She looked at her dress again. "I'm not likely to be on my quiditch team. If anything I'd want to be a keeper." She looked up smiling. "Something about being keeper makes me thrilled, but there's also a chance of getting hated if I were to do that and I don't want that." She gave a dramatic sigh. "My father talked my mother into quitting quiditch in her fifth year though... because he's so strict.. he just doesn't want to admit that he didn't want her injured. Whenever he gets angry it's just so that he could hide the fact he's worried. Just like with my sister's wedding. He nearly destroyed it but only because he'd scared for his oldest baby getting married to a muggle."(( Her dad really does get worried and he just gets 'angry' to hide his worry.. it's cute because everyone knows that but is still a tiny bit afraid of him.. it's only when he's really angry without being worried that they'd have real fear of him))

F i r s t y e a r ▌▌▌▌▌▌ Hufflepuff Lewis expressed a sympathetic grin, a faint smile. As he was listening, he realized that he could somehow relate himself to her. Though he didn’t experienced what his friend had undergone, he was sure he felt the same sadness and perhaps terror. Then a thought came to his mind. And maybe, the origin might be the current chat that he and Mariella were having. His face brightened up once more as the girl finished narrating. “That’s a scary father!” He exclaimed, as if he was scared and chuckled. Afterwards, he blurted out what he was supposed to ask her, “You’re father sure is violent but how are you able to cope up with him?”

†Mariella Cross† Slytherin 1st year She looked at him astounded. "My father isn't violent! Are you daft? He's very caring! It's only if he's really, truly angry that he's scary! The only one who was running for their life was my sister's muggle husband. My sister had gone out with him in secret since her fifth year, reason enough for it, and he's also a muggle. One of the first few muggles to be in our family." She nodded her head. "My father is serious about the family not hiding relationships and marrying pure-bloods, a strict rule of his." She shrugged. "And my father really isn't the way he seems to be by what I just narrated. He's sweet, he's read chapters of books for me since I was a baby, and he's sang to me, taught me to swim and done lots of things, like play dolls for the longest time." She smiled. "he's the greatest father."

F i r s t y e a r ▌▌▌▌▌▌ Hufflepuff Lewis was startled by Mariella’s unexpected reaction. He was really taken back that he wasn’t able to make a response and instead stayed speechless for a while. Nonetheless, he understood her. She was a daughter. As soon as he was able to recover, he became composed and remained as is, while his friend was narrating her father’s personality. Then when Mariella was done speaking, he instantly replied, “I’m sorry for misunderstanding…” and released an embarrassing chuckle. “Well, my father is similar to yours except he’s very friendly to non-magical beings and he’s quite a drunkard...” He added and gave out a friendly grin to her.
