"Wah!" Tambrey stepped back and held her hands up placatingly as Panther landed, followed by a puffed up, angry looking Swiftwing.
"Hello." She greeted the large bird cautiously. "We're sorry t' disturb you, but we kind o' need you both, an' y'r eggs, to be off of that roof, y'know." She was trying to be very careful, hoping she wouldn't anger the bird any further and that he might be a little friendlier. His treatment of his own trainer didn't lend much confidence, though, of course. "... Are you alright, Panther?"
Palu hopped to the edge of the roof to watch. She tilted her head, narrowed her eyes a little and warbled down at them all. She was very admiring of the defensive behaviour of her mate, but she certainly didn't wish the humans to be hurt.

A small groan was heard and then the grunt righted himself. "The floor is hard." he got up checking everything. "I think so, he didn't intend to hurt me." he shot a glare at the pidgeot which was ignored.

Palu stood up on the roof, watching the scene carefully. Hooray for Swiftwing and his defensive skills! ..And, good, it didn't look like either human was hurt down there... She let out a warble down at the ground, checking on the situation.
Tambrey smiled, never taking her eyes off of the Pidgeot. "Good. I'm glad y'r not too hurt... Gladder that y' don't think he meant t' hurt you... I'm... going to slowly try for the ladder. D'ya think you can hold it an' keep talking to your bird? I don't think Palu'd dump me down like that..." Slowly she took an experimental step toward the ladder.

"I doubt she could pick you up quiet the same. Yeah, I'll hold it. I doubt Swiftwing'll hurt you."
The large bird allowed her passage, but pecked at his human for getting too close to the ladder.
"Would you stop that! You already broke my glasses, dumb bird."

Tambrey edged cautiously around the bird all the same and began climbing at a rather quick pace, mindful that the large bird might change his mind at any moment. "Okay... I'll try not to be up there long..."
Palu looked down, watching the ascent with interest. She knew this was exactly what she expected to happen, and that the trainers wouldn't want to harm the eggs... But she also didn't relish the thought of giving up any of the eggs. She gave a shrill warning cry to illustrate that she wasn't entirely happy with this situation.

"Be careful. sounds like your bird is just as protective. And you wonder why I don't like pidgey." he managed to walk behind the ladder and hold it for her. Swiftwing watched Tambrey with Hard eyes, making sure she didn't drop the eggs.

"Oh, she'll behave..." Tambrey called back in reply, giving the Pidgeotto a stern look as she reached the top of the ladder. Palu cooed softly, hopped back, and then warbled another small warning. Fine. She'd behave. But like her mate, she was going to be keeping a wary eye on the trainer with the eggs.
Tambrey smiled though. "Hey there Palu... Y've been keepin' quite a secret up here, huh?" The dark-haired grunt approached the nest, under the watchful gaze of her bird, and smiled down at the eggs. "Panther! There are three up here! We're coming down in just a moment!" She turned back to Palu. "Now... You know we can keep one, okay? If you take the one you'll keep down, I'll carry another... Perhaps you can ask Swiftwing to come and get the other?"
Palu fluffed herself up. She knew she'd have to choose one- she'd heard that earlier- but she wasn't too happy about it. Still, she warbled loudly to let Swiftwing know what was happening.

Swiftwing looked up at his name and stared at her, and then made an unhappy sound. He didn't like their eggs being touched. He flew up to help carry though.
"3? I see." Panther frowned. "Do you want them?" he asked. He had no use for another pidgey. None. He hated pidgey.

Tambrey gingerly made her way down, far more slowly than the birds of course. At Panther's question, choosing to answer when she was back safely on the ground, she shook her head. "Not all o' them. I promised Palu that we could keep one... The one that she's carrying. Erm. I guess I could give one of th' eggs to someone I know..." Yes, she was pretty sure she could. "But that leaves one... I guess if y' didn't want it, you could put it in to be assigned to someone?"
Palu guarded the egg she'd be keeping. She'd been told that this egg would not be going and that was something she'd make sure of.

"Yeah three chicks would be hard." he nodded and Swiftwing glared at him, keeping himself in the air and held his talons out to put the egg in Panther's hands.
The grunt stared at him a moment before realizing what he wanted and taking the egg. "We can give this one to be given out."
Swiftwing glared sharply at the grunt and ruffled his feathers, but didn’t protest. the human was hard enough to handle on his own, the other egg had a better chance in the lottery.
