Sin had pretty hands and soft skin, and for a moment a flash of envy arose again. But she'd gotten to know the ghoul better now, and knew that despite her looks she wasn't entirely relationship lucky herself.
'Hmm..' she closed her eyes, and gave her shoulders a little wriggle, trying to quieten her mind and just let her natural ability flow, as when she attempted to force a vision it would not work.
'Okay,' she said, opening her eyes and looking at Sin. 'It's slightly strange, I can't see much beyond a day or so. There's some sort of conflict. It's not of your making but it involves you. Disappointment, and confusion.' Arachne shook her head. 'Sorry I can't tell you more. But it's definately going to happen very soon.' she let go of Sin's hand.
'Another day I'll give you a full card reading if you like. Our conversation has left me a bit scattered I think.'

Sin relaxed and waited as Arachne seemed to get into the state of mind to do her reading. Then she frowned at what the other ghoul had to say, because words like conflict and disappointment were not good. When Arachne let go Sin slowly withdrew her hand and then slowly nodded.
"Thank you...perhaps knowing it's coming will help soften whatever happens." Sin had no way of knowing that what would happen would shake her so hard she wouldn't even remember the reading. She offered Arachne a smile, after all it wasn't her fault, she just saw what was.
"Of course, I'm sure we'll see each other soon...at the dance?" She grinned and gave her a hopeful look. Date or no date she did want Arachne to go and have a good time. Didn't every ghoul deserve to have a good time? Of course hypocrite that she was, Sin herself probably wouldn't go to the dance solo.

'Perhaps. My Grandmother has always said that knowing what's to come can be helpful when the future is unchangeable. Despite what we do, certain events will play out, and it is better to know they are coming and make peace with it, or with those it might affect than be surprised and not have that opportunity.'
It had been one of the things she'd said when learning of Arachne's determination to not get into any relationships for fearing of seeing a bad future in them.
'Maybe. I haven't entirely decided whether or not to go.' if she did go it would probably be after much to and froing over the decision. She had no date, no escort and there was no certainty that would change.
