Cloee nodded the sprinted into the forest. "Hurry up or you'll get lost!" she said with a laugh as she jumped over a fallen tree. She noticed the storm was getting closer and galloped even faster to get to her home. It was an abandoned cave that was hidden by the surrounding trees. Any kind of soquili would of gotten lost before they could find her home. She felt safe there, but wished she had someone close.

"You doubt my abilities." He grinned a little and kept up with her easily. Though he did have some extra appendages to deal with that she didn't and one of them smacked smartly into a tree branch, causing him to inhale sharply with pain. He paused for a moment to inspect and stretch it a little but couldn't stay put or else he really would lose her. Kendrick continued on, trying to be more careful of the trees this time and slowed once they'd reached the cave. "Definitely a good secret place. I hope you get out a lot though, or else you'd be hidden from the world a whole lot."

"I found this place after the attack and have been here ever since." She told him as she trotted inside of the cave. She used her horn to create a faint light at the end to see if there was anyone in there besides them. She nodded then the light faded away, "You can stay here until the storm blows over." She offered as she smiled at him while her tail wagged.

Kendrick stood in the mouth of the cave, examining his wing. "If you're alright with it, I'll stay. I know this is kind of a confined space so if it's too close I can leave." He winced a little when his wing flexed. "Maybe not fly but I could I stay somewhere else. This is your space, Cloee, don't be afraid to tell me to beat it."

"Did you hurt your wing?" Asking with concern as she moved closer to him. She put her horn over the damaged wing, using a simple healing spell to help with the pain. She moved back after the light from her horn had disappeared. "Is that any better?" Asking as she blinked, watching him. "I'm comfortable with you staying, Kendrick."

He flexed his wing a little again, it still twinged but it was better. "A bit, thank you." He smiled. "I caught it on a tree branch, I forgot they stuck out a bit more. And if you're sure, then thank you again for letting me stay here. It's um... a nice place you have here."

"Your welcome... I'm just waiting for the flowers to be in bloom again. Gonna gather some to lighten up the place." Telling him as she kicked a dead and dried up poppy. There were quite a few of them, but all dead. She looked around then back to him, "There's a straw bed by mine. I've had one there in case someone came by." She spoke softly then moved over to her bed. Laying down on it with a yawn as she felt tired.

"Oh..thank you." He sniffed at the straw curiously, never really coming across it out in nature. It looked similar to grasses though so it couldn't be all bad. He wasn't too tired but he could give his legs a rest so he lay down on the straw bed. "You can rest, I'll keep an eye on the storm."

Cloee yawned with a nod, "Sounds wonderful... Thank you, Kendrick." she spoke tiredly then rested her head onto the bed of straw. She closed her eyes as her tail wrapped around her body. She began to drift off into slumber as she let the sleep take over.
