Unfortunately, these elves had neglected to consider the size difference of feet as the elvish shoe sizing system was much different from the usual. Their size 9 was 9 centimeters long.

Fortunately, a lot of children now had shoes for their baby dolls!

unfortunatly the elven shoes where magic and only meant for living things, and so when the shoes came into contact with the plastic baby dolls, it caused a frightening reaction. All of the baby dolls turned into little zombies at night that would nibble on the toes of all the sleeping inhabitants of the city. leaving little bloody stumps on their feet where the toes once where! gonk

Fortunately, the demon hunters were still around town. They took it upon themselves to find a solution and decided to use anti-magic sponges to absorb all the messy excess magic and convert it into non-magical gravel.

unfortunately the towns people were still shoeless from the elven shoe sizing confusion, so now they were force to walk through the city, stepping on hard merciless pointy gravel. owie!
