Attention caught by a rather miss matched gathering of students, Hadiyya made the slight detour from her current destination to join the group. Curious as to just what was going on. Christof was met with a smile in greeting, as were the others around him, and then her gaze landed on the auction sign up. Auction? Dark lips pursed thoughtfully as she considered it a moment. And then an idea struck her. A deliciously wicked little idea. Though more like a scheme, really.

As the sheet was freed up, the djinn was quick to pluck it up, drawing the pencil from the patchwork's hand, and wrote Westus just below Calder's name.

It didn't even register that the kelpie wasn't here to have written his own name.

Ren heard Belladonna's voice call out after him as he started to turn away, and swiveled back around to face her, lifting an eyebrow.

"Ahhh, if it isn't the the little witch from the other day," he said cheerfully, sweeping into a overly extravagant bow to greet her. "Hello, Belladonna, it's lovely to see you again."

Ren glanced over at the sign up sheet, then back at the witch, raising a finger to his lips as if indicating a secret. "Ah," he said lightly, titling his head, a playful smile on his face "I have a ghoulfriend, see, and I'm not so sure she'd be up for me going on a date with someone else. And I like her too much to go out with someone else anyway," he added, tossing a wink at her. "However, I do have a best friend that I know would love to participate; I've signed him up."

Gabrian would most likely kill him later for it, but Ren was far too pleased with his idea to feel bad about that. It was perhaps a very good thing that LW was the nix's ghoulfriend; Ren knew she'd get a kick out of it.

After they ran and hid for their lives, that was.

"And you, Miss Witch?" Ren asked. "Are you participating?"

"If I had any pets, maybe I'd care. Maybe." Well, she had Mimic though she considered him more like a familiar, he was probably a minipet. She didn't consider him a pet though. He was her best friend, the only one she could trust and confide in. Still, this ghoul --a witch if she could judge by appearance alone -- had made sense. She could see the benefit of a minipet park. She remained doubtful that they would actually succeed though. "I don't know if you're deaf or just a #$@Q$, but I had clearly said that he was going to the dance with me."

She was distracted by the patchwork. What was he doing? She couldn't help but smile as Christof wrote another boil's name down in the list. She wondered if this Calder fellow even gave the patchwork permission to do that. A glimmer of respect shone in her eyes. Could this undead boil have a hint of mischievousness to him? She certainly hoped so! The troubled ones were much more fun!

"That's more like it," she praised him, taking her hand to ruffle the hair atop his head.

(Sorry for the goofy symbols, I have no idea if curse words are accepted of frowned upon.)

"H-hey, You okay, Chuppi?" He asked confused when she suddenly clung to him. Was she getting nervous about the crowd? Or was she getting simply getting stressed? Well whatever the reason, he wrapped his arms around her in a comforting hug. She looked as though she needed one.

"It's getting pretty crowded in here. What is it exactly you have going on? Something to do with that dance I've been hearing about?" He asked; pulling his tail a little closer, just as someone was about to step on it. Maybe they would need to move to safer spot... At this rate, he feared that they were going to be trampled.

It was by luck that Tsetsiliya caught a glimpse of the pink-clothed chupacabra as she wandered between the classrooms. Actually, it was likely that the girl's outfit had something to do with that, as it was rather hard not to notice it. Perhaps it was morbid curiosity as to why the track team captain would be wearing something like that, but the girl seemed to have a list on hand. What were these sign-ups for?

Tsetsiliya wandered over, nudging her way quietly through the small crowd that had gathered. She had learned her lesson from the incident with the spin the bottle that it was important to read things before jumping in, so this time she took care to read the list.

Auction? There were a number of names already! She had heard Belladonna in the crowd just as she approached mention that it was for charity.. well, Tsetsiliya could get behind that! She fished in her bag for a pencil and immediately wrote her name down. This was certainly for a good cause, so she didn't mind spending a few pumpkin seeds. It would certainly make her parents proud!

"P-Pardon me," she asked Temes with a small smile. "What kind of goods are to be auctioning?"
PostPosted: Sun Feb 06, 2011 9:28 pm

Belladonna didn't feel like fighting with the whatever-she-was, even if she was wearing a cute outfit, so instead she shrugged and kept all comments about how creepy and strange and many other things and instead only shrugged at the girl and produced a rude gesture when no one was looking. It was good then that Ren had turned around because she could bound over to him and curtsy just as extravagantly.
"Lovely to see you again too! And ghoulfriend? You hadn't told me. If I didn't already know your ways I'd be heartbroken!" The witch told him, lightly tapping him once to show her fake pain. She wasn't sure what the wink was for, so she gave one back just to be on the safe side. "Of course I'm participating! I'd really love a park to take my pets on a walk. Tartuffe really needs the exercise. He's a chubby little cat I recently got! He's very adorable."

"Hi Siliya! How are you?" The witch asked, pulling the girl into a hug. After her question, Belladonna's eyebrows furrowed and she looked at the girl. "The goods are ourselves... We're auctioning dates or, in a few of our cases, days. Like, if Ren bid on me and won we'd go shopping or go on a picnic with our pets? He probably won't though." Here she winked at Ren again and felt it was more appropriate this time. "Does that make sense? If you don't want to auction yourself you can scratch your name out..." Actually, Belladonna was a little worried about Siliya. She didn't know what she getting into! She was too naive, too innocent to be tossed carelessly to the ravenous pit of bidding males!!

The hunchback was lost in the sea of warring emotions once again, battle stations at the ready as the part of his brain that was bitter towards the Kelpie reveled in his mischievous little act of disobedience. That had been what Calder wanted him to do, right? Right. It was quickly overpowered by the electric sensations coursing down from the Imp's hand in his hair, goosebumps racing along his shoulders and arms. His Id was already sharpening bone surgical tools, eyeing his carefully crafted mental plans and personal blueprints, but his Ego quickly gave him a good sock, telling him to wait, even as his hands reached up to gingerly, politely reach out to touch the ivory skin of her wrist, heart racing. Quietly, the superego nudged him gently with it's toe, quietly whispering just what she was... and what HE was... and what she had said... and what Barth had said... but the Id was back with an especially gleaming scalpel to quiet it for the time being.

Hell's Bells she was gorgeous.

The interweb was amazing.

It had been quite the trying string of days for the wrath demon. First there had been music class and that damn music stand, then botany, and lastly some strange mess at the edge of the forest during which he had botched his FEAR attack and was now... like this. West couldn't remember the last time he had slept, and he supposed it didn't matter. At the moment, the only persistent thought circling in his head was that he was the very antithesis of wrath. It was humiliating.

When he saw the diminutive monster ghoul and her shiny pink dress, he almost smiled. Almost. He wasn't that far gone. What in the hell was going on here? He recognized several of the people just standing around, if not the chupacabra who appeared to be everyone's focus, so he took a chance and approached the crowd. Taking note of Yaya's presence, he shuffled over to her specifically, not even registering the fact that she might be a little too interested in the cause of his current state.

"What's all this?" he asked her, trying to get a glimpse of the sign-up sheet currently in Tsetsiliya's hands.

With her attention so eagerly focused on the small cluster of students around her, mainly Christof and the two ghouls, Yaya actually missed West's presence until her spoke. And even then, it took her a solid handful of seconds to register that it had been him that spoke. His voice, those words, it'd been so.. So incredibly clear. That wasn't right, not for the avarice demon. It brought the marids lips together in a thoughtful little pout, as she turned to him, brows lowered, gaze suitably suspicious.

And now that she had a second to consider it, why wasn't he swearing at her? In fact, why wasn't he having a melt down over his name on the sheet. Had he not seen it? Something was clearly not right here.

Dark lips twitching gently to one side, Yaya glanced to the side towards the sheet then back up to the demon boil beside her. "It's a sign up for an Auction." Her tone was matter of fact, and before he could question further, she'd stepped forward to place a hand on his arm. "Are you feeling alright? You seem.. off." For lack of a better word. She was actually a little worried for him.

What was this? Aksaja wandered up to the group, raising brows slightly at the assortment of people there. A . . . Scarentine Auction? Oh my, that could be loads of fun. Smirking, the lightning dragon walked up to Chuppi. "Hey, if it's not too late, sign me up? This seems like the kinda thing the Host Club should do once it's all started up!"

(( I'll edit his name onto the sheet later unless someone else wants to add it for me XD;; *can't get to Photoshop atm* ))

Ignoring her hand on his arm for a moment, West leaned forward and looked over Yaya's shoulder at the now-unobstructed sheet. He glanced down at the brown fingers clearly visible against the blue of his sleeve and sighed. Not even bothering to pull his arm away from the ghoul or remove her hand by force, West simply shifted around her and removed his name from the list. He heard Aksaja's question/request and added the lightning dragon in his place.

West turned to face Yaya again. "Nothing. I mean, yes. 'M fine." His brow furrowed, briefly morphing his expression into a watered down version of the one he usually wore, and he shook his head as if to clear it, before starting toward the demon dorms.

Barth was, well, a mess. His clothes were rumpled and soggy, and his hair, which normally arranged itself in whatever interesting shape he had slept it into, had been braided. With ribbons.

It made his head look smaller. The base of his horns was exposed. They were gleaming and intimidating, like someone had taken a nail file to the ruddy edges.

He looked cold, and wet. He ignored the large amounts of pink entirely.

"Christof," he said, very pathetically.

The hunchback started out of his revery of blissful dismemberment when his Master's voice drove into his ears- not NOW! He was busy! But that part of him that was still an Igor through and through suddenly leaped out into the emotional battle, a shovel in each hand to beat back the other feelings in a blind rage and he sullenly turned-

And blinked.

And raised his free hand as though about to speak.

And then put it down again.

What in Halloween had happened to HIM?

The sensation he felt bubbling up in his chest was foreign and frightening and something the usually sullen quiet boy never seemed capable of- muffled by tightly clamped lips behind a snugly wound scarf came the chortle of... laughter.

She watched as the boil peered over her shoulder at the sheet, saw the exact moment he noticed his name on it, and braced for a reaction that never came. Now she knew something was definitely wrong. West yelled and hollered by nature, NATURE. That he wasn't throwing an absolute fit over the addition of his name on something that would have been no doubt humiliating for him, was down right worrying.

She watched with narrowed eyes as he took the sheet, calmly crossed his name out, added Aksaja's, and handed it back before turning to walk away.

Something was wrong. Very very wrong. "West." Her voice was filled with concern as she called after him, walking forward to follow him. "What's wrong?" Obviously he wasn't fine. Calm was -not- fine for a wrath demon. She caught his arm as she came up beside him, looping her's around it as she looked up at him. Expression saying clearly that she knew something was wrong.

Riley was suddenly pleased that Israfel had distracted her long enough to stay - she would have never wanted to miss this.

She walked over to Barth and reached up into his hair, tugging gently on a few braids. Her voice, though public, was absolutely deadpan in reaction. Oh, Barth. I love what you've done with your hair. Now I can pull on your pigtails when I sit behind you in class, since I secretly like you but don't have the guts to tell you. At least, I believe that is how it goes.

She pulled her hand away and shook the water off of it.
