We're most likely doing a cirque du solei show called "Journey of Man." It has a long mello/trumpet duet. That means me and Miguel get to solo!!!!!!

Sooo, no more Giving Tree. We just found out a couple days ago that we were authorized the rights by the wrong people of the Shel Silverstein Foundation (or something like that), so now we're not allowed to do it anymore...when we already were getting props and had almost all of the music written.
At least we found out early on, though, so we'll hopefully have something new soon. I hope it's good, considering it's my senior year. :[

Ours was just announced via our band director on Facebook. She didn't post what songs we will be doing, but our theme is The Music of Beethoven.
Our band did this same theme a year or two before I came along, so we will probably use the same music and everything. I'm pretty excited, since it was a great show.

Hey everyone!! So i made section leader for the front ensemble!! 3nodding I'm excited to say that this is state year for Red Oak TX and our show is titled The Lion & The Wind (maybe the other way around) it is an Arabian show which means the color guard will be having sabers and other cool stuff. As for my section we have the most amazing key board parts, along with a beast drum beat finish to the show. The show was originally preformed by the drum corps Magic of Orlando in the year 2002, 2004, or 2006? I don't remember which one. We are adding the woodwind parts to it. Totally ready for this new marching season!!! blaugh
