In terms of ideas, this wasn't one of Merope's best. In fact, Cyrilla had told him several times as they walked from the Undead dorms towards the classroom how stupid it was and that he should have brought another minipet instead. It wasn't like he was forced with his choice; there were many willing and eager minipets to follow him. Granted that some of them would require a fish bowl, and others would do nothing but sleep... But they would be much easier to handle than the minipet he had picked. The undead boil had a thick leather glove on one hand, his fingers lightly holding onto the sharp talons of his Wrathalos. All in all, he looked like a falcon handler, aside from the fact that he was clenching a black-and-blue striped sedative whip in one hand. His glowing green eyes darted to the creature on his arm, trying to keep a close eye on it while also trying to watch where he was going. "I keep telling ya, Cyr," he began, "Everything's okay! Rathalos here will behave. I've got the whip and his favorite treat: fish jerky." It probably didn't help that he himself liked to eat it too. It wasn’t just the taste. The texture of the fish jerky made him want to rip and tear, to shake his head as he shredded the jerky to small bits and pieces with his talons. Just in case, he had shaken down the vending machine prior to class and managed to stuff several bags into his backpack, which his minipet was eying sharply. Merope looked around the classroom, stopping before Cyrilla bumped into the back of him. The undead boil hurried in towards the sign-up sheet, placing his whip in his mouth to hold it as he shyfully scribbled his name on the sheet. With that accomplished, Merope slid into the seat next to Yui. Right in the front, where he could block the view of the teacher just by fanning his wings, which he was doing right now. "Hey Yui," he greeted, doing his best to act natural.

Cyrilla was particularly grumpy all the way to class. She and her fafnir, Star, were both giving wary glances to Rathalos the entire walk. "You keep saying that, you know. But I'm still not sure I believe you Mer. Seriously, didn't we have enough of a problem with this last week? Just remember, I'm holding you accountable if anything happens with him." she her wary glance at the wrathalos turned to an angry glare, the dracolich's headfins pining back as far as they could.
Taking a few steps back as Merope stopped, then practically ran into the class to sign up, the colchian made her way in, and signed up beneath him. She peered over and saw him take a seat next to an unfamiliar ghoul, and slid in to his other side, much to Star's chagrin. Star felt small and puny next to the larger, wrathalos, and tried to puff up a bit, to match it's size. This of course was ultimately a failure, and Cyrilla just chuckled a bit to herself, giving the fafnir a light pat on the head. She tapped the fish jerky she'd snapped up from Merope when she'd first met up with him, completely forgetting to bring something for Star. Usually she fed the fafnir on a solid diet of gems and coins, but she'd lost (it was home in her pile) the gems she'd meant to bring.
Ah well, hopefully Star would not fuss too much.

If he continued to look her way, it would become painfully Obvious about what he thought about her, so Merope busied himself by releasing his hold on Rathalos, allowing the wyvern to step onto the desk and glower at him. Merope rolled his eyes and reached into his bag, grabbing a package of fish jerky and opening it. Immediately those in the area would note the sharp scent.
"Come on, Cyr," he laughed, looking to his friend, "I came prepared this time! I brought a couple bottles of water, just in case." Nevermind that the bottles would do nothing, it was the thought that count.
Rathalos turned his head as the smaller minipet puffed up. The wyvern tilted its head to one side, before spreading its wings in a lazy, arrogant stretch. "Be nice, Rath," Merope scolded, his grip tightening on the sedative miniwhip just in case.

Cyrilla stared blankly at Merope for a moment. If there was ever a moment she had faultered on the idea that he was not as clueless as their third counterpart (who had come down with a mysterious .... illness... before class had started), it was pretty well set in stone now. The leviathan was a sweet boil, just... yeah.
She attention was drawn from the Lost Fathom's boil as he snapped at the Wrathalos. Star made what sounded like a cross between a dragon's growl and a bird's chirp at the other pet, clearly unimpressed with it trying to make a bigger show of itself. The nerve of it all. Cyrilla had to tap the tip of Star's nose to quiet him down. "No Star. I don't care what Mer says. That thing is bigger than you, and I don't feel like trying to keep it from wanting fafnir jerky instead of fish jerky." she frowned, stealing a glare at her friend's pet again.
The dracolich finally let out a sigh in that moment, realizing there was no further sense in trying to convince the boil he was in the wrong. Merope was stubborn, and he was happy with his decision. Even if the class did set aflame again, he'd probably still, if given the option to go back in time, do it all over again.
"Whatever you say, man."

Though Belladonna had hustled down the hallway, very nearly unsettling the pet that was crouching against her left shoulder, she still ended up late and winded outside the classroom. To save herself at least a little grace and dignity she had paused, taking deep breaths and running a finger against the zombie-squirrel's head between his ears in the most soothing gesture she could manage with shaking hands. After a suitable time just standing outside the room looking a fool, Belladonna took one last deep breath, squared her shoulders and entered the room. Of course it was full, but that didn't stop her! It did make her pause and attempt to smile at everyone she could, though it was hard since she knew quite a lot of people in the room... Plus everyone's pets looked so nice and groomed and not... Slightly decaying like Belladonna's zombie... But hey! She was damn proud of him in her own way, so with another squaring of shoulders (poor Galahad was about done with that certain motion) she marched forward and signed her name. After that she turned around to see Junko and her little Aoi. "Junko! Hi! Come sit with me!!" The told the girl, tugging at her arm and pulling her along to the empty seats near Daisuke. "Hi Daisuke! Can we sit with you? Oh! This is Galahad!" Belladonna did a little flourish of movement toward her shoulder to showcase the pet who promptly turned and looked around at everyone before giving one little bob of his head. And a very small hiss. He was learning introductions very well! Without really waiting for a reply the witch slipped into a seat and pulled out a little bag full of decayed and molding nuts that would serve as Galahad's treat for the class. "This is really fun! Its so nice to see everyone's pets..." The witch mused to anyone nearby, propping her head in one hand on the desk.

Aoi was rolling around and gnawing angrily on his leash by this point, and Junko literally facepalmed, dragging her hand down the side of her face and sighing. "Professor? This...is the one I was telling you about on groanspring..." Junko sighed, pouting toward the foxsquirrel. He was such a little brat. Junko looked up when she heard her name, gasping with delight upon spotting Belladonna. "Hello! Um...o-okay." Junko tugged gently on Aoi's leash to make the foxsquirrel follow her. He refused. Junko groaned and tugged again, now dragging the foxsquirrel who was laying on his back gnawing on the leash. Ugh.

The last class had been one hell of a lesson, although it failed to really teach her anything on how to train her Shenglong Ryu. But she did get a free whip out of it! Although, she was still reluctant to use the thing, even when Ryu had taken it off her and hid it. It had taken some time to find it again. Perhaps this class, which promised to teach them how to use fear candy. would be more effective. She had brought with her some Raw chicken, a treat that her minipet seemed to enjoy. But even with the treat, it took alot of effort to drag the reluctant minipet to to new classroom. Once she was there, she stood at the doorway to catch her breath. Her minipet, however, seemed to have different ideas. Being dragged to this classfor a second time, he was in a foul mood. An unfortunately for Astra, he had caught the eye of the professor's nergal lepus. He was quick to spot the way it was looking down on him, as if he was nothing compared to the scrap of fur. He growled, baring his teeth at the minipet, before a sharp tug on his chain caught his attention "Ryu! don't!" Astra hissed at her minipet while trying to find a place to sit.

Making his way into the classroom (he was pleased to note that there was no fire this time--he had yet to embarrass himself with any out-of-control flames in public so far, and wanted to keep it that way, if at all possible), Aedan shifted the messenger bag he carried, glancing around the room. Having opted to not disturb his scruffle this time, he'd brought Actaeon, instead. The shooting star had become his regular minipet companion since he'd gotten it, and while he didn't listen to Aedan all the time, he at least seemed to want to please. Actaeon was perched easily on Aedan's shoulder, and looked around the room with open curiosity, but made no move to get down from his perch to go explore more thoroughly, instead chirping in Aedan's ear, chewing idly at a stray strand of hair.Finishing signing his name on the sign-up sheet, Aedan straightened, sighing and shaking his head to remove his hair from the shooting star's mouth. "I just fed you before we left!" he muttered, moving to sit in one of the seats towards the back of the room, even as he fished in a pocket for some candied lemon peel, Actaeon's favorite. "With how often you eat, even if we weren't supposed to bring your favorite food along, I'd have had to if I wanted you to sit still for the whole class!" he continued, holding a rather large piece up to the hungry shooting star. Delicately nibbling at the offering, as soon as Aedan was settled into his seat, Actaeon clambered down onto the desk in front of the hellhorse, before going back to his treat. For the time being, at least, it would take some sort of natural disaster to distract him from what he was doing.Giving Actaeon a distracted pat, Aedan looked around the classroom a bit more carefully, recognizing some of the faces from the first minipets training class, but also seeing quite a few new ones.

Yui blushed very slightly as Merope sat at the desk beside her. Allowing the tiniest of pleased smiles to flicker across her face, she gave the undead leviathan a nod.
"Good morning, Merope," she replied in a voice that, at least to trained ears, was a tiny bit too high pitched and nervous. Unfortunately, Yui did not have those trained ears and thought that she'd managed to sounds completely natural.
Anemone, for her part, had decided that she'd had enough snuggling for the moment and was stretching out, trying to sniff at the person her owner seemed so glad to see. Waggling a paw at the big, blue winged guy, she tried to get his attention. She liked making new friends. New friends usually meant pettings and treats!

Airi was being persistent. She had decided she wanted the treats and thus not giving Daisuke any other option than to open the packet and hand her one. She licked at the chocolate treat them took it within her fangs, nibbling on the small, delicious treat. At least it would keep her quiet. His eyes searched the room whilst his pet was distracted seeing the professor's pets move over towards the students nearer the front, which also lead to his eyes falling on a new face that entered.
Bella and a new pet. That made one class they had together but this came across as a popular class to take since who didn't have a minipet. He sat there quietly until she made her way over, pulling Junko along with her. He smiled at the two ghouls. "Sure." He said, idly turning his head to the squirrel on her shoulder. "Hey there Galahad and... Junko." His attention wandered to the other ghoul, sweat beading. Looks like she was having a bit of trouble with her pet... It was amusing, it seemed to be doing everything in it's power to disagree with its owner.
Airi lifted her head at the sound of other voices addressing them, curling her maw happily she started to paw at the familiar witch before slinking past her leg, purring.
"Sorry about her." He rubbed the back of his head with a small sigh at his affectionate pet, it was nice to know she liked her though. "Looks like we have one class together after all." He grinned, leaning his arms crossed on the table, looking at Bella and her squirrel before turning his gaze back over to the oriental ghoul. "Need some help?"

The very instant Natalia had heard about Professor Malcom's second course; she was smitten, using all her resources to find out where, when, and what the subject would pertain to. At dawn, the morning of the classes scheduling, the were awoke to not one but two empty holes in two petite skull heads looking in her direction from the door. A smile, however sleepy it may have seemed, spread on pale lips as the monster slipped out from underneath the sheets and shuffled over.
"What are you two doing out of bed?" The ghoul murmured, patting both of the head before shrugging and scurrying to get ready.
For whatever reason, Right On seemed to take to Janie, the Brittle little female, like butter on bread. The two were inseparable on the surface, seemingly content with each others company. It was nice to see, considering Right On's history with other pets...It also seemed to raise some suspicion in the ghoul that would otherwise not exist, if the pathling weren't so open to sharing his room and his master. What could possibly be the goat creatures angle? It was apparent that he acted as alpha, and happily so, where as Janie followed him around accordingly but...
Well, they both looked so happy. Natalia tried not to dissect the situation, accepting it for what it appeared to be. It might have benefited both herself and Janie to further her curiosity, but...well, only time would reveal such bullying...
In any case the ghoul clothed herself and reached for the collar. She had already explained her reasons for taking the Brittles instead of the Pathling, and from the looks of things Right On was relatively understanding. The last class hadn't gone over so smoothly...Natalia assumed it had to do with that.
Taking Janie under her arm, careful not to jab a hip bone into her side, the monster approached the door and turned only to wave off Right On.
Janie on the other hand looked back and caught the coiling green smoke from the pathlings eyes making skulls above his head, and could hear the rumbles of a low and threatening growl...and with it, her body shivered uncontrollably.
"Janie, it's okay!" Natalia reassured the Brittles as they approached the classroom. "This will be fun!"
Upon entering, her orange eyes scanned the faces, letting them fall on Gabrian, Renaissance, and LW indefinitely. She thought to sit next to them, knowing they wouldn't mind, but when Whisper's sweet face and orange outfit caught her attention...her mind drew a blank and her feet moved themselves over toward the Hellhound.
"Hey..." She said with a charming grin, settling into a seat closest to the other ghoul. Natalia had no interest in the tray now, mostly ignoring everything except Janie and Whisper. "Haven't seen you in a while. Whats up?"

To say that Gabrian was feeling slightly inadequate by the idea of having to cook was... a gross understatement. He was sure that if the Professor asked him to cook they'd have a repeat of their first class at their hands; there was also the fact LW was not particularly good at cooking either, and nor was Ren, whom he spotted entering the room and sitting beside them. He felt the she she-wolf pat her leg with one arm and then leaned into her again, "We're screwed," he told her flatly. Davy took this chance to nuzzle the ghoul's hand as she reached to pat him, apparently pleased to have been greeted in such a warm manner.
And it was right about then that the nix realized that LW's batling was missing; in it's place was a... rather disturbing little mimic, which seemed keen on staring at them, "Errr... LW? Where's Callix?" a pause as he motioned down at the mimic on the desk, "And whose that?" for some odd reason, that didn't seem like her minipet of choice, but then again... different people liked different pets. Whom was he to judge? His choices of pets were certainly strange, "That's an... interesting choice for a pet," a pause, "A dangerous one too, apparently. Why is trying to bite you?"
He turned to look at Ren flopped tiredly on the desk beside them, arching a brow at him, "Geez, what happened to you?" he paused and peeked at his ghoulfriend before continue, "The fact LW seems to be awake makes me think that this time it wasn't some sort of video game competition that kept you up," Alessa walked over to them and he paused again, this time to offer her a nod, "Why yes, yes indeed. It looks like we might be cooking today, which means that it's probably going to be up to poor Alessa here to keep the room from burning down to the ground. Again."
Before he could continue talking Professor Malcom's nergal lepus made her way over to him, apparently ridding on Vlad's back. The nix blinked once as the small creature hopped off the invisible dog and presented him with the Professor's letter. Turning his head, he looked over to Malcom and nodded slightly at him, "This seems adequate, Professor," he didn't really raise his voice much, but he figured the man would hear him just fine.
The Floresce, for his part seemed... intrigued as the lepus approached, his head having turned away from where he'd been nuzzling against LW's hand so he could watch the nergal pet. When she gestured for him to come to her, he seemed to hesitate momentarily, his eyes lowering down to Sheelah; her attitude seemed to be even worse than usual, and thus, with a small 'churr'ing sound, he decided he had nothing to lose by obeying the other female. After a beat or two, Davy moved to slither off from around his owner's neck, landing with a soft flop of a sound in front of Julie. His head neared her and he sniffed the air in front of her face, but for some odd reason, he seemed to be keeping enough distance to allow him to withdraw; almost as if he were used to being smacked or hit if he got too near. What WAS it with female lepuses and smacking him when he got too near any of them anyhow?

Truffles tugged on her leash with an annoyed grunt. She wanted to lay down, NOW, and she knew that if she laid down at that particular moment, she would just have to get up again when her master found a seat.
Luckily for the pig, it looked like Alwine had noticed one of her friends, Belladonna.
"Oh, Belladonna...! Would you mind terribly if I sat with you?"
Truffles was already starting to drag the haunt to a desk next to the witch, so it looked like she wasn't given much of a choice. Finally, the haunt started to float, allowing the pig to march her to a seat. With a huff, the pig laid down and gave another inelegant snort.
"This is Truffles," said Alwine, with an accepting sigh. "Other than my cat, she is probably one of my most disobedient minipets. I do love her, tough... isn't her rhinestone collar cute?"

"Oh I hope we are," Alessa said with feeling. None of the other classes she was in had ever brought in cooking before, which she supposed was sensible, but that didn't mean she wouldn't adore the prospect. She did pass the others a brief glance and realized they didn't seem...quite as enthusiastic as she was. Oh, well, she supposed that made sense, they weren't exactly...great in the kitchen.
She nodded to LW, trying to tone down her excitement, but failing terribly, "Of course I will! Don't worry, I won't let any of you burn down the place." She took one look at LW's minipet suddenly and almost jumped, but her giddiness made her recover easily, "Oh my, who's that LW? He's um..." Scary. Creepy. Yes.
Sheelah saw Julia come over and immediately shifted on Alessa's shoulder, crouching down in a very tense, ready to spring position. She was giving the other female lepus a very cold, one that usually sent Richard crying and even unsettled Captain Jack. Her eyes narrowed further when Davy jumped down to join her. She snatched one of the raisins Alessa was holding and chucked it with very precise aim at Davy's head, smacking him quite nicely on the head. If Davy didn't get away form that other lepus soon, she was going to beat that little green b***h up.
Alessa did seem to notice something odd with Sheelah as she peeked over and frowned, though she didn't seem to get what was wrong, "Sheelah, wasn't wrong with you?"
(( I apologize for Sheelah, she is a butt face. I LOVE YOU JULIE << And Davy))

"Man, Aoi has gotten bad..." Belladonna murmured to Junko as she watched the girl literally drag her pet across the floor, he still gnawing at the leash around his neck. Galahad was wearing a leash, but a very small one that was nearly imperceptible since his matted fur covered it up and Belladonna was even really holding onto the handle. He was just too paranoid to leave her shoulder most of the time, having inhabited none of her own curiosity. "Thank Daisuke--And hi Airi!" The witch cooed, bending over to pick up the lovely creature and plant a big kiss on its forehead before taking her seat next to her wisp friend. "Its so nice to finally have a class with you! You'll probably get top marks, Mr. Study All The Time." Here she playfully pushed his shoulder before turning to give Airi a good pet. "She's so sweet..." The witch murmured, looking over to Junko. "Aoi is in major need of help..." Too bad the witch was at a loss as to what help to give.
And then Belladonna heard her name from a very familiar person and turned to look at the headless girl and her adorable pig. "Alwine! Of course sweetie, please come join us! The more the scarier you know!" Here the witch reached over to help pull out the seat, taking the time to bend over and introduce herself to Alwine's pet. "Hello Truffles! I'm Belladonna, and what a lovely collar you have!" She stood, now addressing Alwine. "I love it! Did you get it at the pet store in the maul? They have the cutest things!! And a cat?! What cat??" Her dear love of felines could not be quelled and though the witch had briefly considered taking one of the more colorful kittens in her disposal (they were apparently from the circus and Belladonna adored them!) she figured Galahad could use some socializing.
