It took her a few seconds to realize that she wasn't the only one that had gotten bitten. Quite a few of the other students in the room also were bleeding or had been attacked by the stand. Realizing that she had some bandage wraps in her pocket from the Christmas Raid, Alcyone gingerly wrapped her hand hoping that the bleeding would stop soon. "Hello Junko! and Gabrian! Man, that thing is nasty. I didn't get away fast enough." Sheepishly, Alcyone rubbed her tender hand and wondered why everything was so dangerous at this school.
She hadn't met Tahki before but Alcie couldn't help but feel bad at the sight of the poor ghoul. Walking over to her, Alcie wasn't good with comforting others but she held out the wraps hoping that the other student would accept them. "That stand got a little bit of me too." Frowning, she held up her injured hand for Tahki to see. Blood was beginning to seep through the bandages but it looked like it was getting better.

"Ah, so it tried to claim your fingers too, eh? I hope it didn't smart too badly." He inquired, knowing well that devious expression that touched the ghoul's exquisite features, and the nergal took his place at her side, a rather gentle touch at the small of her back stating without words the boil's standing in Yaya's graces. Wrinkling his nose as he then noted the djinn's patient, he studied for a moment the way that Christof interacted with the ebon-haired lass.
Frankly, it made him uncomfortable.
Then again, he might just be paranoid, but he was nothing if not protective of those he cared for, and just now the watery demon ranked number one on Sharra's priority list. He'd just keep a wary eye out, and hopefully he could put that niggling worry to rest. Hey wait, was the Igor missing a finger there? Ouch. "Ick...it really is a finger-muncher...rather rude of it, wouldn't you say?"

"Yes it did, though just a n**." Clear blues hd rolled up to watch him as he neared, and that devious little smile of her's softened as his fingers brushed along the exposed line of her back. The warmth of his palm a comforting and welcome presence. "Poor Christof here seems to have gotten it the worst." Thus far, no one else had lost a digit. It was probably a lucky thing that the patchwork was, well, a patchwork. A missing finger, though perhaps painful, and no doubt inconvenient, was easily fixed.
The brush of rough fingers along her wrist were mostly ignored, passed off as a nervous sort of gesture or perhaps a mark or gratitude. Her attention was much more focused on the remaining stub of his finger and keeping pressure on the bandage she'd pressed there to ebb to the flow of sluggish blood. Her hands were getting incredibly messy, but Yaya had never really been the squeamish sort, and blood didn't phase her. She would need a towel or rag once she'd finished playing nurse, to clean up. Blood didn't come out of silk well, and looked particularly bad against blue.
"You wouldn't happen to have a spare on you somewhere, Christof?"

Slowly, the warm, fluttery edges of his vision smoothed themselves out into clarity as the taller boil beside the djinn came into focus. Yaya's question was lost on him as he glowered up at Sharra, eyes narrowing and his grip on her wrist tightening. Still, he said nothing, although his patchworked face had gone red behind his tightly wrapped scarf, as though this action and a look was all he needed to get the taller boil to leave them alone. He was getting mended here, and as far as the Igor was concerned, those hands belonged to HIM.

While she was not talented in the area of music, Lizzy found herself in the classroom where Introductory Music was going to be taught, a guitar case in hand - a string instrument for a Spider? A match made in Halloween indeed! While the guitar was an acoustic guitar (and not an electric guitar like the one she had used back in Battle of the Bands), the Demoness had experience with both instruments and had decided on the one that seemed most fitting for the class... Considering its name.
Upon entering the classroom, Lizzy instantly decided that she had made the right choice.
Quickly, she walked up to the grinning music stand, fingers reaching out for the sign-up sheet hesitantly; judging by the blood splattered across Christof's name (she never thought he was a musical type), there had been some casualties before her... She frowned, whipping out her pen as she swiftly grabbed the piece of paper, not allowing her hands to get hurt; doesn't the music class Professor know that a musician's treasure are their hands?
To top that off, she also relied on her hands to sew... No way was she going to get careless.
Skipping the line below Christof's name due to the blood, she wrote her full name down, deciding it best not to just write 'Lizzy' since this seemed like quite the sophisticated class... The other students seemed to have the same idea.

Sin had heard about a music class and she was very interested, her other classes were a challenge but music was something she genuinely enjoyed. Oh sure she could smash drums and throw them at people to save herself, but she was actually more a fan of the gentler instruments. The harp was her particular favorite, but this was an introductory class so she would take what lessons she could get. She walked into the class and blinked when she noticed students holding injured hands. She looked over as she saw Rosc leaving and tilted her head.
"Is the class full?"
Then she noticed that the stand in the back had what looked like music-no sign up sheets on it. "Oh guess not..." She eyed Rosc curiously a moment longer and then walked back to the stand. Hmmm...now she saw where people were getting their injuries.
She pulled out her pen and quickly signed her name in the first spot she could snatching her hand back at the stand tried to snap down on her hand. She gave her fingers a wiggle and then smirked and turned smiling when she saw Alcyone and then throwing Rosc another glance. He'd been bit, was he leaving because of that?

The more Christof held gently to that wrist and continued to stare with a strange, far-off look that only seemed to want to convince Yaya that running off into the sunset was a swell idea, the more Calder was actually a little proud of the Igor. He never felt closer to him, being the romantic that he was, and approved of the mismatched pairing. However, that was changed when a boil Calder never saw before came up to her and set a gentle hand upon the ghoul's back in a gesture that said to her 'Hello', but told the other boils to back off, she was his. While he wasn't one to go after Yaya, the single act of possession made him want to dig his hoof into the ground and lower his head in a challenge, but he resisted the urge. He wasn't one to go after Yaya as a prize. She wasn't his type, but Christof had changed in the presence of the other, nameless boil. Despite his many complexions, they all turned various shades of red, and he seemed to be unwilling to give up Yaya's wrist.
This could spell trouble. He didn't know how territorial other boils could get, and if Christof decided to get a tad violent in his challenge, then there was no one around to stop him. It was now that Calder noticed the lack of a master or mistress as a ā gasp ā bad thing, and he was put on edge because of it. Having nearly had his head torn off by the boil before, he knew the degree that the Igor could go too.
He let out an uneasy laugh and stepped between the pair, not breaking Christof and Yaya's little moment, but standing between her boil and Christof as a buffer. "Well let us hope that this isn't something we have to do each day. We wouldnāt be much of a music class if we all lost our fingers." Calder gave a look to Christof that both asked 'what he was doing' and 'he had better watch himself' and glanced at the boil beside Yaya to tell him why.
"Soooo, I never met you before." He turned to Sharra and smiled up to him, hoping to both distract him and get to know this boil better. He was awfully close to Yaya. He wondered why the ghoul never mentioned a boil in her life. Then again, she was usually yelling at Calder to not drown someone to bring up matters of romance. "Aā¦friend of Yaya's?" He said, wondering if it was just that or if they would actually fess up.

Barth couldn't play any instruments, unless you counted Guitar Villain. He could sing, often sarcastically, but avoided the strenuous practice schedules of the Glee Club.
He failed to draw any significant conclusions from the copious amounts of blood already on the music stand, stocking it up to decorum. It was no wonder that after he signed his name under Christof's, the machine wrangled a growled "Ackrrggg!" from him. After the stand finished gnawing, he slowly pulled his claws back to the safety of his chest.
This class wasn't supposed to be painful. ...Was it?
His name glared back up at him from the sign-up sheet. He was more than reluctant to try taking it back off again.
Christof was, he now noticed, getting medical administrations from Yaya. Ah, that reminded him. He should probably talk to his Vice President - he remembered the other boil next to her from N.A.P. sign-ups. ...And the other guy from his window.
"Hello Christof, Yaya. Err, Calder. And Sharra, was it?" He sucked absently on one of his claws. "Fitness club's challenged us to some sort of paint fight. ...Additionally, do you know if there's going to be any more biting involved with this class?"

Rosc slowed to a stop several feet from the door. Sin passed him, which was at least one reason to slow his pace to tilt his head slightly so that he could keep an "eye" on her. But that wasn't why he had stopped. All he'd managed to do in his strides towards the classroom portal was fumble with the bandage instead of actually putting it on. Even when you're used to dressing oneself, it never got easy with one's off-hand, even less so when one is doing something else. And while he was glad he wasn't left-handed because it would have made playing almost impossible, it didn't make him feel any better that he was having a hard time wrapping his hand up.
So, teeth still half-bared in frustration, he stopped and wrapped the strip around his right hand, leaving fingers and thumb free and keeping it not too loose, not too tight. Trapping the end of the cloth between his thumb and the side of his palm, he took a roll of tape from the same pocket, used his left hand and the index and middle fingers on his right to tear off a strip, then taped the bandage down as best he could.
He was glad he'd left Ripley to play with the new kitten today. She always freaked out when he yelled and the last thing he needed was for her to get spooked and try to bite whomever had upset her master.

The only two people that Bul immediately recognized where Hadiyya and Tahki, and he really only recognized Yaya from her groanspring picture. Some of the other faces looked familiar, but it was only by small pictures on the socializing website. "Hey it's the water girl," Bul smiled toothily to Yaya and walked over with his hands in his pockets. "Looks like that stand is getting a kick out of snapping at everyone," he chuckled and peered over to the Igor. "Man I'd be glad to be able to just sew an appendage back on. Come to think of it, I don't think I'd grow back my tail should something ever happen to it, heh." After stating the obvious and making light of a still painful experience, he placed his rather tall self wherever he might be useful but also out of the way. These guys all knew each other better than he did and with all the strange talents and creatures in the school it was a hard call on whether or not he would just step on toes.
As the class filled Unstabul felt a little unsettled- having had a slow start to the year it was hard to tell which students were really experienced with their classes thus far or not. Smiling to himself he felt proud to have actually gotten up out of bed that day and signed up. Otherwise, he would be waiting in his room for each of these boils and ghouls to sign on groanspring and d**k around.

Sin would have walked right over to her friend Alcyone, but instead she gave the other ghoul a wave and then turned back towards Rosc. She walked over and looked at his hand raising a brow. "That looks pretty nasty, did that music stand actually bite you?" It was hard to believe something that dangerous was being left out, then again nothing at Amityville should have surprised her by now. She was wondering if Rosc planned to leave, maybe go see nurse cricket about his hand?
"So you're not staying for the class?" She asked curiously and casually cocked her hip resting a hand on it and tossing her hair back. Hmm...why did she even care is Rosc stayed or went anyway? Maybe because he looked like a grumpy wounded puppy...he certainly didn't seem to take being bitten very well, then again who would? "Well...if your hands that bad you should go see Nurse Cricket, otherwise I don't think you'll really be excused for ditching class before it's even begun." She turned ready to go and talk to her friend.

It was with conflicting emotions that he was glad to see Barth of all people walk into the music room. Good. It meant that, if worst came to worst and a fight against boils broke out, he wasn't going to play referee. If it wasn't clearly evident when he went up against Christof, he wasn't much of a fighter. Not in this form at least. Looking over, he watched as the master claimed a spot on the other side of Christof, nursing his own claw but not missing a digit. At the mention of biting, Calder grinned. He leaned down, cupping his hand around the Igor's ear and whispered to him. Yes, it was incredibly ghouly, but he didn't seem to notice.
"What do ya say, Christof? Care to give the ghoul a little nibble with your new mouth?" He whispered in the Igor's ear, pulling away and taking a step before the boil could throw a punch. Okay, maybe having a master around have a lot more advantages simply because the boil couldn't loose his temper when he was supervised. Snickering, he looked back at Barth. "Ugh. I've seen Riley's ugly posters in the hallway. What's paintball?" He never heard of it, but seeing as in involved paint, he was worried they'd be racing to paint a fenceā¦.or a ball. Didn't sound too exciting.

One blond eyebrow rose sharply when Sin came over and, frankly, started asking stupid questions. "No, I did this to myself," Rosc snapped before he could reign his temper in and he immediately regretted saying it. His posture and expression softened a bit and he shoved his injured hand into his pocket. Oh, it would be fine, he didn't have to go to the nurse's office to get it looked at, it just hurt.
"I don't even know why I came. I don't play traditionally and this is an intro class," he added, his tone more restrained this time. He knew why he had come. He thought maybe he'd be able to learn more than what he knew. New techniques, new styles... whatever. It could help him learn about his classmates as well, what they could play, who were skilled, who were musically challenged. But he hadn't decided if the likelihood of having to read music outweighed that, and getting bitten by a music stand within the first five minutes of walking into the classroom seemed like a foreshadow.
He let his eyebrow rise again. "Concerned? It hurts, but I'll live without visiting the nurse."

Sin wasn't used to having anyone snap back at her, especially not in a rare moment of compassion. Her eyes narrowed and she huffed her posture slowly tensing. "Well I don't know maybe your just naturally clumsy, some people are just klutzes." She could sense as soon as the words had left her mouth that confrontation was probably not the best option. Still it was too late to take it back now, a lesson she seemed to have to learn more then once.
"It's always good to review the basics." She said cooly and then shrugged one slender shoulder. "Especially if you don't play traditionally, maybe you can learn something. Glad to see you'll live it's hardly a concern of mine, but I suppose I was struck by a moment of worry considering most of my classmates are having such trouble with that stupid stand." She'd had about enough of Rosc for the moment, geeze he was always so grumpy. She turned and strode towards Alcyone smiling and relaxing a bit more when she noticed other familiar faces like Junko, Gabrian, and Christof. Aww it looked like the stand had caught him pretty badly too...she wrinkled her nose a bit in distaste at the blood splatter sign in sheet. Hopefully the professor would arrive before that thing took a chunk out of some other poor soul.

Music was something Ziyah had figured out that she greatly enjoyed - though she didn't have the faintest idea if she'd ever played an instrument before, or if she would be any good at it. There were still many things the glowing wisp did not yet know about herself, and so it was curiosity that brought her to this class.
She signed her name, but she didn't expect the stand to actually bite her. "HEY ! Stop that !" A tap on top was enough to make the stand release her fingers, the ectoplasm quickly closing the holes that had been made into her fingers. Ow !
...Come to think of it, that made a good prank ! Filled out for later. Still, the white-haired girl shot the stand a glare before heading toward the rest of the students. There were a few faces she had seen in the halls or in human history class, but no one truly familiar. "Hello !" She called out, to anyone willing to talk to her.
Really, she was getting a little sick of knowing nearly no one !
