"Mars it is then," Shaezelle said cheerfully. "It's very nice to meet you!" At his question, she glanced back at the doll she carried with her tail. "I found it, and have been looking for the human girl who left her on the street. I felt bad, the little girl must miss her..." Shaezelle sight at her own failure. "As you can see, I've had no luck. I didn't want to just leave it, though, so I decided to bring it with me. Perhaps I'll return it another day."
She smiled lightly at the end of her story, glancing at Mars and watching him watch his surroundings. Not that she blamed him. Her own reactions upon first entering the city, following Vogue around with a constantly astounded look on her face.
"So how did you stumble upon Metropolis?" She asked, curious about this interesting fox.

"Yea, but I happen to like to keep this stuff around," Lin laughed. "And I'm too stubborn for stupid humans." She rolled back onto her paws as mroe foxes came in. But before she started dealing with the injured male...
The green vixen bent down to investigate the bottle. "Nope, we don't want that stuff," she declared. "I've only ever seen humans get that in really rare isntances, so it's pretty powerful stuff. Killed every rat I've ever given it to." She gave the new male a friendly enough smile (As friendly as she ever was, anyway), then picked up the bottle and put it on the shelf reserved solely for things not to use. It helped to keep a stock of dangerous pills to compare their other ones too.
Done with that, she turned to the male Runaiu claimed was hurt.
"Sure you are," Lin said dryly as she padded towards him. "Sit down and hush up before I give you something that knocks you out cold for four hours so I don't have to hear you while I'm working." She could handle a lot of personalities, but the 'macho' males who whined and griped if anyone ever tried to help them drove her bonkers.

Why do you want to join: Living in the forest? Puh-lease! Sure it's nice to kick back and watch the birds every once in awhile, but how boring would it be to make that your life? There's so much more going on in the city, not to mention all those awesome theaters I can sneak into so I can broaden my acting skills.

Why do you want to join: Cree is not fond of the forest. She doesn't like having to go out and hunt, and it's not exactly ideal when it comes to her paintings. Not only that, but she truly loves the city. Though not fond of interaction in general, she loves the business of the humans, their cars, and the foxes of the Phoenix Tribe.

 Erika hummed lightly under her breath as she trotted down the street. The city was amazing! She hadn't been here all that long, and already she'd spotting at least half a dozen theaters. Give her a week and you can get she'd find ways to sneak into all those theaters too. There was nothing Erika loved more than a well-preformed play, and sadly those were always sorely lacking in the places she'd come from. Well, hopefully this city would live up to her expectations!
She'd heard there was a tribe around this place, but Erika was always vague when it came to recalling gossip and thus far she hadn't seen proof that anyone was here. Shoot, in a city this big she could probably go months without seeing a tribe, unless they had tens of dozens of members! Ah well, no skin of her nose.
She hesistated in the alleyway next to one of the theaters she'd been eyeing. It would get late eventually so she should really find a place to bed down for the night. Or, she could try to find a way to get into at least one theater now.... Geez, this was gonna be a tough decision!

Kiroko was amused by the way in which Tweak had waltzed in and began talking business. He had completely skipped the "Can I join" part and went straight to "This is the position I'm going after" part. It took Kiroko all of two seconds to decide that he would entertain the lighter males request, even if he was a bit odd with his twitching.
Once Lin was finished examining and storing the bottle that Tweak had brought in, Kiroko decided he would introduce their newest member to the rest of the tribe. "Well Tweak," Kiroko said giving him an amused look, "Welcome to the Phoenix Tribe. Please, call me Kiroko for now instead of Elder." The green male smiled before nodding his head in the direction of Lin who was now working on the other new male. "That's Lin, as you probably already guessed or heard, she's our Shaman. You'll be working under her for awhile." Kiroko turned and nodded to Runaiu. "Over there is Runaiu, the tribes main hunter. The rest of the tribe should be returning shortly, you'll see them as they come in. But for now, make yourself at home and claim a spot."
Speaking of the rest of the tribe returning, Kiroko had just finished his last sentence when he heard familiar voices enter the base. Kiroko smiled and nodded as Mira and Charis entered, both baring food.
"Welcome back Mira, Charis." He nodded to each of them in turn. "I see you both had some luck with obtaining food. Good job you two."
Marshall raised an eyebrow at the vixen he was following. "How do you know the human lost it and didn't just throw it away? They do tend to throw away things for no reason." Human's made no sense sometimes. Marshall had seen humans throw away all kinds of cool stuff and he never understood why. Honestly, he didn't really care to understand, it always meant more stuff for him.
"Well, I've been wondering from town to town just looking for a cool place to settle down in. The other cities I've lived in are nothing compared to this place." He took another moment to stare in awe at the building and shops around them. There were so many colors, so many sounds. Yep, Marshall couldn't see himself ever getting tired of this place.

"Thank you, El- -ear- Kiroko." Tweak dipped his head in respect. Formalities, gotta love 'em! Naturally Tweak had never joined a tribe before, and few foxes stuck around long enough to really talk to so he was never told just how to go about doing so other than showing up. He was quite pleased that his 'I come bearing gifts' idea worked, he didn't even have to ask! Welcome to the Phoenix Tribe... he was in. He, Tweak, was a part of a tribe. And studying under a Shaman, no less!
In turn, he had nodded to each fox introduced, trying hard to keep the twitching to a minimum. Then he looked around, taking in the large, abandoned warehouse that was now his home... Tweak decided not to waste time, he'd consult Lin about where to put the other such things and about which shelf held what, then he'd... Well, he wasn't sure what to do after that. Whatever the tribe needed him to do!

Charis nodded his head and headed more into the light. He placed his satchel by an old wooden crate. He opened it up and started to place the food on the crate. He had to unwrap some of the parcels with was difficult with his large paws. “Human seem to like giving me food if I’m patient enough.” He smiled a bit to himself. He had never thought of himself as an oddity, but if the humans were willing to give him more food and special treatment due to his size and wings. He was going to use it for his benefit.

Mira followed Charis to drop off the little bit of food. "Need some help?" As she slipped the links from around her neck. Turning to look at who else was back, the vixen nodded to the new comers.
She smiled as she watched a new male that had a slight twitch going on and Lin seemed to have to someone to work on. A small sigh escaped her, "Anything else I can do, Kiroko?"

Vogue sauntered in to the center of the group of modis, carrying her collected targets: goggles on her head, headphones about her neck, and fuzzy pink handcuffs hooked to her tail.
"Hello, Kiroko," she purred, harmlessly flirting with her Elder--she barely had any interest in dogfoxes, but it was always fun to play every now and then.
She removed the goggles and headphones, an in a deft move (which had taken her hours of practice for only a few seconds' payoff, but had been ever so worth it), took the key she had been carrying in her mouth and unlocked the handcuffs from her tail, and placed all the items at his feet.
"I've brought you back just some small things from the city."

Kiroko nodded to Tweak as he scurried off to help Lin. Then he turned to Mira and smiled at her. "That's all I require you to do for the tribe. Why don't you relax and have some fun?" Everyone seemed to be working. They all needed to kick back and have some fun!
He counted the members of his tribe and realized two of them were still missing. Vogue and Sheazelle. Oh noez! They were probably eaten by humans! Oh, no wait, there's that skank Vogue. Kiroko looked over the objects she had placed in front of him. Of course she'd bring back handcuffs. And the fuzzy kind? Really? Why did girls see it fit to dress up a perfectly good.... He stopped that thought and shook his head to clear his thoughts.
"Nice." He said smiling at her. "I'm sure some of these," His eyes glanced to the handcuffs. "will be put to good use some day."

Vogue eyed him back, a light grin fluttering over her lips. "I'm sure they will be," she agreed with a wink, and then, with a flick of her tail, she was off, leaving him to think all about the handcuffs' uses.

Considering his statement, Shaezelle walked on for a few moments in silence before finally giving up and, shrugging, said, "I suppose I hadn't thought of that. I guess I could just... keep it. Or give it to the next human girl that wants it." Truthfully, in the few hours she had spent toting the doll around, Shaezelle had grown quite fond of the thing. Odd, as all the thing had been doing this entire time was hanging limply from either her mouth or tail. Who knew that was the way to bond? Certainly not Shaezelle.
Bringing herself out of her own thoughts, she began to pay attention to what Mars was saying as he answered her question. Heh, wouldn't that be rude? Asking a question and not caring for enough to hear the answer. Shaezelle would never act so cruelly! As he was saying... She now, finally tuned back into what he was saying.
"Interesting..." Way to go, Shaezelle. Heartfelt response, that one was. "I mean to say, Metropolis is the only city I've ever been in, but I'm sure nothing could compare. I love the place too much!" As she spoke, the tribe's "HQ" of sorts finally came into view. "Oh look, we've reached home already!"

"Home?" Mars looked up to see the Phoenix Tribe home base and became a little excited. The smell of new foxes filled the air and be began walking faster, anxious to meet them all. Like for realz.
Mars ran ahead of Shaezelle and jumped in from the lower window. He landed inside on a fluffy pillow or something. There were many foxes inside and Mars suddenly felt awkward. Like for realz.
"So... Shaezelle, wanna introduce me to anyway?" Mars asked when Shaezelle came in. He was hoping she would because he felt really awkward just jumping in there like that. Like for realz.
And then he went and did that thing he does to something to make this post look longer than three one liners because that isn't good and this post should be filled with more than that because it should. Yeah. Mars totally did that. Like a boss.

Shaezelle laughed as she saw Mars bound into the warehouse ahead of her and jump in through a window. She followed him in through said window, and watched, impressed, as he did something or other like a boss. She was a little entranced by it, honestly.
Eventually Shaezelle caught herself and nodded in response to his question. "Sure, I'd love to introduce you to some... Like over there." She nodded towards Kiroko and Vogue, then began to walk towards them. "That's Kiroko, future elder of the tribe, and Vogue is another member."
They approached the two foxes in question and nodded towards both. "Kiroko, Vogue, this is Mars. I met him on my way back here."
