Josephine giggled, looking back at William, "Well, I never imagined myself being called 'Milady', but I like it!" she whispered to him, then turned to Melody, "Now then, young Melody. Art thou loyal to thy king and queen? If thou answer yes, will thou help thee for thy kingdom?" she asked, raising her finger in the air and wiggling it around as she spoke, trying to make herself look a tad bit more intellectual, but failing miserably and only making herself look silly, but in all actuality, she was being completely serious, unusual for jesters, especially this one in particular.

Quentin shook his head releasing a half-chuckle of slight embaraessment. "Oh please no apologizes madam, it was I that interrupted your thoughts with my enthusiasum." He bowed back to her and flipped back to being interested in her occupation. His face seemed to glow with wonder as she spoke. "Oh, yes wonderful observation." he beamed and produced a yellow rose from behind her ear and handed it towards her for her to take if she wished. A yellow flower normally signified joy and friendship. "I must ask though, is being a noble knight as challenging as it sounds?" he asked

"Oh my." she gasped quietly when he handed her the flower, smirking as he spoke, "Indeed, being a knight for the king is a job only for the hard working and strong, but whenever it does get difficult, that's the fun part. The moment you get the upperhand and the fight between you and your opponent is near it's end, you can't help but smirk and end it there. The joyous feeling you get when you've defeated yet another person- er rather creature in this case- for the king, it's just overwhelming and glorious." she said, speaking with both her voice and her body, having forgotten that she was speaking to someone as she described the feeling of battle for herself, she was acting out an imaginary battle between herself and an imaginary 'Creature of the Darkness'.

Melody nodded enthusiastically. "Yes mai'm!" She smiled. Anything for the king, the queen, and her idol! "If I must eat a poisonous snake alive, then let it be." She gleamed.
