Nanashi chuckled, "Minx...." He winked at her, then flapped his wings and stood up on his hind legs to appear bigger to the deer which only further caused it to panic. After it scurried off in the opposite direction in a frenzy, he launched himself into the air and followed it with fluid grace, appearing to swim through the sky. After minutes, he made a dive toward the ground and sunk his teeth into the neck of the deer, taking it to the ground and snapping it's neck so it didn't suffer.

He smiled as he watched Ash move toward the deer. He had to admit from behind she was vary attractive. Once the deer was scared enough and headed their way he turned to the side and waited. Once Nanashi sent the dear running, rather then take the easy way out and fly he figured he would show off his speed and muscle.
"Tech..." he smirked as he took off after one of the deer on foot. He ran hard and fast catching up with the frightened animal. He jumped onto a log alongside the deer until he was next to it and jumped tackling it to the ground where he made his kill.

To say Ash wasn't impressed with both the boys would have been a solid lie. She noticed how Nanashi killed the deer in a way that saved it from pain while Jake tackled his deer. She glanced over at a deer that hadn't gotten away quick enough, tail whipping out to trip the deer. However, both boys had caught enough kill for the three of them, and so, she released the deer, allowing it to run off before turning to the boys, yawning widely.
'Good job!" She chirped, moving closer to the boys, mint-colored tail curling under her front paw. Well, they were good hunters, that was for sure. "Do you often hunt together?"

Nanashi bowed his head to the deer, and mumbled a soft prayer for the Deities to take the soul of the creature. "Thank you for your sacrifice." The teal colored male opened his eyes and looked back to see how the others had fared, "Two deer? That should be enough to feed the lot of us." He smiled at Ash, then looked at Jake and nodded in appreciation. "Who us? No this is the first time that we have ever hunted together. Why do you ask?"

Jake smiled as he sat by his kill. He was happy that he managed to catch one with out screwing up. he thought for sure he was going to mess up somehow in front of the beautiful female. He licked his paws cleaning them as he watched Ash let her deer go. The animal seemed quite happy to get away from the three phims and he didn't blame it... though it was probably wondering why she let him go. Jake understood, considering they had already killed two deer and it would be a waste to kill a third. That would just mean scavengers would show up... and he didn't really like scavengers. Especially the vultures. Those birds he detested the most and they annoyed him.
"No... we've never really hunted together..." He comically glare at Nanashi. He had never heard him spout such a prayer before. He was sure he was doing it to empress Ash. "He gets rather territorial when it comes to hunting." He glanced away. "Not that I blame him. Its hard to hunt in the same area with another phim... mostly if they are male. I've met many who try to keep the herd to themselves. As if they can take down the whole herd."

Ash tilted her head at the prayer, raising an eyebrow. He was a tribe man? Her eyes flicked between the two, sending a small smile when Jake spoke. Carefully, she noticed Jake's comical glare, head tilting so that her hair fell into her face.
"You two seem close, and work well together, I was just wondering if you also hunted together." She said, tail wagging slightly. It was nice to be with two 'Phims, it had made hunting easy and simple, and fun even. Though.... she hadn't caught anything or helped much. Her ears fell down, looking down at the ground.
"Well, I'm sorry I couldn't help much. You two should eat first since I didn't assist much."

Nanashi looked over at the female and offered her a smile, "No I insist that you eat first maiden." He bowed her head to Ash. "Your presence was enough to inspire us to be great hunters. It is not everyday that we get to hunt for a lovely vixen such as yourself." He smiled cheekily, then flashed Jake a fake smile. "I am sorry.....was that glare aimed at me?" He cocked his head to the side.
He thought it was amusing that Jake liked this vixen so much that he was shooting him nasty glares for flirting with her shamelessly.

He nodded in agrement with Nanashi for once.
"Yeah... you should eat first." He smiled. "We were happy to hunt for you. You so you should eat first. Im sure your hungry... and you need your strength." He then tensed up at Nanashis words and he turned the comically glare back at him. "So what if it was?"

She blinked at the 'Phim's bickering, smiling softly as she ripped off a chunk, and ate it as they seemed to glare at one another. Brothers, they seemed like brothers! Of course, they weren't, but it amused her. When she was done, and her stomach full, she stopped the small glaring game by licking first Jake, then Nanashi's cheek, nudging the kill to them.
"Thank you, but I'm done now. While you eat, I will go find berries!" With a cheerful flick of her head so her hair fell over her shoulder, she slipped off to find said berries, hoping the males would get along when she came back.
Out of both of them... did she like one of them? The answer was yes, she did. She liked one of them a lot. She liked both of them, but one was in that way that made your stomach flutter. Though, the mind 'Phim was not going to tell just yet. She didn't want to lose the other boy, so, instead she busied herself with spending time with the silly males.

Nanashi grinned as his cheek was licked then he looked over at Jake and the goofy expression on his face. He knew that his friend really liked her, and he thought they would be a cute couple together. But in his heart he still liked Ash. So he wasn't going to give up just yet, but neither would he be upset if Ash chose Jake over him. Afterall all was fair in love and war.
"Go ahead and eat Jake."

Jake of course completely stopped talking when Ash licked his cheek. He couldn't help the blush that moved across his cheeks. It was like he had just stopped all together. The look on his face was one of shock that soon turned into a goofy smile. She had kissed him! It was the first kiss he had ever gotten from a female and it was Ash who had done it! He could feel his stomach doing a back flip.
"Ok..." Was his response to Ash going to get berries. Of course it was in a low and dreamy tone when he had said it. He then looked up at Nanashi and blushed when he gave him a funny look. "What?" He quickly looked away.

She had headed off, finding berry bushes after berry bushes to scoop into the curve of her wings, not really minding if they got dirty because of it. Both boys were really sweet, but she did like one already~ However, here was the problem for Ash. She had never really thought of herself until now, her thoughts always for Glacie, her best friend, or Spencer, her other good friend. Now she had the chance for her own life and it was a little strange, focusing on her own desires and needs.
She returned with the bundle, grinning at the boys and plopping down the berries before them, grin on her face.
"Dessert~"

Nanashi shook his head, "Nothing...I was just telling you that you could go ahead and eat first. My stomach can manage to wait for a little while." He chuckled softly to himself. Jake really did love Ash, he might not realize it yet and think it was just a crush, but the love was very clear on his face. Nanashi sighed, looking down at the ground.
Ash was going to have to choose soon, and he was afraid of the answer.
"Oooo desert." He grinned, putting on a brave face, "It looks delicious."

"Oh..." He looked down at the meal they had managed to get. "Right... well if your not going to eat first fine..." He walked up to one of the deer. "I will gladly eat." he was starving. He dug into the deer and began to eat. He only stopped when Ash had come back. "Mm..." He looked over at the berries and smiled. "Alright... those look great." he smiled. "I cant wait to eat them." Of course he had to finish with his meal first.

Her tail wagged side to side as they ate, pleased to not only serve them, but be of use. Flopping down onto her stomach, she spread her large wings, letting them fan out. Happily, the vixen warmly smiled at the two boys and flicked a strand of hair from near her red eyes.
"I'm glad you two are happy." She sang out, tail wrapping around herself as the boys ate.
In the back of her mind, she knew she'd have to admit who she liked, and she dreaded it. What if the other would no longer be her friend? Her eyes lowered to the ground, ears flopping against the skull of her head.
