Reglare Excile Misa Catailia I just gotta say this: Suicide is humans way of saying "You cant fire me, I ******** quit!" to god. 3nodding And burn down in eternal suffering and other stuff because they can't find another job? Well, it isn't the boss's fault that you quitted. He could have fired you anytime, yes, but at least when he fired you you may have some insurance somehow, unlike when you quitted.

Foam-Dome I don't see why we shouldn't say some of those things. I've said a lot of those to plenty of other suicidal people, and in doing so, I've succeeded in discouraging them from committing suicide. I can't exactly defend my reasoning without this discussion devolving into a full-blown debate, so I guess I'll leave it at that.
If you know the person well enough to know that they could be reasoned out of it through logic, sure, go for it. But that doesn't mean it's going to work on everyone xp

My ex-girlfriend had dreams of killin' herself, meh, at the time i didn't believe it, but now, I believe her dream is a prediction of the future.. I hope its not true though, she'll find another man and be good-good.

You definitely didn't discourage me from committing suicide.

For some, if not most, it will just make things worse. I can't defend that either, because I'm just not good at it, so I'll shut up too. But just so you know, saying any of those things to me would make me very upset.

Yeah, that's true. You can't really understand it that well unless you've felt it yourself.

To be honest I really wasen't trying hard enough to stop you. It's nothing personal, and don't take it the wrong way, but I don't know you, I don't care if you kill your self or not. (yet?) I brought my tough love because you seemed to ignore(for lack of a better term) other peoples nice responses to your post. Not trying to start drama or anything, just being honest/serious. This is the serious dub forum after all. So don't take it the wrong way. That being said, I suppose it won't work on strangers, especially online ones.
