If they had broken bones, how could it even be considered chemical death for the birds? Might be different for the fish of course, but I don't know too much about the fish. If the poles had 'shifted' in such a dramatic way, why would it cause broken bones? Not to mention they don't do it so suddenly like that to cause a massacre, and yes, our electronics (Or their electronics) would not be working.

Oh, yeah, you're right. I didn't think about that. hm. Will this and other anomalies in our every day life (such as that rocket in the sky in CA an other places) ever be explained, really? Who knows how much more history may be hidden to us.

Why is everything a freaken conspiracy nowadays? What happened to the good ol' fashioned researching and finding proof before you label? XD
Anyway, I think it may be a toxic such as the Gulf. Too many dangers in that water for it to not be poisonous or bad to something's health.
That or they are all signs of the apocalypse. Regardless, we're screwed.

And a lot of the time the US government tries to play it off as 'nothing' and expects the population to take their word for it. It's kind of sad, really. Why would you believe it's 'nothing' without enough proof to say?

Captain_Shinzo Obscurus @Sai Kaitou: I really have no idea what could be causing it. I think some possibilities are more likely than others but I think that everyone involved in investigating this is about ready to just sweep it under the rug. @Captain Shinzo: Would you care to divulge any specifics on your corn pesticide theory? Specific corn types or pesticides, etc.? Well, it is known that throughout those areas, there are large farms of all varieties every which way. People call it the corn crop theory since that's the crops closest. With new years ending, the weather got cold extremely fast. Anyway, the random weather changing was hard for everyone to decide what to do. Usually, the farmers put in new chemicals and pesticides, even test out pesticides. What farmers didn't count on was the animals getting out and about kinda early. When animals start getting into newly sprayed food, it can get bad. Birds wont even realize it until it kicks in later. Then BAM, out cold and for good. That's if the birds all gathered around and fed, then left together too. It makes sense considering the season is changing, so birds are flying together lately. But the pesticides could easily effect other animals, seeping into their habitat and effecting the nearby food. Although, that's just an idea. Other theories would be fireworks. We were shooting off fireworks for a couple days and animals being out would explain that. Doesn't explain the fish, however. My greatest guess would either be the first or or the possible methane deposits around there lately. Methane can really screw with birds and fish, even bees and bats. This would probably be the most possible idea. Things may be done differently further south, but where I'm from the fields are barren right now. Planting (and thus spraying and fertilizing) won't begin for a few more months.

This whole situation would be like the equivalent to a canary in a coal mine. We really need to figure this out. And unless we have actual private investigators and real scientist I doubt we will truely know. Our government scientist aren't that stupid they could figure out what's killing them quite quickly. They probably already know what it is...

Indeed, but there is always a chance that the government doesn't know either and doesn't want to lose their control with us going into panic.

You gotta keep beating the bush until you either catch the pest.

The weather can vary a lot deep south. Some days, it's 20 degrees out. Sometimes, the day after that, it's 60 degrees. Then it drops to 20 the next day again. It really depends on where you are. Not to mention
