"Famished," she murmured looking up at him. She appreciated his help and all the kindness he had shown her, but she had to wonder, what were his reasons. The night before and the acquisition of the healer, that she could chalk up to civic duty. She was in terrible shape, and any decent person would have done the same. She was going to be fine though. He could very well leave now.

"Would you rather for me to stay here, or go find you some food?" he looked back out over the feild. He would have to move her the moment she was able to travel. It simply wasn't safe enough.

She studied him for a long moment before clearing her throat and giving him an even look. He didn't need to know that she wanted him there. She didn't want to be left alone.
"You don't have to stay. You can leave you know."

"Don't be absurd," he said, voice making it clear that leaving right now wasn't an option and she should just answer his question already.
He looked up into the trees. There was a bird who'd been hovering around a lot. Perhaps it had a nest nearby...

"Well, it is true." She sighed and set her head back down. She really wished she could get up.
"I would like some food."
The crow peered back down at the red-coloured Angeni. He was just a lone bird. How much trouble could he cause? Oh right. He could tell Anzu where they were hiding out.

Dante forgot the bird for the time being and nodded once to the grey mare before leaving again. He'd be sure to be quick. Safe now may not be safe later.

Ravyn sighed. Maybe she could drift off to sleep and take a nap or something. She didn't have much else to do.
The crow considered for a moment. Should he watch the cave? Or should he follow the Angeni? He decided to stay at the cave. It would be less suspicious, and he had a feeling the stallion was coming back.

Dante retraced his stepps to the last place he'd remembered having food. In this case, it was an apple tree. He collected up as many as he could as fast as he could before turning to head back to the cave.

Ravyn was, of course, still inside. She hadn't been able to fall asleep, so to pass the time, she was singing quietly to herself. She intended to stop as soon as Dante returned.

Dante made no effort to hide his arrival. It was hard carrying more then two apples at a time and when he reached the entrance of the cave he was happy to drop them all over. He'd heard her singing, but there was nothing about this that struck him as unusual or noteworthy.
"Ravyn? You're awake?"

She stopped her song and called out to him. "Yes, I am. I couldn't sleep." She didn't want to sleep anyway. She just wanted to get up and walk around.
"Did the healer say when I should be feeling up to walking?"

"All he said on the matter was not to force yourself if you felt you couldn't," Dante wasn't sure they would be able to follow up on that advice. "He did, however, leave some herbs he claimed would help with sleep... and pain. If you require them."

She sighed. She didn't want to sleep. She didn't want to sleep at all. She'd had enough of it. Finally she just nodded and gave him a small smile.
"Food then?"

He nodded and bent to nudge an apple toward her.
"If you get tired of those I also spotted some squash..."

"Apples are just fine," she murmured. She thanked him and then took a bite out of the apple, pleased with its crunchiness. She was hungry, and this was perfect.
