Cudboy It's sad to say that whenever I wax lyrical about something as fundementally important as honour, most people's eyes glaze over as their countenance takes on a representative expression of "WTF?!" sad And yet, if you ask me, the best Transformers scenarios are the ones that don't feature a clear-cut delineation between good and evil - ambiguity of agenda leads to greater conflict, dramatically speaking. Politics can be particularly clandestine in nature; a soldier at least follows his orders, whether for better or worse, but a self-serving politician...? And it's true; cowards bare arms, while heroes rely on wit. 3nodding Who will win? Father Time will ultimately be the judge, I guess, as Fate plays her final hand. Are the meek truly capable of inheriting the world? Debate is the purist battlefield known to man, so such a shame it is that this concourse is so rarely turned to; so much easier is it to pull a trigger than to contemplate one's own opinion (or that of another). And as I always love to remind people, "no-one wins a war... somebody loses". neutral You talking about Father Time reminded me of a riddle from the animate movie, "The Hobbit."
This thing, all things it devours Birds, beast, tress and flowers. Bites iron, nalls steal Grin hard stone to mill. Slays kings, ruins towns Bring high mountain down.

GAH! It was a book some 40 years before it was a movie!
As far as conflict goes...well, I do not believe conflict itself is inherently bad, nor is it inherently good. It can certainly be productive - a conflict of opinions can lead to better understanding for both parties. On the other hand, a conflict escalated into war can be a very bad thing for all involved. Conflict for conflict's sake, however, is, in my opinion, an unforunate state of affairs.
And I agree with Cudboy, moral ambiguity is far more dramatically compelling. That's what made the Beast era writing so great, even if you don't like how it all turned out in the end.

I loved Beast Wars and my favourite was always terrorsaur-that is until he died in the episode with the quantum wave that turned evryone into transmetals. My favourite Maximal had to be Blackarachnia.

Did you just watch the first season or the all of them? Beast wars, G1, and Armada are my three favorites. It is hard to choose a favorite between them.

Armada? o.o
No offense, but I find it hard to understand how anyone could consider Armada a favorite.
But that's my opinion. I think they ruined what could have been a good storyline plot with the minicons.
Hasbro needs to take some fan input in these shows it keeps belching forth.

Robot Designs were great. That's the only saving grace for the last 4 TF series.

He may have been brutal, but he least had honar and respect of Optimus. Sure they dissagreed on some things but that will always happen.
Even when Dinobot was going to overthrough Megatron, he didn't hide in the shadows about it like the other Preds did.
