"Mmmm..." Kea closed her eyes again and followed her nose. Ripari was right about it being the best tool to find something that you had lost. Eyes could play tricks on you, but the nose was far more reliable. "Heh." She giggled as she bounced off toward the tree that he was hiding in.
It took her a moment but she finally spotted, "Ripari!" She beamed as she ran toward him, then skid to a stop in front of him and nuzzled his neck. "I found you. I actually found you. You were right about that nose trick. It was really helpful, and really fun." Kea said all fast and excited. She couldn't remember a time that she had more fun, and it was all thanks to Ripari.

"You did, you did!" Ripari said cheerfully, bouncing around Kea a couple of times in celebration. "I told you the nose thing worked. It was how I found Kylar each and every time!" The pink male giggled and wagged his tail. "Should we play again, or do you wanna do something else?"

Kea smiled happily, "I didn't think I would actually be able to find you. But I did. This is the most fun I have had in the longest time." Her tail was wagging a mile a minute and she didn't care. "Sure I would love to play again. This or something else I don't care." Kea forced herself to sit down so that her tail would stop acting so crazy.

"Let's play one more time. It's your turn to hide, and remember to tuck in your tail too." Ripari teased, wagging his tail. She was a quick learner and he liked that about her. He also liked that she didn't treat him like an idiot, like many foxes did. "I'll count." He said, turning around and closing his eyes.

She beamed, nodding her head happily. "Okay...I promise that I will do better this time." She blushed as he mentioned her little mishap with the tail incident. That was rather stupid of her, and she felt like a kit for doing it. But eventually when he started to count she bounced off with a giggle and this time decided that she was going to hid her scent by sliding into a small pound then hid behind a moss covered boulder.

"Eight, nine, ten." Ripari finished, turning to look around the clearing. Hmm...Ripari dropped his nose to the ground and followed Kea's scent. It abruptly ended at the pond and he smiled; she was learning quickly. "Good move, Kea."
Snuffling around, he started following the perimeter of the pond. If she had left, he'd be able to pick up her scent, if she was still near the pond, then he'd be able to figure that out cause her scent hadn't left it.

Kea watched him, her face half hidden under the water. it was so thrilling! This children's game they were playing. She honestly didn't know why she hadn't tried it sooner. Maybe it was because everyone saw her as and Elder, an authority figure and therefore couldn't have a more familiar relationship with her. "Mm..." The thought made her a little sad, but then again she had Ripari now. And he certainly didn't see her as an Elder. He saw her as plain Kea, just a vixen with a need for a little fun now and again.
As she watched him circle the pond, she couldn't help but giggle. He was so cute!

Ripari had nearly walked all the way around the pool, almost certain that she hadn't left once she'd entered when he heard a giggle. "Ah ha! You've given yourself away!" He called, spinning and jumping straight into the water. Surfacing, he looked around and spotted Kea's head. Swimming with sure strokes, he made his way to her. "I'm going to get you, Kea."

Ke squealed, "Nuuu!" She quickly turned and tried to escape away from the approaching male. Even though he had found her, if he didn't catch her then he was still technically it, and she was not going to make it easy for him to catch her. She sprinted for the shoreline, but in water that made it difficult because of the friction the water placed back on her body. And since he was stronger then her, he could compensate that friction more effectively and therefore was rapidly gaining on her.

Ripari laughed gaily as he watched Kea half-swim, half-flounder towards the bank. He wasn't going to let her get away, though. Lowering his head, he kicked out stronger than before and picked up speed. Just as she reached the bank, Ripari reached out and took hold of the fluff on her tail.
"Ha! Gotcha!" He said, tugging her back into the water with a splash. He giggled hard, knowing that they both looked like a couple of drowned rats.

The multi colored fox squeaked as she was grabbed from behind by her tail, then laughed as she was pulled into the water with Ripari. In fact she was still laughing when she reemerged from the water, and slopped her wet tail fluff against his face. "That was cheating Ripari." She smiled at him, "Now I look like a drowned rat." She bit her lip to keep from laughing once again, "Come to think of it....so do you." Kea tried to hold back the laughter, but found it was increasingly harder as she continued looking at him.

Ripari grinned unapologetically. "How was that cheating? And you don't look like a rat at all. You look absolutely gorgeous...if a little damp." He chuckled and wagged his tail, splashing water in waves behind him. He started to get out of the water and grinned at Kea, helping her as well. "Still, perhaps we should dry off." He hopped away to a patch of sun just big enough for the two of them.

"Well..." Kea looked at him and laughed, "I guess it wasn't cheating. I was just pouting because you caught me so easily." She allowed him to led her out of the water, then she laid in the sun on the shore and sighed in contentment. "Gorgeous?" Her ears perked up and she looked at him blushing, not that you could really tell with the color of her fur.
"You think that I am....gorgeous?" She gnawed on her lower lip as she tilted her head to the side and looked at him intently.

Ripari chucled. "I know, I was just teasing you." He smiled widely. "Yes, I do. You're very bright and lively, and I like the colors on your coat too." He said with a grin, stretching out along Kea's side.

Kea giggled. She found that she liked very much to be teased by Ripari. It made her younger. Not that she was very old, but for as long as she could remember she had FELT old. Maybe it was the responsibility of the tribe hanging over her, but with Ripari she could forget all of that and just be herself. And that was something she had never had before.
"Thank you..." Her cheeks flushed with color and she looked away shyly as she snuggled into the male. "I think that you are very handsome Ripari....and your so....sweet...and fun....I've never met anyone like you."
