It had certainly been a long time since she had been in skis last. Once in the snow, it had become difficult to lift her legs, so different from the natural way of forward movement that she was so used to.
There was an awkward few moments of off balance waddles and side steps before she was able to work out again the best way to move in such restricting contraptions.

“If you use your stick to push you, it’ll be fairly easy to slide yourself over the snow” Faleen tipped to Nyx, seeing that she was struggling as well.
Demonstrating for her a couple of times as she slid herself forward
“It looks like we’ll be on the bunny hill till we can get the hang of this, it shouldn’t take to long though, and then we could head up to the larger slopes.”
