Lily shook her head as she was led to a bench. "Eamon' was brought in a long time ago when I was at school, but I think the file they had on him said the pushed for jail time, but had to settle for a hefty fine."
When they reached the bench she sat down with a sigh, resting her tired legs, knowing she would be sore, but content with the workout she hsd recieved. At the offer of hot chocolate, she smiled and nodded, "yes please."
She undid her laces and slipped off her boot before hurrying over to her locker and returning with her wallet. She pulled out a five and handed it to Ashley with a smile.
"Will you sit and have a drink with me before I have to go?"

"Tsh..." Was the only answer she gave to Lily's first statement. It was evident that the girl did not think very highly of people who abused animals.
She waited until Lily came back, though when she did, Ashley was doing a few lazy, tiny loops until she saw the redhead come back, where she went back to her original position. "Sure thing ! Be back !"
And then Ashley was gone, zooming through the rink like a little rocket, and it became evident that, somehow, the purple-haired girl had been going easy on Lily.

Lily smiled at Ashley, but it turned into an ackward gape as the girl sped off like a rocket. She breifly wondered if she should try a few speed skating lesson, but doubted she would have time.
She sat waiting patiently waiting for Ashley to bring back the hot chocolate and silently hoping she remember not to bring it back across the ice.

Apparently Lily was in luck, because Ashley did take the long way back, carrying their cocoa like if it was some sort of precious price - handing one cup as well as her change back to the red-haired girl.
"It's a nice day, but I really wish it was a little warmer." She sat beside Lily, careful not to hit anything with the blade of her skates as she warmed the tip of her fingers with her hot drink.

Lily accepted the hot chololate from Ashley with a smile before blowing on it and taking a sip. It was so nice to have hot chocolate after a long skate.
"Yes," she said, "hot chololate definitely makes up for the cold. I am very glad that I came skating today."
She was really glad that the rink sold it. She sat peacefully beside Ashley sipping her drink and enjoying the silence, until her drink was done. She looked to Ashley and grinned. "It was very nice to meet you, but I'm afraid I have a test coming up that needs studying for. I will see you at school, yes. Maybe we can sit together at lunch sometime."

Studying. Maybe she should be doing that, too.

Hahaha naaaaaw.
"Well, wouldn't want to make you fail your test... Here." She fetched a pen and a scrap of paper from the pocket of her coat and jolted a string of numbers down. "Call me anytime you wanna hang out, Lily ! We can come skate again. Or go shopping ! Do you rollerblade ? I could teach you how !"
Certainly there would be no lack of activity if Ashley had any say in it.

Lily laughed lightly, a few hours less studying most certainly wasn't going to make her fail her test or at least she hoped not.
She blinked when she was handed a number and nearly started laughing again as what Ashley had just done was something Lily often did. It made her smile brightly thinking she could definitely get along with the girl who was currently spewing out hang out idea. Wait did she said shopping, Lily grinned brightly at that.
"Shopping, yes definitely," she spouted excited as she got up and went to gather the rest of her things from her locker. "I would love to go shopping and more skating," she said over her shoulder, "though I have never rollerbladed before."
She put away her skates and things before began to pile her winter outers back on getting ready to go back out side. "See you around Ashley," she said picking up her things and headed off phone in her hand as she walked out the door.
As she got in her car she sent a text to Ashley.Quote: Thanks for skating with me. It was fun! Now you have my number too. Lily ♪
