"Twelve... fifteen." Kaida said in shook as she pulled herself backwards and blinked at the mare. It was clear she was well trained, and athough Kaida had put up a good fight.... it had not been good enough. She had lost.
She bowed her head, it seemed she needed to practice more.. yet seeing this mare win gave her hope. She could rise to the top and beat everyone, male or female. She would become champion. "I conceed defeat. Well played Alpha Sengdroma... I mean... Sengdroma." She said with hesitation. It was strange not addressing her as alpha, it was a habit imprinted into her very being from her own herd.... it was considered respectful to address the alpha and her guardian as such. Perhaps that was because of the number of challenges they had to face.
She blushed, it was rare for Kaida to give a compliment but she needed to try; "You are very good."

She laughed and backed up from her challenger. "You are very well trained yourself, Kaida!" she bowed her head, formally ending the spar. "I welcome you to stay with us for a while, train with my protectors and myself if you would like,"
Through out the competition, Sengdroma had been gauging Kaida's personality. She had found no threat and she was an honest soquili, minus the dirty little trick she had pulled! "We welcome you to stay," she bobbed her head with a smile.

"I best not...." she said, hoping the other mare wouldn't be offended by her decline the invitation, "I wouldn't want to impose, and I would very much like to travel a little bit before the the competition and test my skills on those I cross paths with. I appreciate your assistance with that." She said with a nod.
Her eyes looked the lake and she added softly, "May I have a drink before I leave?"

She could understand the desire to want to compete against those that were not trained similiarly.
"May the spirits be with you on your journey, Kaida. Feel free to come back to our lands any time," she bowed her head slightly.
"Feel free to drink and rest, I must be getting back to my herd. I appreciate the exciting afternoon." with another quick bow, Sengdroma turned to make her way back to her family and friends.

"Thank you." Kaida said with a soft nod of appreciation, watching the mare leave before going to the lake to have one last drink.
The land here was really stunning, she wished she could linger a little longer but she needed to fulfil her goal. She smiled... yes, she wanted to be the champion..... no rest for the wicked. After meeting Sengdroma she knew she could do it, mares were just as strong as stallions and she would prove it, work twice as hard as she had been.... a month. She could do it... couldn't she? Faith. That was all she needed. A little faith.
