Really? thought Steve. Well this...was unexpected. First that Greed character with his mini-pet war, and now this dude. Did he have to put down Steve's clothes like that? Sure, they weren't top of the line, but that had never really mattered to Steve. He was never anywhere close to the trends...to much work.

Steve looked at the collection of clothing and accessories around him, then back to the demon before him. Clearly there was going to be no easy way out of this. All he could do was play along and hope for the best.

Jewelry Item: -Abyssimal Chameleons Charm
Steve looked to the jewelry. Thankfully there was less of it than of everything else. A few of the pieces seemed strange, gaudy or just plain cheap. (How was he to know each of them cost more than 6 months worth of allowance?) Steve's eyes finally settled on two items, both charms of some kind. One, however, reminded him of the demon who had set up this little challenge. The Abyssimal Chameleons Charm, the tag said. It wasn't overly gaudy, and could match with most of other items around Steve. A versatile piece, capable of easily matching the latest trends, depending on how you wore it. At least Steve hoped so.

Clothing Item #1: -Unknowable Vest
Steve then moved on to the clothing. Hmm...this was going to be difficult. While Steve knew the defensive value of armor...he wasn't sure if any was actually fashionable right now. Not to mention, it certainly wasn't comfortable, which is why Steve rarely wore it himself. Oh, wait. This is fashion. Comfort means nothing.
Steve sighed as he pulled a dark and unassuming vest off of the rack. Hmm....didn't he overhear some girls talking about vests being sexy? Was that the same as "in"? Steve had no idea. Unknowable Vest, it's tag said. "Well, that certainly fits the situation," Steve chuckled.

Clothing Item #2: -Sinners' Coat of Snakes
Now, what to wear with the vest? Hmmm....Ah! thought Steve, pulling a green coat off of the rack. It was closer to what he thought was a jacket, really, but Steve thought it would go well with the vest he had just picked out. Like the Chameleons Charm, it seemed to Steve to be a timeless piece, fitting into more than era of fashion (as far as he could tell). Also like the charm, it somehow reminded Steve of the demon he was trying to out-dress. That had to be a good thing. If the demon thinks that he is the best dresser...then imitating him had to be a good idea, right?
Steve studied the jacket; he rather liked its shade of green. He held it up next to the vest and nodded in approval.

Accessory #1: -Black Partisan
Well, thought Steve as he looked at the accessories, this is odd. He had not been expecting them to be...well, weapons, shields and musical instruments. It's not like they were easy to carry....Oh, right. Once again. This is fashion. It's not supposed to be easy.
Steve's eyes fell on a sleek black instrument, a Black Partisan. Even Steve could tell it was quality. Well made and gorgeous, it would not stand out from an outfit, nor distract from it. Instead...Steve felt it would add a bit of class and power to an outfit. Perfect.

Accessory #2: -Demonic Spined Lyre
Steve had one more accessory to pick out. Another weapon would just be strange, and the shields were far to...cumbersome, Steve felt. That left the musical instruments. Steve pondered over these. Immovable Pipes...really? Steve was at a loss for words. It wasn't like he played any type of musical instrument, anyway. Hadn't even known what a lyre was until he saw the one before him labeled as such. The lyre did look pretty demonic, though. Steve let his eyes sweep over the instruments again. The lyre seemed to match his outfit best. He was going for demonic, after all, wasn't he?

Steve sighed as he readied himself for critique. This had been kind of fun....in one those "I have no idea what I'm doing" ways. Running his fingers though his hair (he knew that was out of style!) he stepped out for the big reveal.

"Erm, Okay." Steve muttered. This was really weird. He never really cared about clothes. Like, at all. He then quickly dove into the pile of clothes, accessories, jewels, etc. 'Let's get this over with.' he thought to himself.

Jewelry Item:
Steve searched the pile, pulling out accessory after accessory. He then came upon a pair of Green and Brown earrings. By the looks of it, they looked like, insects. More specifically beetles. He looked at the tag, Earrings of the Drunken Insect's Ceremony of Benevolence was written on it. But before taking it, he wondered; How did they manage to put such a big title on such a small tag?

Clothing Item #1:
Quickly putting the jewlery into his pockets, he then started searching for some clothes. 'I wonder what horrors await me.' he thought to himself. But, then again, this Envy guy could probably read minds or something. He was probably just over-reacting, or was he? Anyway, as that thought passed through his mind, his fingers came across a pair of leathery boots. Steve jerked his hands away, thinking of the worst. When he was sure it didn't move, he slowly reached in, took out the thing and saw it was a pair of boots. There was a sticker, with Defenders' Shoes of Water Lance imprinted on it. "Well, it looks nice." he said, putting it aside.

Clothing Item #2:
Steve decided to head to the racks. He passed his fingers through the numerous clothes. He couldn't choose just one! Then, his attention went on a vest. The colour was intriguing, yet he couldn't say what it was neither. He looked at the tag, Unknowable Vest. Happy with it, he took it and shoved it beside the boots.

Accessory #1:
He decided to turn back to the big accessory pile. He noticed that there was a lyre on top of the mountain. He turned to Envy. He saw him screaming in his skellyphone about getting costume made designer made scarves or something. He then climbed up the mountain, reaching for the instrument. He grabbed it, but not without having the consequence of falling down. He quickly glanced towards Envy, still yelling on the phone, but about sunglasses now. Steve glanced at the sticker on the lyre. Demonic Spined Lyre. Well, it had that demon zest, so why not?

Accessory #2:
Then suddenly, the mountain of things started to sway left and right. Until, KABOOM! The whole pile tumbled over Steve, burying him in a grave of diamonds, scarves, belts, and, wait, was that a flower pot? Anyway, a hand reached in and grabbed his arm. 'Oh no, Envy!' he thought to himself. He had no more time, so he randomly took one more accessory. He had just enough time to pull out a small shield with 2 faces on it. He could briefly see the giant sticker with Buckler of Sight and Cowardice on it. He threw the 2 accessories and the earrings into the pile of clothes. "So, what did you pick? I hope it is as fashionable as i am." Envy said, walking to Steve's pile.
