Shane smiled "You're Welcome" he said. "You should." he paused, almost forgetting what he was going to say. "Should, do all three" he finished. Shane's shaking was starting to slow down as his body was getting used to it again. He shivered as she moved closer and played with his hair. It was the closest he's been to a girl in a while. Shane nodded listen to her. Relax, it's not like you're hurting anyone but then reason pops into his mind and argues Except himself. That thought alone was almost enough to make him stop. But his alcoholic habit was slowly regaining the control it had once had over him. Shane almost grinned as she whispered into his ear. He smiled his thanks and took the flask for a longer swig. Shane had finally stopped his shaking. His body was now used the the drink. Shane's eyes went from her hair to her eyes, and then the rested at her lips for a while. He swayed back a bit and brought his eyes back to her hair. What--- what kinda counselor would ya be, if you kissed your teen on the first-- first day here?. Shane asked himself. Of course, his alcoholic side was slowly taking over and he said. "usted tiene los labios muy completo y hermoso" not realizing that she probably didn't know what he just said.

♫Heidi smiled at him as he spoke in Spanish. She thought for a minute as she went back into her memories to remember what she learned in her spanish class from her sophomore year. She took a while to put the words together and finally figure out what he said. She laughed and giggled as her smile only brightened. "Now, I did always love a guy with an accent. And if you think my lips are so amazing then I guess you'll really enjoy this." she said as her hand moved to the collar of his shirt as she pulled him in and kissed his lips passionately. Her one hand stayed in his hair as she enjoyed every second of the kiss. Even though she knew she was drunk, she also knew deep down that she secretly wanted this. But she still wasn't sure if the alcohol was what made her act this way. Right now all she wanted was a little fling, but she knew it would ruin things for him. Why should she care? That's exactly what she wanted, to make his life a living hell.
Yet, she couldn't do that. So she broke the kiss and looked him in the eyes. "Don't worry, I'll keep this a secret too. And if anyone does find out well then you just tell them I kissed you. That way I'll be the one who gets in trouble. I'm used to taking the blame." she said as she still held onto him, keeping his body pressed against hers. She loved this moment right now, but she knew this couldn't last. And she was fine with that. She could always try to get Gail or one of the other counselors. Anyone really. Though she wondered if she would really find someone here.

Shane smiled as she pondered what in the world he just said. "You know Spanish then?" he said. "Well, what I mean--." she cut him off with the kiss. Somewhere deep in his mind Shane knew it was the alcohol that made him smile and kiss her back. Shane left her hand in his hair. He hadn't been this close to a girl in a while. And a girl hadn't kissed him, or shown any affection to him in an even longer period of time. Shane looked at her when she pulled back. "Why?... Why would you do that forme?" he asked, letting her lean on him. Shane wrapped one of his strong, muscular arms around her. are you really enjoying this? Shane asked himself mentally.
Why would she care what happens to me? And why am I still doing this? It could ruin Everything for me. And I wouldn't be allowed to come back here. And my mom would be dissapointed and My dad.... My dad would... Shane didn't finish that thought. He backed away and slid down the trunk of a tree. From the ground he said "m yo no estoy seguro que puede hacerlo" Shane looked up at her. ♫Heidi looked at Shane and kept herself calm. She was used to this sort of thing and she knew how to hide her emotions. She tossed the flask to him and nodded. "Fine. If you don't want me then that's ok. I'm not going to be sober and I'm never going to change. I guess that means this was nothing more than mixed up drunk feelings. Whatever." she said as she ran her fingers through her hair. She simply sighed as she remembered him asking her why she would help him out. She shrugged her shoulders and looked at the ground. "I-I don't know why. I guess it's just because maybe I really don't want to hurt you. I can tell that you really tried hard to get to where you are now. And well I guess I didn't want to ruin that for you. See unlike me, you have a future." she said as she rolled her eyes at the thought.
"Just forget about it ok. As far as you're concerned, none of this ever happened. And you'll go back to being a counselor and I'll go back to being my normal obnoxious rebellious self." she said as she walked away. She wasn't going to change or at least, she knew she didn't want to. Though as she thought about it, she realized that she wasn't really happy with this life of hers. That's really the whole reason she started drinking in the first place. At least things didn't make sense when she was drunk. But now her buzz was fading and she felt horrible.

"You have a future too" he said, but stopped when he realized how cheesy that sounded. He understood. Shane had tried exceedingly hard to get where he was. But that one drink had already ruined it for him. He sighed as he realized he'd have to stop all over again. Shane groaned inwardly. He reached out a hand for her. But she was already too far away. So close. and I blew it. Shane jumped as his phone rang. "Hola?" he answered. Shane almost gasped when he heard his mothers soft voice. "Hola sweetie. How's it going to far? Nate said you met your teen... Heidi right?" Shane swallowed "Yeah, it's Heidi. Look mom, right now isn't a good time... Settling in and all, you know? I'll call you later...... Bye" Shane sighed and closed his phone. By the time he made it back to the open camp. He was completely sober. But already itching for another drink. He groaned at the thought. ((Out Of Cats: ))

♫Heidi had heard what he said about her future and what he said in spanish. She didn't know how to answer that. She didn't know if it was drunk feelings or if there was really something there. And maybe there was or maybe she had feelings for someone else. She couldn't be sure. She stood there in the middle of Camp Sunshine, waiting for him to get there. She saw him talking on the phone and waited for him to hang up before she walked over to him. She swallowed whatever pride she possibly had and ignored the pounding in her head as the hangover was beginning to happen. She looked him in the eyes and crossed her arms. "Look, I just met you. So I don't know if I really do feel anything. But maybe I do." she said as she shrugged her shoulders and bit her lip. "And even if I did, you would have to get used to me being this way. It's who I am. Who I've always been. And this is probably all I'll ever be." she said as she scuffed her foot against the ground before looking back up at him. "Just don't get your hopes up for me ok? I'm just going to be a disappointment." she said with a soft sigh. Like always. she thought to herself before shaking off those thoughts.

I can get my hopes as high a I want" He joked, trying to lighten up the mood a bit. Maybe make her laugh. Shane sighed and walked to Casey and Todd "Hey... Am I interupting anything?" he asked. hhmmm. OH idea Shane looked at Casey "Do we need anything? Like for food or anything.

She partly hoped not, it would give her more time to prepare. Nikki wasn't a people person, she didn't trust anyone outside her family and even trusting them was hard. Her mother was dead and her father was a drunk. So she couldn't always trust that he would be able to talk. Part of her wondered why she was here if she didn't trust people, but she hoped that maybe this summer she could start to trust people a little more. She knew it wouldn't be easy, she had been hurt a lot in the past, but she wanted to try. Besides, she wnated to help these teens. Though, Nikki was nervous about meeting her teen, since she didn't know what to expect. She began to walk through the camp and spotted Shane, Casey, and one of the teens. She walked slowly over to them and smiled shyly. "Hi, has my teen arrived yet?"" the tall brunette asked, putting on a more serious face. Nikki was good at hiding what she was truly feeling and was glad about that. Over the years, she had felt walls build around her to keep people away from getting too close. With a sigh, Nikki nodded to Shane and pushed her brown hair behind her ear. She smiled softly at the teen sitting next to Casey.

The tall brunette pushed her bangs away from her face, revealing sun kissed skin. She thought for a moment, then nodded. "Yeah, actually. It's going to just be pizza tonight, but we need to have it picked up. If you wouldn't mind, could you head downtown to the pizza parlor? Please pick up three pepperoni, three cheese, and three sausage, all in large. We have a fully stocked fridge for drinks, so we only need the pizza," Casey asked, her blue eyes darting quickly back up to Todd, then back to Shane. She held his gaze evenly. Her father always taught her to make eye contact, and it had become a habit. It didn't matter who she looked at; she always looked them in the eye. Sometimes people didn't like it. Some people were creeped out by it. But hey, this tall sporty girl was straight up and honest. She'd tell it to you like it is.
Casey nodded toward the parking lot. "You got your own ride? If you don't you can borrow my truck," Casey offered, her eyes looking at a large Dodge Ram 3500 Dually, in silver. Her dream car; her wealthy father had given to to her. Casey remembered who had suggested her coming here to her father; it was a friend about her age. Casey smiled; the doctor had been her first crush. But he'd been indeed a very good friend to her- especially when she had cracked her skull in a cross country race. She had been running and tripped when a skunk ran out in front of her. She tripped over a log and landed on the curb head first, cracking her skull and recievng the impact of a concussion. She'd been in a coma for weeks, and people thought she'd die. But that one doctor had rescued her, doing some immedaite stitches that saved her life. Casey smiled at the memory. It was definitely something good to dwell on. But nonetheless, Casey turned to Nikki with a bright smile.
"Okay,we have Gail, Heidi, and Todd. . . Where's Alec? He must not be here yet. Nikki, he's not here yet. Hey, actually, since Alec isn't here yet, would you mind going with Shane to pick up the dinner? It's pizza for the first night. I was thinking pizza and some movies, maybe? Get to know one another?" Casey asked, her take charge personality taking hold of her. She was always a leader; and that's why she was actually pretty good at running the camp. She was trustworthy and soft, yet firm and was able to rin things smoothly. Casey smiled at Nikki, then turned back to Todd. "Todd, this is Nikki and Shane. They're another two of the counselors here. You can come to any of them if I'm not here if something's wrong," Casey said. All the counselors at the camp seemed to be pretty good with the teens, so the tal brunette was aware of all the new things going on.

♫Heidi chuckled at his last comment and she smiled to herself. Though the questions he asked were really starting to get to her. Her buzz was already fading and he wasn't cheering her up the slightest. She sighed and headed back to her cabin. She knew with the hangover she'd probably only feel worse later so she decided to take a nap for a while. She looked over at Gail and smiled at her. "I really didn't think coming here was going to be so complicated. And exhausting." she said to her as she plopped down on her own bed. She kicked off her converse and ran her fingers through her hair. "At least now I know it's going to be an interesting summer. What about you? You met your counselor yet?" she asked her as she rolled onto her side and rested her head on her hand so she could look at her.
Surprisingly, she was actually starting to like it here. She pressured her counselor to get drunk with her and she even got to kiss him. Her roommate was a lot like her and she had to admit, she was pretty cute. She could only imagine what the other teens were going to look like. Hopefully they'd help her rebel against the counselors too. She could picture it in her hand. A bunch of obnoxious teens causing nothing but destruction in their own little rebellion. It'll be written in history books every where! Ok, so maybe it wouldn't be that bad. But she knew she was going to make this summer horrible for the counselors and fun for her. No matter how she felt for them.
