Naruto stared in shock and awe. it reminded the boy of his own tenant, the Kyuubi no Kitsune, or Nine tailed Fox.

Rini was about to growl, but a quick snap from tori made her sit tamely on the ground. After a minute, the wolf faded into chakra. It quickly thinned, then dissapeared all together. She looked up cautiously at Naruto, ready for him to run.

Naruto didn't run. he only felt sorry for the poor girl. "you're just like me..." he told her sadly.

"L-like...you?" She sat up in shock. A jingle came from the pouch around her waist. "You mean... you..?" A conversation she'd had with Hinata came to her memory. 'It's not like he chose it, but the Kyuubi lies within him. Most people avoid him, but he's not a monster. Im trying to convince them that it's the same for you, but...' Then she'd smiled and said, 'things will always find a way t work out, though.'

Naruto nodded at Tori. "Yeah...I can't change it, but it's why the civilians don't like me too much. the main difference between us is that you had a family, and I didn't." he said sadly.

When she heard the sadness in his voice, she glomped him, even though she'd only met him half an hour ago. "Dont be sad about the past, 'Uto! Be happy for now and the future!" She recited a line from one of her favorite books. "We cant change the past, but if we learn from it, everything will turn out right!"

Naruto smiled and hugged her back, not noticing the small hint of red on his cheeks. "you're right! I just gotta focus on now and the future! thanks!" he said happily.

Just then, her stomach growled. She took a step back and stared at the ground, blushing. "So, um... wanna go get some Ramen?"

Naruto's eyes widened with joy. a nice, and might I add, pretty girl offered him ramen. that's a two for one right there. "YES!!!!!" he yelled with excitement.

She ran behind him, laughing. She skidded to a stop right next to a seat At Ichiraku's and fell into it. She pulled some money out of her pouch and put it on the table. "Chicken ramen please. Two bowls!" She panted.

Naruto jumped into a seat next to Tori. "ten bowls of Miso Ramen, please!" he said. damn, he sure loved ramen.
