Istas had grabbed a yellow for the pony's eye and star marking. "Do they?" She asked curiously, she knew they were fun stories to listen to and taught about the world, however, she never realized that they could change. "I didn't know they could change as they were retold. Is it like that telephone game?"
Her butter yellow eyes moved from the almost colored pony to the older boy again. She was curious if that's how it actually worked.

"A little bit like that, yes." Xavier answered, and put his last crayon back in the lunchbox. He was done now, but he would wait until Istas was done before he would leave - but he moved to sit, rather than lay down chest-down as he had been doing for coloring. It was much more comfortable sitting that way, at least for him.
Did it mean he was officially old, now ?
"Like, one person might say the story putting more emphasis on one thing they liked - for a different person, they might have liked a different part more and they put more emphasis on that. Makes sense ?"

Istas seemed interested as he explained. Finishing the pony's markings. The only thing really left was the background but that could wait till later.
"Sorta..." She said softly, thinking as she put the yellow crayon away. "I mean, it sounds sorta silly too though, 'cause all parts of the story are... well that's what makes it a story... if you leave something out or put more... emp... emp... siseses..." she wrinkled her nose, she couldn't say that work. "empsiseses... wouldn't that ruin the story?" She asked.

"Emphasis." He repeated for her, not seeming bothered at all by her stumbling on the word. "You know, put more attention or something ? And well... Maybe it would, but in the end we're all human and we're all a little biased, hm ?"
"Your pony is really pretty." He told her with a smile. "You're very good at coloring, Lulu."

She blinked, "Oh." She nodded, "I guess..." She tilted her head thinking.
She paused and smiled when he said her pony was pretty. "Thank you!" She giggled, "Your picture is pretty too." She nodded. "You could put it on your fridge if you'd like." She offered.

"I think you should keep it." He smiled. "It's a gift, here." He closed the coloring book carefully and handed it back to her.
"I should probably get going now." He was starting to get a little hungry now. "It was nice to meet you, Lulu. Sorry about bumping all over you."

She giggled, "Thank you!" She took the coloring book bac.
She nodded, "I should go soon too. Mama'll probably have lunch soon. It was nice to meet you too." She nodded as he apologized she seemed to think, "It's okay! No one got hurt." She was obviously over the fact she'd been in his way by now.

Xavier just chuckled at that, as he got up and brushed stray blades of grass off his jeans. "I figure."
"See ya, Lulu." He waved at her as he pulled his headphones back on his ears and started to walk off.
