Eltanin Sadachbia Anyway, the main thing I am getting at is even though there are those dark forces in the word that run counter to God, a person must first choose to follow those forces. A devil did not kill Mal, a person did. What I was trying to say is basically that the dark forces tempt people to do wrong things. It may not be as obvious as a talking snake, the ripples of actions can spark new actions, and if we listen to the darker impulses of our human natures, we're just playing into the evil. I do believe there is one original source of evil. Just for the record. ^_^

Tragedy has a knack of shaking you to your core. It's kinda cool to know that so many of us in this guild have such a strong core and are educated enough to discuss it intelligently. heart
It's also something special when so many different people can BE so different and still be friends. SO, Twi, as weird and crazy and easily distracted by shiny things as we are, we're all in your corner no matter what.

:gathers you all up into a big hug.: heart
from Pagans, to Christians, to Shamans, to Wiccans, to Buddhists, to Hindus, to Atheists, we all are mature enough to openly discuss our opinions, and to not be offended by eachothers differnt ideas or points of view. i've noticed that there is at least as much variation within given folks of the same Faith as there are between those of others.
and i am glad that we have place to discuss it properly without getting off-topic.
though Sapph, thank you so much for your Prayers, i'd ask more for them to go towards Malachi's peaceful Repose and Afterlife, and to victory in my battle to stop the gang-violence. i'll be bringing it up in Senate on Wednsday.

so, i gave the Eulogy tonight. i ended up talking not only about Malachi, but also of our other fallen friends. we decided to observe October the 14th as a Day of Remembrance of all our Loved Ones who die due to gang-violence and Street Politics.
i'm gonna bring this up in Senate next wednsday too, in the hopes that i can get people to be more active about preventing this kind of tragedy.

That sounds like a great idea. heart Someday, I'll probably be teaching school and lecturing my kids on how Victims of Gang Violence Memorial Day started. ^_^

I would look into it, >.> there has to be a way to get a holiday set aside, and as always, i'm still here, just lurking in the shadows, as always.... trying not to correct your grammer....
And I am glad the memorial went well.
