Sam & ASARSam couldn't hear the Glaceon speak from a far ways away, but the verbatim echoes of his guildmates informed him quite well. " ASAR, go do things." ASAR's body went straight and rigid, one arm at his forehead. " Alrighty!" ASAR went forward, spacing himself out from the rest of the crowd. Although one might think this was alone sufficient to show his status as a volunteer, he did not think so. He instead loudly shouted out " ASAR, reporting for duty!"

~ Veronica~ Vanessa~ Claudia~ Claudia considered the Glaceon's words with much thought. Prove themselves? Whatever task this Pokemon had in mind must be horribly tough, rigorous, and backbreaking. Judging from the task at hand, the test would probably take a great deal of strategy too. Taking it all into consideration, there was only one possible answer, she would have to go. She would volun-"I'LL DO IT!" Claudia had been positioned rather heroically, arm raised and mouth open, ready to take responsibility for proving her team's worth. Although when Veronica decided to pipe up, her ribbon-like hand drooped, her mouth closed, and she gave Veronica a look that could fell the mightiest beast. The other two didn't seem to notice, as Vanessa almost instantly piped up, too, "Jah! Veronica vill do it! She's tough as nails! She can handle anything!" Fits placed arrogantly on her hips, Veronica began to laugh like an idiot, her ego only continuing to inflate with Vanessa's comments. Claudia just continued to glare, "Kiss-a**." she muttered.

Era & Ethfael Era and Ethfael listened to the Glaceon intently as she told them that one of them would have to stay behind and the other would have to fulfill a task of some sort. The chuckle threw them both off and sent shivers down their spines since it so contrasted with the Glaceon herself. Then all that was left for them to decide, and naturally Era and Ethfael both were unwilling to let the other leave since the task which they had to accomplish was unknown. "I'll go," Ethfael told Era, "I can deal with the task that she asks us to do, and then I will come back." Era shook her head, "You can't Ethfael, you just took a blow for me, so it's my turn to return the favor. I'm very capable of handling whatever she could throw at me." "We can't quarrel," Ethfael said, "We have to agree on who will go." He regarded her with the request in his eyes. "I can take care of it, I promise." Era sighed and set her paw on Ethfael's tail. "Ethfael, you need to rest," she said, "You're still not fully recovered from that Earthquake attack, and if it weren't for me you wouldn't be hurt nearly as badly. I need to do something in return, and you know that I'm more fit to go than you are. Please let me do this." Ethfael regarded her closely and then at last sighed, admitting defeat. "Alright," he said. "I'll wait. Be careful." "I will," Era said with a smile. "Don't worry. Then she headed over towards the Glaceon trying not to show any sign of her timidness. "I'll represent my team," she said to the Glaceon from a respectful distance away, determination in her eyes. I can do this, she thought, And no one can stop me.

Saileithe~ DariusSai hopped off of the Zangoose as he fell off balance, Gungnir vanishing in a burst of light and he struggled to recover himself and soon managed to halt and stand. Darius looked over at the Galceon, then Sai, then the Glaceon. What was going on now? Sai made quick eye contact with Darius, then looked at the strangely colored Glaceon. She was the passive one so she figured it'd be a good idea to go instead. "Fine I'll go." Sai replied and Darius fell concerned but what she did was her choice.

T e a m A u r o r axxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxx Leaf put Indigo down as soon as the earthquake stopped. Indigo tried to stand up but she fell down again. The Earthquake really beat her up. Leaf looked at his weaken friend. “I’ll go with you,” Leaf said.
“Leaf... don’t,” Indigo said as she tried to get up again. Leaf made her sit down. “Yes, Indigo I’m going,” Leaf said sternly.
“But…”
“I am going no matter what you say,” Leaf interrupted. Indigo couldn't argue. Leaf turned towards the Glaceon. “I’ll go for my team,” Leaf said with a brave face. Indigo just sat on the ground trying to stay calm. She felt all sorts of emotion. She was worried about what might happen to Leaf, she was scared that she might lose him and she was depressed because she can’t help him. This was hardest thing for Indigo. She can’t handle the fact she was letting Leaf go off without her. She never thought that they might get separated.
“You better come back,” Indigo said as she held back her tears. Leaf turned around and gave her a small smile. “Of course… you parents asked me to watch over you,” he said with a smirk. Indigo laugh a bit as she tried to fight back the tears. “Your parents said the same thing to me,” Indigo said. They laughed. “I’ll come back so, don’t worry too much,” Leaf said. Indigo nodded and shook the urge to cry. “Remember our motto,” Indigo said. “We will not give up, we will keep on fighting no matter what,” Leaf said as he walked toward the group. Even though Indigo seem calmer in the outside but she was still a nervious wreak in the inside.

Reginald & Desdemona & AnastasiaThe threesome exchanged one hundred and fifteen glances in a fraction of a moment ((I thought it sounded funny *shrug*)). "Any volunteers?" Desdemona asked. "I don't know about this..." Anastasia said. Reginald said, "Anastasia is our newest member and so I don't think we should suddenly give her an incredibly hard task." He paused for consideration, "... I suppose I could go." Desdemona shrugged, "its your choice," she said. "Very well," Reginald sighed and stepped forward, "I represent my team."

Zori & LunaLuna was about to step forward when Zori's leafy tail lashed out in front of her stopping her from volunteering. The Leafeon padded out to face her teammate. "I've fought one of my own people; it's only right that I atone for my mistake, Luna." She murmured quietly, causing the Marowak's eyes to widen in shock. "Wh-what are you talking about? Your people?" Luna was obviously confused, glancing from Zori to the Glaceon and the great bear they'd fought before. It was obvious that there was some resemblance, although she did not have the same, brush-like tail that they did, possibly due to the fact that a leaf could not have a brush. "My mother... Aqualia... She was a member of the tribe, and so... in a way... so am I." With those words, Luna had no more to say, nodding and motioning for her captain to step forward. Zori stepped up to face the Glaceon, pricking her delicate ears, and dipping her head to the tribal Glaceon. "I apologize, and I'll do my best to earn your trust." Her golden eyes shimmered with regret.

~Raven ~Kewnew ~Grim
"s**t!" A voice wailed over the crowd after what seemed to be an intense game of Rock, Paper, Scissors came to an end between a Grovyle in her teammate. The loser, being Kewnew, was obviously the one who ended up participating in what seemed to be another generic yet life threatening task.
Meanwhile, Raven, was in a visible and audible panic as Zori offered herself up. Sure her reasoning was sound but absolutely no details were even given on this 'task' and if it was being administered by a Glaceon wouldn't that make her more likely to have troubles with it? This wasn't good at all in the Lucario's eyes as he practically attached himself to Luna, nerves racing, as he rambled on about his fears that no one really cared about by this point.

[Did I say Glaceon? I totally meant Darkrai in disguise. Gosh, I always get those two confused!]
  Solaris---Ami
Solaris stepped forward with a nod, "And I'll represent mine." The Glaceon smiled suddenly, revealing an array of sharp teeth that were not natural for such a delicate creature. "The strongest take the challenge, or so I believe. So those of you who stepped forward wont meddle, the rest of you, however...welcome to a nightmare~" The Glaceon dissolved suddenly, as though made of black water and then spread out in a large puddle across the area. The sky turned black, darkness engulfed the trees and shruddery and they all but vanished amidst the horror. "Now I have you~ And Ammo to fuel my attacks~ The nightmares of these Pokemon will prove useful when I make them a reality!" A single red eye gleamed out from the shadows and black tendrils shot from every side to ensnare the Pokemon who had volunteered for this 'challenge'.
"It was a tra-ACK!" The Espeon hit the ground as a black rope wound around his right hindleg and dragged him off into the darkness as well as the other 'volunteers'. "Daddy!" Ami dove for him, but missed by a few inches. "DAMMIT!" Darkrai's laugh filled the empty void. "Now, who to start with...why not this one? Let's see how they like facing your fear..." The black lasso holding Zori shook lightly to indicate her and flames began to build up around the Guilds to form a cage of fire. Well, that wasnt so bad-WHAT'S MAKING THAT GROWLING SOUND?!

Zori & LunaZori screamed as she was snared, and the Leafeon thrashed, trying to escape her bonds. She felt them constrict around his lithe, little body, and her ribs were only just holding against the powerful grip. A shadowy tendril wrapped tightly around her face, sliding through her jaws to keep her from crying out, and her eyes narrowed in anger. Luna leaped forward to help, knocking the Leafeons rather pathetic brother off of her. For a strong opponent, Raven was a massive crybaby. Fire shot up in front of the Marowak, and she screamed, too, being thrown back by the resilient, super-heated cage of flames. "Zori!" The Marowak shouted, calling to her captain, whom she could no longer see. Arceusdamnit! The Ground-type spun on her heels at the sound of the growling, narrowing her eyes at the approaching enemies. A Charmeleon approached, running at full speed with it's deadly claws extended in a silent threat. It let out a fierce roar, but it was quickly silenced by Luna, who stepped sideways of the foolish Fire-type, slicing it's throat with a Bone Rush. "A**." She muttered, darting forward to meet another Fire-type, this one a Slugma. She leaped, twisting in mid-air, before striking down with a Bone Club, and shattering it's thick shell. "Can't this ever be simple?" She whipped a Bonemerang forward, striking through the shell of another Slugma.

~Kewnew ~Grim
Kewnew barely had the time to let out a yelp of shock as suddenly a lasso of dark energy took her from behind and dragged her away to Arceus knows where. Naturally her teammate took a moment to respond to this, being too caught up in the show around him, and by the time he actually turned to see where the squeal of fear came from the Grovyle was gone. With a shrug he raced into battle regardless; a nearby Infernape having just almost taken his head off with one clean punch. Not like it would have done much to his ghostly figure, but it would have been annoying as hell to get back on if it did land. Within moments Grim returned the more fatal favor.
'SEE?! SEE!?! I TOLD YOU SO T _ T" As the previously mentioned wall of fire prevented him from moving onward also towards his kidnapped sister; the Lucario could do nothing but wail in disgust. The one time where he was actually worried with good reason too. In a fit of rage a nearby set of Camerupt responsible for the Earth Power that blockaded him were quickly riddled with holes from a spray of Aura Spheres from his 'gun'.

~ Veronica~ Vanessa~ Claudia~ Veronica continued to laugh pompously with her shiny friend fawning over her "amazing glory" as Claudia stared at them viciously. Well that is, until giant evil tendrils of horrible darkness ensnared the small Larvitar in dark tendrils, "WHOAHOLYSHIT" She screamed and Thrashed against dark tendrils, but to no avail. Soon, the had sunk her beneath the earth, into a world of pure darkness. "VERONICA!!!" As soon as Veronica had disappeared beneath the earth, the small Aron had rushed to the place where Veronica once was, frantically searching for her. Claudia placed her hand beneath her chin and supported it with the other arm in a common position for thinking, "Oh dear, this complicates things..." Vanessa quickly turned on the Banette, tears literally threatening to overflow. It was obvious what the small Pokemon was about to say, so Claudia held up her hand to stop her, "Now now, hun, don't worry. She's still alive." Vanessa opened her mouth and once again, Claudia took the initiative, "How do I know? Well look around you, do the others look dead?" Vanessa did as she was told and surveyed the area. While it was true that several other Pokemon were being ensnared, yet very much alive, that wasn't the primary concern at the moment. As Darkrai gestured to Zori, large pillars of flames shot out from the ground, their intense heat nearly baking the surrounding area. As if that wasn't bad enough, a fair-sized army of fire type Pokemon began to enter the cage, all looking rather angry and hungry for blood. Without warning, they attacked. A rabid-looking Quilava shot towards Vanessa, attempting to take her off guard with a quick attack. Thankfully, she had been ready, and easily knocked it aside with a Mud-Slap. Similarly, a large Arcanine charged towards Claudia, mouth aflame in preparation for a Fire Fang attack. However, Claudia just stood there, smiling at the oncoming Pokemon, wait patiently until..... with sudden predator-like grace, she dodged the Fire Fang and Sucker Punched the large dog right in the jaw. The sheer force of the attack shot the Arcanine several feet away where it landed atop a random Chimchar, knocking it out also.
Everything was so dark, so cold, so lonely. The void where Veronica had been brought was completely black. It was hard to describe how dark it really was. It seemed to be an absolute darkness, not a single thing could be seen, not even when the small Larvitar tried to look at her own hands. A sudden sound caught Veronica attention. It was quiet at first but slowly got louder. Oh no... Louder and louder it grew until it was a roar. Oh Arceus, why?! Veronica clapped her hands over her ears and let out a terrified shriek in a desperate attempt to drown out the sound. Drown... ironic, since the sound was water.

Incultyr && Atra && Sherman && Zora && CecilCecil's tail glowed as it began its transformation from tail to sword reflexively, the trained warrior getting down into a battle stance the moment he sensed that something was wrong. Something wound its way around his ankle and the Smeargle turned, slicing his sword through the black tendril. It simply flowed around the sword harmlessly though, and more came in at him, trying to bind him. The Normal Type Slashed his sword back and forth desperately, but his blade did little, and soon he could barely move. Fighting against it with all his strength, Cecil was slowly brought down to his knees. "Treachery! Deceit!" He cried out angrily. "There is no honour in tricking your opponent! Let me go and I shall fight you! We will see who's blade is-" His was cut off as a dark tendril wrapped itself tightly around his muzzle, shutting his mouth closed. He continued to fight against the Tendrils, unable to slip into the shadows with such close restraints. --- "Aw damn." Incultyr glanced around as the volunteers were dragged off. Well, looks like it was a good idea he didn't go. Not that Darkrai could find a fear in him if he tried. A Combusken charged at him, only to be hurled back with a rock in its face. Something large charged at him from behind, and without turning to see what it was, Incultyr stomped his foot on the ground. A large block of rock rose up suddenly behind him, and the attacking Flareon smacked into it. Just behind him the limp Umbreon laid still, her breathing shallow, her eyes closed. Blood flowed from her flank, refusing to stop, wetting the fur and dying her ring red... --- Atra glared at the Flareon that charged towards him. "Sherman, keep me safe!" He ordered again. Spellcasters needed their concentration. Sherman glanced at the Flareon as it leaped at his throat, and he yelped in fear, shutting his eyes tight. A barrier glimmered in front of him and the Flareon slammed into it. Its fur bristled angrily, and fire erupted from its small body, wearing through the Protect Shield Sherman didn't even know he had summoned. Moments later water began to gently fall from the sky above, building in intensity until the rain fell down in bucketfuls. Atra opened his eyes from the spellcasting, grinning as the rain got near his fur and vapourized immediately, cloaking him in steam. Water rose up around the enemy Flareon, encasing it in a large globe before freezing solid. (It is currently raining! -3 Fire Types. Cecil: As part of his quest as a Black-Ink, Cecil is tasked with Sketching and Mastering every move. He is only allowed to Sketch moves from an opponent in battle. "Every Move" includes those that are unique to the Legendaries. Because of the rules of his quest, he must fight them to Sketch those moves.
