I want to be a bad guy in a guild RP. A bad guy as a character other than Strifer. It'd be much harder to roleplay as a zombie. So my vote is for powered up humanish things.
Edit: Armeecorps could go either way in my opinion. It feels nice to be rewarded with a rank up when you do go on missions or participate in a roleplay. Its like being rewarded for having fun. Like when you find a profession you absolutely love and a way to get paid healthily for doing it.

Obseen, then that's good.
Strifer, ever played/seen Resident Evil? You could be the "Wesker" Character, who started the whole thing for personal profit.

Nope, never played a Resident Evil. Probably should have though. Can the "Wesker" Character have awesome powers?

I would hate you if he DIDN'T have awesome powers. Not really.
But you might go down a rank or two.
Maybe.
Rofl.
But seriously, yes, he should have awesome powers. We would...

As far as enemies go, I think creatures with supernatural/ paranormal/ superhuman powers take the cake, always. There is constant possibility for more variety. You could have one person who does have death touch or necromancesque powers, or someone who manipulates disease and thus creates a zombie epidemic, without chaining our guild RP into one theme. That way such a villain could be teamed up with, say, a blighter or pyrokineticist as backup, as well as a zombie army.
What I want from this guild is to watch it rise above the monotony of so many other cookie cutter RP guilds. We need to have variety in enemies, variety in scenaris, and over-arching plots that can te together and build on one another, to give people a real sense of immersion. If anything, I think that one department should be made and maintained by the guild officers and crew, and that would be a lore-building/ world craft department. It's not something critical to this moment, but ultimately we want people to come back to our guild and recommend it to others for awesome, jaw dropping moments and immersive RP experiences that make them WANT to participate, WANT to triumph and WANT to keep coming back. ISn't that the whole point of roleplaying? To find yourself in another world, and to be intrigued by the possibilities and opportunities it has to offer?
Especially when it comes to reputation and notoriety, we're really going to have to provide our A game NONSTOP to get such a reputation. You all need to know that and realize it now, and commit to it.

Wielder: I want Revres to be a bunch of things. I think our main enemies should be a group of powered-up people like us, so we can play them, and thus make the RP bigger and better with more opportunity for everyone. The zombie thing can be a mission the League does in the RP. I think Revres should be like that; quick missions, with a long standing storyline that advances more slowly throughout in the background, taking the stage when necessary. Think of a season of a TV show, there's a main storyline for the entire season (usually ending in a twist for the next season), and each episode has it's own subplot. Like that.
See, I wasn't talking about getting big, as in, having our name known. That would be epic. I was talking about getting big member-wise. I agree with what Ferregar said on the member base subject 100%. If we had a good twenty or thirty dedicated, active, RP'ers, we could do everything we want; we could do missions, we could have an active Haven, and we could have an active guild RP. What I really want to talk about is how we build that member base and get that dedication from then in return. And to get our name known we have to show it off. Affiliate in every instance you can, and have a thread somewhere dedicated to everyone your affiliated with (preferably on the front page for respect reasons). Also, while mentioning the front page, I'll say it would be a really good idea to use it for welcoming threads for every new member to help them get settled in. Most people are shy enough to join something, and never make a decent attempt to jump in because the people who are active are all kinda doing their own thing.
I want to be mercenaries who do a bunch of crazy-a** s**t all over everywhere with everything. Kinda why I'm so impartial to the armeekorp ranks, that and I don't think it helps establish a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

That.
That in mind... we're cleaning the guild. Shouldn't we start off with a brand new Guild RP?

Aye. I think we should. The old one has gotten complicated and kinda dropped off completely twice now. Especially with the time reverse thing.

I've already mentioned my view of the Departments, missions, and the like to Darius. Restating them now here. Departments? Need to just be scrapped, completely. Promotions should be done the old way (when I joined the guild) where higher-up people would recommend other, lower-ranked people for promotion. Missions should be kept how we're planning on doing them now. Mercenary-swarm style. The_Master_Wielder Quick vote: Do you want Zombies, Demons, or Powered-up Humans like most of our characters, as the enemy? Personally, I'm partial to the Zombie one. In my head, I'm thinking a few of us drop into a city overrun by Zombies, and try to find a way to destroy them. We have a preventative serum (Read: Vaccine) so we can't get infected, though death is always possible. Probably zombies of the Left 4 Dead variety. Why not have all three? Have your Zombie hordes, that are run on a swarm/hive mind mentality by Strifers "Wesker-ish" character, and maybe other officers, who are in turn minions to Demons, who use weaker demons for their bidding also. ((See the Book of Demons posted in Revres, good starting point there.)) Alright. Possibly just a little complicated. I, however, will agree to the dropping of Revres for now. Maybe, some time in the future, Gear can restart it when we have a lot of fresh blood in here. EDIT: Also, Forgot to mention, I am ever so slowly formulating a plotline for an RP loosely related to Darius's third Plot Response in the RP Ranking.

You mean the Prompts? I came up with 2 and 3. Darius started it with 1, and when we started with the application form, and the prompt, and all that, I thought up two more, to allow for diversity in the applicants.
