Not to sound corny or cliche(who am I kidding this is corny and cliche) but honestly it has to be the personality for me. If they have an unattractive personality, I just see them as unattractive...

the stomach part under the belly button is very sexy. then there is that whole thing of creating life gotta give you kudos on that one

women are inherently beautiful and can be beautiful doing anything
(except maybe the cinnamon challenge)
a goal for men is to love every part not zero in on one thing.
Which is very ironic because in practically every other type of animal the male is the more beautiful with the female being the more dull/unattractive.

that's because in animals the boys have to impress the girls.
Our culture it's more the girls showing off for the boys than anything else.
So guys evolved into less attractive beings with girls evolving into more attractive beings because humans were like "screw you guys we're doing things our way"?

No, actually in a very remote culture I learned about in psyc. things are still sort of that way. The men are really emotional and cry at funerals, but the females are very stoic and if they show anything but indifference, or anger, they are deemed very unfeminine. In that same culture, I think once a year the elegible men wear headdresses and put on jewlery. They strut around in a circle and the women pick which one they want to have for a husband.

I thought that was kind of neat how it's so opposite there.

And it's not that we automatically said "Hey let's do it this way", but it's more like our cultures evolved to treasure more attractive women. Those women that survived then to reproduce were slightly more attractice than the last, and generally the most attractice daughters were more sought after in male-dominated societies.

In the wild, it's usually ALL depended on the females.

They choose who THEY WANT to have THEIR babies.

And look at the lioness, for example. The male lion, all he does, is protect the pride from other males and help make babies. The lionesses hunt for their pride, raise and train their cubs, not to mention beign pregnant, and the defend the pride from the other animals that could hurt their cubs or other members.

What do the other males want when the confront the main male lion?

The females.

Why?

I think I've said that male lions usually don't partake in the hunt. Bit of an easy life with females running things.
I think you misunderstood my post. I was talking about aesthetic beauty. How the males are usually more elegant, majestic, and flamboyant in the animal world they are rather dull in comparison to females in humans. I was making a rather sarcastic post where humans thousands of years ago were like "Hey nature screw you. We're gonna evolve so that the females are more elegant while the males look real dull." and then they did it.

usually Chins and Necks catch my attention first, unless she wears cloths that accentuate her T&A, which many on campus do...

but yeh, i have a thing for exposed Throats, and for Neck-Jewelry. whee

i'm also a total sucker for Cute, Submissive girls.... sweatdrop i know it's frowned upon publically, and encouraged by media society, but i admit (Proudly even) that i am a Predator.

this is part of why i like Fat Girls so much! whee heart they try extra hard to be girly, and by girly i mean societally stigmatized "girly", meaning submissive and cute. and their general low self-esteem increases their submissive nature. mrgreen

also, as far as the Sex goes, it's true when they say there's More to Love. ^///^ it's so perfect....

Okay, I take my previous post back... THIS is the best answer!

Honesty is certainly not always the best policy, but it's sure as hell refreshing sometimes! heart

&, Chief, you'll make a fat girl a very, very happy woman one day. Hell, forget that, you'll make MANY a fat girl very happy woman, on many days! blaugh

already have, plenty of times, though i tend to leave a trail of broken hearts wherever i go. sad ah, the tragedies of being an Aquarian Metal Horse with Scorpio Moon and Pluto, and a prevalence of Capricorn in the other Planets.... -.-

though, i do have currently a lovely plus-sized girl or two! ^.^ heart

It's vague because it's a simple idea. When you see someone, what is the first thing you notice? Their appearance. Whether it be how they dress, what they look like, their ethnicity, etc. You are not automatically going to know what kind of person they are just by looking at them. Doing so is called prejudice. As for your initial response to him, I don't see how stating that appearance as the first thing anyone notices is stating or even implying that he is "reinforcing an idea that a member of a general classification think alike". The average person (person not just guy) who isn't blind and has a memory span of more than a few weeks will notice appearance first. And after all he did specifically state a distinction between what he notices first and what he likes most about a girl. Also looking back on all previous posts, there is only one (even vaguer post) that mentions nothing about outward appearance but I attribute that to laziness and thus should be counted as an outlier statistically.

you realy arn't gettng it at all? confused i thought i was being clear as day.

look, i bolded it. it's not the appearance thing i'm talking about, it's that he said it's what "any guy would notice first". to say things like that reinforces teh idea that you can lump people into classifications based on race or gender or sexuality or religion, and say they all think or act alike.

and then i went on to point out hypocracies or inconsistencies that i noticed.

i saw a chance to use an example to enlighten people to this kinda thing. it's not that i have a problem with his answer, it's that i want people to be more aware of what they say and mean, and what gets said and done around them.
A big but on that one. He said appearance. Nothing about race, gender, sexuality, etc. It was a very broad term that encompasses all within the norm. It's the equivalent of me calling a Colt .45 a pistol. Are you going to get on me and say "No you can't call it a pistol because you're assuming that all Colt .45s are pistols when one could theoretically be built just like a rifle with a barrel extension and a stock addition." No you're not. Because the chances of a Colt .45 being built in any way other than a pistol in this current time period are very slim just as the chances of finding a blind person who can't notice appearance first online would be very slim. Admittedly he said "what all guys would notice first" when he could have said "what all people notice first" but the thread title was clearly directed towards guys only so using that rule of thumb, the assumption that all people replying to the post being all guys makes perfect sense.

:sighs.: xp no. that's not it. you don't get what i'm saying. my subject is not the word "appearance", at all.
I know it wasn't. But what I was pointing out was that you were ignoring the part that made it acceptable. It's like work. Are you going to go up to your boss and say "I don't wanna do this work. It's boring and all I do is sit at a desk shuffling papers all day". Your boss replies "But you're making $35/hour at this job." and you reply "The pay was not my point at all. It was that my job isn't fun." It's not a matter of a single thing that is presented but the presentation as a whole. When you start to dissect and isolate only certain portions to point out their faults it's no different than how people in real life dissect and isolate certain types of people based on their age, gender, sex, religion, etc. to find their faults.

confused :scratches my head.:

i'm honestly lot now. i wasn't doing that at all. my comment was an off-the-topic one, meant only to seize and opportunity to talk about something else using someone's choice of words to make a point about my digression.

I only make eye contact when I'm trying to be aggressive. Other than that, I feel it makes people feel uncomfortable when I look them in the eye. I tend to look down around their throat area or off to the side. But if I'm seeking to be aggressive I'll make solid eye contact and not move my eyes til they're either out of sight or break eye contact themselves. I used to get myself into a good amount of trouble because of that but that's just the way I am.
